Had a screw in my left rear tyre. The previous tyre shop had told me that the tyre could not be repaired and I would have to replace the tyre £ 198 The National Tyre manager came out checked the screw, removed it as it was only stuck between the tread. Saved me an unnecessary expense. Great service.

I normally use this branch for my van tyres, because its local to me and their online prices are competitive. Anyway i came here a few days ago with very slow tyre air leak/puncture problems on my front two Avons, as it was a ball ache topping them up every few weeks. The manager Paul, who normally helps me out was away on annual leave, so the young lads in there, Lewis, (Eddie & Jay, relief managers) where all very helpful and thorough in finding out what it was, to which they showed me, 'barely visible side wall air leaks' on both of them (you could hardly see it, took the soap spray a while to show a slight air bubble). I don't do much mileage, and although the tread was still good, the side walls were a bit curb worn after 5 years, so they have done me ok really. So they fitted me two new Avons on, job done. I had 4 tyres booked in to be fitted first thing in the morning - no issues so far with my tyres and were fitted in just over an hour. However the young chap that helped me was the only person in the whole place! He was answering calls, fitting my tyres AND having to tend to other walk in customers! Felt really sorry for him as he was having to turn away people that had already booked and also dealing with irritated walk in customers. Surely a national chain can staff their business properly? The poor lad was doing his best but cannot run the whole place whilst servicing vehicles! Shocking work conditions. For this reason I probably won't come back here. I considered giving a 3 star review because of this but my personal experience was positive so knocked one star off due to the above!

I've been using National Tyres in Watford for quite a few years now for both mine and my wife's car, I've always found them to be friendly and professional and obviously it goes without saying their prices are yet to be beaten. Manager Paul and staff do indeed try their best even though they are very busy at times. Thanks for the 5 star service guys!

Booked in for mot and service, guy booked it in and gave me a time to complete. He had the mot completed in no time the service takes longer but the work was completed in the time alloted. He was willing to wait because I was working and couldn't get there to pick my car up until 6. Excellent service and not too expensive either.

I was really impressed with the service I received. The tyres were changed quickly and efficiently. All the staff were very professional and friendly. Thanks to Cal, Richard and the rest of the team for making me feel like a valued customer. It was a really positive experience. I went to National Tyres and Auto-care today, and earlier in the week. They did everything to help, including giving me contact details for other services who could help, aswell as another local garage!!! They even stayed a little extra to help meet my needs, as they knew how important it was to me (and on a day that not many garages are offering the full services!!!) They were a life saver - and I really appreciate all they did for me!!! They gave a fantastic and very reasonably priced service too! Definitely would use them again - hopefully I won’t be in quiet a pickle next time though!!! :)

Absolutely fantastic especially Tyler, we discovered a puncture at 5.45pm, after the car had been in a previous garage in the morning for an MOT/Service. He stayed on past closing to wait for us to get there only to discover the other garage had kept our wheel nuts (no idea why) he then waited for the Morons lol to turn up with them so he could replace the tyre. Not once did he complain, absolute credit to the company and will now be our main garage when needed. Thank you again Tyler

The manager, Paul, was extremely helpful and his supporting workmates were friendly and helpful too. I had 4 new tyres fitted and the work was finished in quick time and the whole job carried out professionally. The price charged was very competitive and I would not hesitate to recommend this establishment to anyone and would certainly use them again. Well done!

I booked online to change my tyre for 4pm Friday evening. I ended up waiting for one hour and 15 minutes for my turn. The team is friendly but their booking system is not good - lot of double bookings and it also appears they are under staffed.

Very happy with service - the guys are helpful and knowledgeable. Had to replace a tyre due to nail. They were the cheapest and it came with warranty. They took about 10 mins replace.

Very good professional & friendly service from the manager Paul & all the staff - no appointment booked yet seen & work done (puncture repair) in under an hour on a busy Friday lunchtime. Good price for repair, would certainly use again if the need arose & would have no problem recommending them to anyone else.

Car was booked in for 2 rear tyres and tracking, had a 45 minute wait but work was carried out to satisfaction. Coffee machine not working.

Great fast and friendly service. I called to check if they had my tyres in stock which they did. I arrived and had 2 new tyers, job done super quick. Thank you.
