Awesome place to stay connected with smaller villages etc outside Bedford ... Special shout to the driver of the 28 out of Bedford at 1.11pm today 19/10/2022....he went above and beyond to help me to get to my destination 😎 cheers drive 👍

The bus station is full of information digitally. But if you want to speak to someone you have to bang loudly on the staff door. Not sure why they took out the customer service desk? Maybe there should be a conductor to direct questions to!

The bays are well-organised in alphabetical order, however, everything after letter 'K' is located on the other side of the road/platforms. A to K located inside and there are plenty of seats as well, but the rest is less covered, with less seats. There are some shops around the station and the centre is also just next to it, so plenty of places nearby where food or drink can be bought. The station is not too tidy, but looked after, therefore I give 4 stars. With a little bit of improvement (including departures and arrivals boards, cleanliness, toilets, bus bays, etc) it would well-deserve a higher rating.

Plenty of buses, stops and seems to be well organized though the area does need a well deserved clean up. It always looks dirty/unclean though the area is always busy. I'm sure whoever owns the station and the council could get together and spruce up that area. Crumbling roof bits dropping on customers is not great for publicity, especially on the bus exit side!!! I haven't seen any improvement in the 12 months I've been back & fourth from my home town. Such a shame as the high street and shopping precinct show's a vast improvement!!!

It's indoors. It has fairly clean toilets just round the corner. The displays are up to date. It's not glamorous, but there are much worse places to wait for a bus!

This bus station is ok ish. Sure, there's disabled access for wheelchairs & pushchairs + other mobility devices. Yet, it can get crowded during peak travel times with commuters & school children standing around & not moving when asked. There's some toilets in close proximity, yet they're not allways open, which can cause problems, if you're like me & have a weak bladder. It's surrounded by a selection off shops & cafes, so you'll be able to wait for your bus without too much boredom whilst you wait.

I've used the Park and Ride twice this week. The first time the carpark was almost empty, there was hardly anyone on the bus into Bedford and the windows were open. Today, more cars, the bus was full to capacity and all of the windows were closed. Ironically a sticker on each window says "This window cannot be closed" and that you are protecting passengers on their journey. Surely the wording should have been "must not" instead of "cannot", because someone has proved you wrong.

I like the stage coach service. Especially during this covid19 times there was a time when I forgot to wear masks I had to give them a good justifiable reason and at the end they let me in. I wasn't expecting that to happen because I thought actually they were gonna leave me outside until I find my way home. That's a good service I got. It doesn't happen in this country especially certain things giving me a blind eye or benefit of the doubt but I won't take it for granted, or do it on purpose for that, I promise. Another issue is, Anytime I ask for a "single ticket" I am constantly asked where precisely do I want to go, but I thought it didn't matter where I wanted to go, I just wanted a single ride. At the end of the day it's just one ride and then that's it. Why must I be questioned where I wanted to go to? I thought Single Ride, Day Ride, Weekly Ride are just options to choose to transport without being questioned but only when single ride is used they question me. One lady driver questioned me and could not remember her name asked me the place I wanted to go. It was out of my mind and didn't know the name. She was showing her emotions to me but I repeatedly asked for single ride and couldn't know which name I was going until at the end of the stop I asked her the name of this big roundabout called "Church Lane" near Poppyfields side at Elms Farm 5. Anyway the rest of the service is good. I like the service.

It's alright, would be nicer if all of the automated doors worked, if it was actually closed off instead of being forever open to the elements, and if there was heating in the winter as it gets very chilly. There are screens that show when the next bus is going to arrive, and do an alright job of guessing if the bus is going to be late or not (a frequent occurrence on some of the less frequent busses like the 41). There are public toilets just round the corner which are convenient, but you have to go outside to get to them. Nearby there's also a Gregg's and a Subway if you want a quick bite, and the location is brilliant for shopping trips as it is fairly central.

Great service but unfortunately they have reduced the level of distancing. Everywhere in the bus station they say keep 2mts apart but on the buses no restrictions are are evident.

Not enough seats and no queuing system. In fact there is no system. Long queues and people trying to walk through. No access for queries. No lost property office. Maybe not the worst Bus Station but pretty awful.

They have some of the best drivers and coaches in the country.X4 and X5 which I use on a weekly basis its such a change to get drivers who have passenger consideration at the forefront of their minds. . They do not go racing up to traffic lights or roundabouts and then slam their brakes on as many other company bus drivers do. The brand new leather seated Volvo coaches have excellent suspension which is needed on the poorly maintained Northamptonshire and Buckinhamshire pothole riddled roads. The difference with the old buses is enormous these new buses are luxurious and considering they cost over £300,000 it is not surprising. When travelling the same routs on the older buses which have very bad suspension and unsmooth braking systems, you feel shaken up after the bumpy road journeys, but on an X4 or X5 you wont notice the very poorly maintained road surfaces.

I personally don't like the new bus station it's not warm and inviting. And where I have to wait for the bus is outside although a bus shelter not a good design for stopping the rain & the cold!
