Due to an upcoming long road trip I tried many air con repairers. Due to hot weather no one could help me as too busy. That is until I contacted Wrexham Tyres . Not only did they fit me in within the hour , but this was on a Sunday afternoon . Staff from receptionist to engineer very helpful and friendly. Reasonable cost and professionalism. Would definitely recommend this company and will use them again in the future.

I take my car here for my cars every need. The staff are friendly, the prices reasonable and they have a waiting room with sofas and a TV in it to watch while you wait. The vending machine was out of order. It's a busy place. I trust them.

Fitted me in at short notice when I was desperate for a new tyre on Christmas Eve, having suffered a puncture. Rang a couple of the National tyre chains first and both were hopeless. Wrexham Tyres were in a different league altogether. Friendly and keen to help. New tyre fitted quickly and without a fuss - and at a great price too. I recently went to a well known national chain outlet for my MOT and Air Con service. For those who like cryptic clues the garage was one from "Small Harry crosses a river without a bridge", Wrexham Tyres do not, at present, stock the R1234Y refrigerant that I needed so I took my car to this national chain garage. After 1 1/2 hours I received a phone call stating that my car had failed the MOT and the "necessary" and suggested repairs amounted to more than £1400. I was shocked and asked what works were required. I was told that The reasons for the MOT failure were given as a bulge in a front tyre and the rear brakes discs were corroded and had to be replaced. Having more than 50 years experience as a certificated Mechanical Engineer I checked the points for the failure. The front tyre did have a small bulge in the side wall but the rear discs were not showing the stated signs of significant corrosion or wear. The national garage quoted the following:- "Renew the rear brake pads £326.99" "Brake Fluid Change £39.99" "Renew both rear brake discs £377.16" "Overhaul both rear brake calipers £120.00" I have owned this car from new and have always had it serviced at Main Dealers and when it passed the 100,00 mile mark the Diesel Particulate Filter was changed and recharged at a cost of approximately £300 so I was very surprised when in addition to the other listed works there was also suggested the following~;- "Diesel Particle Filter Deep Clean treatment £85.00" "Fuel Service £35.00" "Diesel Particle Filter Maintenance Treatment £35.00" I decided that I would take my car home without having the aircon recharged at a cost £144.99. The National Garage advised me that it was illegal to drive the car on the public road with serious defects, almost insinuating that I should, at a minimum, have the tyre changed and the rear brake works carried out there. I declined this and removed my vehicle. I then wondered what the situation would have been for somebody who did not have the benefit of many years engineering experience, like my wife or daughters. Would they have felt the need to spend £1400 + for what may have been unnecessary repairs?? On my way home I phoned Wrexham Tyres, whom I have used before, to give me a guide price for renewing the rear brake discs and pads. The very polite lady said that she would call me back with the price. A short time later I received the call back and the price quoted was £199.95 which is hundreds of pounds cheaper that the national garage outlet!!!! On arriving home I thoroughly inspected the rear discs and although there was some wear evident, it was not, in my experienced opinion, sufficient to render the discs un-serviceable. I must point out that I was not trying to avoid replacing the discs if that was necessary but I did not wish to spend a lot of money of replacing perfectly serviceable items. I decided to go to Wrexham Tyres to ask their expert opinion on the state of the rear discs. Nic, the MOT Tester, was fantastic and very understanding. He offered to put my car on the ramp and take a look at the discs. He did this immediately and concluded that the discs although showing signs of wear (which is only to be expected on friction related items) they certainly did not need to be replaced at this time. Having previously changed the tyre with the slight bulge, I took my vehicle back to Wrexham Tyres the following day for MOT and it passed with the brake discs being noted as showing slight wear which should be monitored going forward. Additionally Wrexham Tyres advised me that shortly they will be having equipment to charge the R1234Y refrigerant so I will wait for that to be available and will, without any hesitation go straight to Wrexham Tyres for them to carry out the work. It is so refreshing to find a company such as Wrexham Tyres that put Customer service above profit hunting. They are Fair, Honest, Repuatble, Efficient, Professional and a pleasure to deal with and I could not praise them any higher.

Brilliant garage, my partner and I were visiting a cemetery near by when our car clutch failed, Wrexham tyres were the first people we rang and they advised us on how to get to the garage. Our car was looked at straight away and we got it booked in. The staff offered us a cup of coffee in a waiting room whilst we waited for my dad to come get us. I wasn't expecting the car back for 2 or 3 days but they had it ready with new clutch fitted the very next day. Thanks to all at the garage for a fast, friendly and efficient service. Never been here at all until today. Called up at 08:30am and spoke to a lady on the phone who was extremely helpful. I needed 2 new front tyres fitting and they were able to get me straight in no hassle. Arrived 1 hour later (9:30am) and 2 new tyres and the tracking & adjustment was checked as well for free! All works were completed by Jack (young lad) and I could hardly fault him, great work, would definitely use Wrexham Tyres and Garage Services again in the future. Thanks!

My Vauxhall insignia was booked in for a service and to check out a small leak in coolant needing topping up once a week. Problem was found to be a broken water pump seal and a housing above it. They fixed the problem but my car developed a weird sound so I took it back the same day. Guys from the garage took it out and couldn't quite hear the sound that I had picked up as it wasn't a bad sound, just different. I carried on driving it as normal for the next few days till when coming back from work when it felt like a different car. On return home the car would start and immediately shut down telling me to service vehicle. Garage was informed, they recovered it in 20 minutes and got to work diagnosing a faulty sensor which took 2 days, free of charge. Great service, thanks all

Took my car to Wrexham Tyres today for an MOT. The staff there were more than happy to help, very friendly and answered any queries that I had with regards to the advisories on the paperwork. The work that was done was exceptional, very budget friendly and I had my car back within a few hours. What more can I say ..... Excellent staff Very efficient Budget friendly And fast service too. Overall I have to give a 5 out of 5 on my review as there was nothing I could fault today with Wrexham Tyres. Highly recommend. Staff highly knowledgeable. In the past as a woman being stuck in a garage with a broken car I have felt talked down and treated badly but today I was treated professionally. My clutch went on my car. I googled garages and found this one. I phoned for a price which i was given over the phone. They collected my car in under an hour, free of charge and took it to their garage. They repaired my car quicker than they had stated and when i went to pick it up they had washed it too. Fantastic garage and staff! Last week my car failed its MOT at the main dealer in Chester they quoted £800 for the repairs. A friend advised me to get another quote at Wrexham Tyres. I can honestly say they were amazing! After an initial inspection, they told me the maximum the work would cost without charging, this was less than half the amount I had been originally quoted. Within 24 hours the MOT repairs were complete, they had done a summer vehicle check, completed a new MOT and fixed an additional leaking roof problem, all for £100 less than their original maximum quote. I cannot thank wrexham tyres enough for all their help. I was travelling up to Snowdon with my partner for a lovely break away when we broke down just outside Bala on a wednesday. The car was smokey as we realised that my clutch had burnt out. we called wrexham tyres to have the car towed immediately and the staff was amazing. they assured us they would look at the car first thing in the morning. These boys and girls did all they could and went that extra mile to repair my car which required a lot of work in 48hrs to get me back to London safely and promptly. They are professional and i felt like i was put first. I wish i had a decent garage like this where i live back home. This morning threw a curveball and i needed 2 new front tyres ASAP, i got a quote from Wrexham Tyres after some very high quotes elsewhere, popped in to discuss tyres (they are very thorough in their matching of tyres.) Tyres were ordered for me at approx 11am and by 1.45pm they had arrived and were fitted straight away! Absolutely brilliant service, staff super helpful from start to finish! I've been using Wrexham Tyres (WT) for over 15 years now, and they are the most honest and trustworthy family run garage you will find. From tyres, servicing and other car related issues they will try and find the most cost effective solution. The national chains all pay their staff based upon what earnings they can bring in - WT are not a like that - if your car only needs two tyres they won't try to sell you four, if you only need new brake pads they won't try to sell you discs as well. They will just say what needs doing and give you options which suit your budget best. A great team, carry on the good work. Martin H

I thank the service who helped me in a critical situation with the failure of the ignition coil on my vauxhall astra, and especially technician Phil Griffith for the kind service during the trouble Sunday, was 300km from home and 180km more to the target when other services were closed. This is a decent and swift company with reasonable prices and here's how I know. Some historic battle re-enactors had a massive blow out in their BMW outside my house, the tyre was shredded to bits. They'd drove it flat for a while as they hadn't realised it was flat due to the weight of all their costumes and weapons. They had no jack, wheel brace or spare wheel but plenty of swords and shields. It was gone 6 pm on a Friday evening but this place is open until 7 so I took pity on them and jacked the car up, got the wheel off and gave them a lift over to have a new tyre fitted before refitting it. The tyre cost £69 which I thought was pretty good given the size of it. They then drove off to camp in Rhuddlan castle ready to re-enact the siege of Rhuddlan castle on Saturday.
