I don't usually write reviews but after today's experience I felt compelled to do so. Customer service was second to none. Got booked in and sorted all within 2 hours. Fundamentally it was an honest appraisal and only necessary work carried out....not a hint of up selling.....which in this day and age from a corporate is REALLY REFRESHING and testament to the guys at Kwik Fit - The Mount, York. Would I go back....absolutely....would I recommend them....already have and will continue to do so as long as the team currently working there remain. If this isn't a benchmark/flagship branch for Kwik Fit at present it should be. The guys at this branch operated in a manner that I would consider to be "world class" in terms of service and honesty/integrity. That is an incredibly powerful combination for a sustainable business model be it in tough times or not. They're a credit to Kwik Fit and their knowledge and expertise should be utilised throughout the business. Thanks guys for a 'Proper Job'.

What a fantastic service. One blown tyre and 3 needed changing. It was 17.45 and I did not expect the car to be done until the morning. Paul (manager of Ripon branch who was working in York on Thursday) kindly offered to do the tyres there and then even though it meant having to stay until 18.30. Kwik Fit's great service meant I was able to travel with no disruption to work the following day. Price for four decent tyres was a very good price too. Highly recommended.

How wonderful! Panic over back tyres suddenly warning they were going down fast - phoned and told ‘just come in and we’ll have a look’ - lovely young man tested everything and found nothing wrong except sensitive computer (apparently concerned about the extra weight just leaving the car boot sale!) - pumped them all up to correct pressure and double checked all ok and we were safely back on the road - no charge - can’t thank enough xxx

I had a seriously blowing exhaust over the bank holiday so booked in online and dropped the car off Sunday obviously no parts supplier were open but they sourced the parts as early as possible Monday morning and had me back on the road a lot quicker than I had originally feared. The entire team I encountered on my 2 visits were welcoming, friendly and professional I have no issue fully recommending using Kwik fit on the Mount in York as the price was fair, I am sure if I shopped around I could of saved a couple of quid but for the time saved and piece of mind the 3 year guaranty provides I am more than happy to pay.

I came in this morning with a slow puncture and Matty assessed the situation quickly then replaced the tyre within 20 minutes of me arriving. The screws had punctured in 2 places and one could have been repaired but the other couldn't so it needed a new tyre. They checked my other rear tyre and it had plenty of tread so good for a while. Nice clean tidy environment and not intimidating as a woman either...good job guys keep it up !

Great service and the lady who took my call was very good. If she worked for me I would give her a bonus. The guy who fitted the tyres and exhaust is is also a good bloke and made sure everything was the best it could be. He needs a pay rise and the lady should also get a pay rise along with the bonus you will be giving her. I am sure people will keep coming back, especially when the customer service is that good. I must say the level of service is not normally this good in the uk. Keep up the great work you two and keep smiling 😊

I have just had an unexpected, very pleasant experience at Kwik Fit, The Mount, York, thanks to Ali and his team. I went in for a puncture repair on a tyre I only bought 3 months ago, which I fully expected to be told required a new tyre. I was delighted when they told me they could fix it. They also advised me that the rear tyres were very low on tread (0.4mm above the legal limit), which was something I was aware of already and because of their puncture repair honesty, I asked them to quote me for 2 new tyres. I had already searched for Pirelli Scorpion tyres (as they were on the front) and so I was delighted when they recommended those tyres rather than other branded tyres they had in stock. I was then given a price that was cheaper than the prices I had already researched and I am now booked in for to be fitted next week. If all that wasn't good enough, this was all done with exceptional customer service, with outstanding manners and just the right level of banter. You have made my weekend; thank you Ali and team.

Great service as ever from Kwik Fit. The repaired the puncture for £25 unlike many other places who would have decided that a brand new tyre was “essential”. Very friendly and completed the work quickly.

I needed new brake discs and pads quickly. Existing were quite badly worn especially on one side where they were making noises all the time. Tried my usual Saab dealer who was booked up for 10 days with MOT work. Kwik Fit were able to look at my car the following lunchtime and fitted the new parts the same afternoon. Impressed by speed of service and there staff were very helpful. Convenient location as only a short walk from central York, most reviews indicate this KwikFit is better than the other York one. Price seemed a bit high I thought (but perhaps there is going to be premium on fast service). Would have given 5* if the price had been a bit less.

Excellent service this morning Booked in for car tyre check online ahead of MOT and was greeted by someone who was expecting me - which is always a great start! Need tyres replacing, tyres were sourced, delivered, fitted and balanced in 90 minutes! Every step was explained and I was allowed to watch the tyre balancing on the screen! I learnt a lot and they found my locking nut key as well which I thought I had lost Would definitely recommend a trip to this Kwik Fit - I am booked in for an MOT at their Foss Islands site at the end of the month... hoping the service is as good!

I find it disappointing when you spend nearly £800 on 4 new tyres, yet the center won’t do a free wheel tracking. It was up on the ramp and the mechanic confirmed the tracking was off. Surely would have been better customer service to have just done it, and left me feeling very happy, rather than try and get an extra £60 from me!

Dropped in ad hoc with a problem. Staff there juggled parked cars around to accommodate me, and were looking under my car in 10 minutes. A major issue was prevented from a minor fault, and I wasn't even charged for their time. Fabulous service, which makes me a fan of Kwik Fit, and I will certainly return here for any future issue. I had say biggest thank you so much for man name is Steve! When I was with my mate go to McDonald’s so when my mate who drove Ford Fiesta and he have bumped lots of rock and we have 2 left tyre flat so we had take to garage asking have get new tyre and we can to leave car one hr when we going to McDonald’s and go to shop then we have back in then Steve have word with us something is not best say 2 wheels metal have bend and broke so we had shock we don’t know what it do. Car couldn’t move wheels is pretty bad breaking so my mate don’t know how he get new wheels so Steve told us have look online or eBay get new wheel that we are interested get new one and we have struggle of where car going do leave here or somewhere so Steve having leave car on garage keep it safe that we absolutely fantastic happy to hear.. 4 new wheels delivery to garage and Steve can sort it back on car for new wheels. Steve how was he so very kind man and we are so pleased about it

Nice friendly team, well organised and efficient. Place very clean and tidy. Very helpful, as one wheel had been severely overtightened in the past, (before I purchased the car), and was completely siezed-up. The locking wheel nut was unable to cope with the torque required, and sheared off. I was warned that this might happen, and had been invited back to watch how Kwik Fit approached the issue. Not their fault in any way. They referred me to a specialist engineering firm, who had to Mig weld a stub onto the sheared bolt. The engineers said it was the most difficult one they have dealt with. The Kwik Fit manager then rearranged the work programme to fit my car into their schedule, and were able to complete the tyre fitting with minimum delay. Altogether well handled, and I was kept well informed throughout. Very pleased.

Although not due to open till 10am my call was answered 9.50 and I was given an go an advice on how to get to the location. Met by the manager my problem was discussed and a solution found.
