G. T.Great service. Not from the area and had a slow puncture. Dropped in without even calling first and straight in for puncture repair, 25 mins and £22 later I’m back on the road. Friendly service too, would absolutely recommend.

I spoke to Jack on Friday afternoon and they fitted me in 2 hours later - what a service! My tyre had a slow puncture and they repaired it quickly and at a very cheap price. Such an honest, reliable company, I genuinely wouldn't go anywhere else. Jack and the team are super friendly and extremely knowledgeable. D. C.Could not recommend these guys more highly. I had a puncture and called them up to see if they offered a repair service and if they could fit me in the same day, which they confirmed they offered this service, and that they could fit me in right away. Drove down to their workshop where a technician was already waiting to assess the tyre.
Turned out the puncture had been caused by a screw that had punctured the side wall of the tyre, meaning it unfortunately couldn't be repaired, but the guys pulled a like for like replacement from their inventory and fitted it there and then whilst I waited.
All in, the whole process took 15 minutes from start to finish, and was completed for a very reasonable price. The team were very friendly and professional throughout, and I will definitely be using them again in the future.

n. n.I Needed 5 unusual sized tyres for an American truck. Having called around several tyre houses, found York Tyre Sales. Jack recommended the appropriate tyres and got them fitted ASAP. I realised I needed a battery and he ordered an (American style) one that came the next day. All in all, superb service, friendly people and great value. Highly recommended.

C. R.This is a small facility near the Cattle Market at Mutton dealing only in tyres & tracking. I went looking for a set of 4 tyres to be fitted as my MoT is due in 2 weeks. I had a friendly discussion with the staff & agreed a price which included complete fitting for the specific tyres I required which was better than Halfords & Kwik Fit. The job was finished under an hour & I was able to watch the work from a small waiting room which had seats for 4.

D. H.York Tyre Sales' prices are very good, but it is the way that they take care of their customers that sets them apart.
I have used Chris and Steve for tires for wife's car a few times and have always been extremely happy. But I was even more impressed when I needed tires for my Nissan Skyline with aftermarket wheels and a strange tire size. After Chris and I discussed exactly what I was looking for in a tire, he made a few recommendations that matched the research I had done, and was able to get the tires I wanted the next day at an amazing price. When I took the car in they meticulously mounted each tire, taking care to keep the wheels pristine. After mounting they gave me advice on tire pressures and torque settings for the wheel nuts, so I left more knowledgable than when I came in (needles to say, I'm a bit of a petrol head). They were even able to give me a few recommendations to get some other work I have been planning done. I'm extremely happy with the results and glad to have people I can trust the next time i need help. Oh yeah, and the prices are very good!

Very knowledgable offering great advice for my choice of tyre size and brand! Attention to detail was also fantastic fitting black wheel weights to blend in with my black wheels and fitting a short valve to as not to protrude from the wheel lip.
Add all of the above to two very friendly professionals and I cannot recommend this place enough! Will definitely be coming back in the future!

m. e.tucked away near murton, these guys know how to look after their customers! recently managed to assist me (again...) on the morning of the 27th April, I noticed that I had managed to damage the sidewall on one of my front tyres, looked around the "usual suspects" to see if anyone had stock, and no-one could help till the 1st may (a 5 day wait) which didn't help as I was going to be making a long motorway journey on the 28th. I messaged york tyres sales via their facebook page around 7:40 in the morning, I had got a reply by 10am to say they could get the tyre I needed by lunchtime and could fit me in early afternoon the same day! The price for the tyre was a couple of pounds more than the guys who I would have had to wait several days for, but the level of customer service I received more than made up for this. Definitely worth considering if you need new tyres, and you want to be looked after professionally and courteously by a team who know what they are doing.

I. I.A very good price on a full set of Bridgestone run-flats for my BMW. They use stick on balance weights (rather than the horrible ones that clip on to the wheel rim) and jacked up my car correctly. I'll use this place again.
