Highly recommend Allen’s Giants Causeway day tour from Belfast! Spent a wonderful day learning about Northern Ireland and visiting some seriously impressive locations! Our driver Lindsey was enthusiastic, funny, informative and very helpful. This tour went to all the same places as their competitors and were a third of the cost. Vegan options at lunch stop😁

Allen's have the best Causeway tours from Belfast, a really wonderful day out with entertaining drivers, interesting stops, and it's fantastic value for money! So good that I've been 3 times now! 😂

I paid £20 for a one day (9am - 5 pm) bus tour to giant causeway and needless to say I spent one of the greatest adventure with this trip. We stopped at carrickfergus castle, rope bridges, giant causeway (greyjoy's ironborne from game of thrones), and dark hedges.
The driver/guide is very funny and friendly as many as Irish people I met in Ireland. He shared some tips about what to do and what to avoid, even some historical story of what happens during the troubles era in northern Ireland. At the end of the trip he said to share good news if we all satisfied and I hope this review can give a boost to your business.
Cheers.

I’m from California and Lindsey is the best tour guide I’ve ever had. I left with so much knowledge about Ireland and the tour, also had an amazing time in the process.I will definitely go back again! Highly recommend!!

My husband and went on the Giant Causeway tour yesterday with Lyndsey as our guide, he was fantastic and very knowledgeable 10/10. There were a couple of other guests who didn’t seem to be able to follow simple instructions! But a brilliant although tiring day. Would definitely recommend

Went on the bus tour on Friday and can't recommend enough! Our driver Lindsey kept us entertained all day with his great sense of humour and knowlegable facts about Belfast and Northern Ireland. Great value for money! *****

Lindsay was the best tour guide. Had a good time and the tour experience was extraordinary. I was impressed by the knowledge of the tour guide as we drove along some of the most fabulous coastal route I have ever been on. I would recommend this tour with this company for anyone visiting belfast.

Gary spoke to us and told us about the tour. He was great. We went with Allen's Tours to The Giant's Causeway. Lindsey was our guide and driver. He was fun and informative. What a great day!

I had a great tour with our operator Ben. Omg he was amazing, made the tour more enjoyable with his Irish jokes. His advice was spot on, whiskey coffee and Guinness bread was delicious as he said. Would definitely recommend Allen Tours, Belfast and Ben as your tour guide.

The guide explained the best of each place we visited or passed through. Personally, I liked the humour he added to some of the stories. It was correct and no offensive, which is a plus when referring to guides.
Being a student, the price was quite reasonable, which also helped to decide what to choose.
Overall, the tour was very good.

We have a wonderful trip to the Giants Causeway last Friday. I would like to say a special thank you to Lynsey out tour guide/driver who kept us all very well entertained all day and who made the trip really memorable and was very helpful. I would definitely recommend the trip and look forward to going again.

I am in Giant Causeway Tour now but was extremely sad and frustrated having been offered two seats for me and my wife in the midsection of the bus with no views at all and hardly audible narrative .....no doubt the driver was very polite and nice in breaking the bad news for me just before boarding the bus....I would have been happier if this was informed while we booked the tickets so that we could have opted for an alternative tour organizer....a little insensitive approach....for tourist's coming from overseas (travelling few thousand kilometers) this is once in lifetime experience...for people living nearby can revisit....even if it did cost more it would have been worth for us to look for an alternative....it had been a waste of money and time which probably could have been utilized in visiting some other tourist spot....in my opinion the organizers should not sell these seats not being able to provide what the trip is meant for....however all is well that ends well...our driver wss such a gentle hearted person that when the bus stopped for a break he put extra effort to request other passengers to make alterations in their seating so me and my wife could get a proper seating which he succeeded to achieve...such a kind gesture from our driver....

Fabulous tour to the Causeway and Northern Islands scenic coastline. Our guide and driver Lindsey was simply the best. Worth every pound!

The Bus was not how I pictured small but we were a Good group and our Driver was Brilliant. You cannot get better value for money. Booking was Easy Tiina was great as was all staff from this tour and here I share my pics. A lot is not operating due to Corona Virus but you cannot place a price on the Views you will get regardless of Weather. Have this on your tour list and help this company as they're really worth it. Had a great time and Marty was an excellent driver and guide.

The highlight of our trip to Belfast was the Allen's Tours trip to Giants Causeway. The scenery through County Antrim is so beautiful its difficult to describe with the amazing phenomenon of the Giants Causeway at the end. The coastal route on the way back was simply stunning. Our driver Lindsay added so much to the experience with his depth of knowledge from historical right up to present day. Also he didn't rush us or bombard us with too much chatter & seemed to have a genuine love for the area. Once is not enough for a trip like this so we plan to return next Spring.
i.
got my ticket very last minute (without groupon) for £12.50 which was a very good deal. did an ulster tour that was guided by Lindsay who was super enthusiastic, funny and well knowledgable. The bus/coach was clean. I went on a cloudy, rainy day and Lindsay was still able to brighten up the day. definitely a day to remember :)

The driver and guide were awesome. Really enjoyed, worth the money. Better than the other tours who were charging a lot of money.
Z. K.
Loved it. The guide took us to dome great places, told great stories, very friendly and informative.

I was a local taking a day off from driving .
Super day

We went on a tour to the Giants causeway. Great tour at a reasonable price and the driver/guide Phil was brilliant
A. R. D.
Tour was really good. Our driver Lindsay is very active, helpful and approachable. Keep up the good work guys. Learned some words from them as well. Well done

I booked a tour today and it was one of the best experiences I've ever had! The bus driver was very friendly & professional, he made our tour more interesting. The experience was superb, best view , the weather was good to us. Highly recommended. A big thank you from a beautiful Filipina...
M. S.
Phil, the driver and tour guide, was enormously enthusiastic, helpful, and knowledgeable. The trip to Giants Causeway stopped at a number of interesting parts of N.I. along the way. Get yourself a Black Pudding Sausage Roll at the Spa Shop at Carnlough...an exquisite delicacy, the likes of which are seldom encountered, even in the finest of restaurants, anywhere in the world.
All in all, great value for money..well done Phil and Allen's Belfast Bus Tour.

Great tour with them to Giant's Causeway. The driver was very good, explaining all thing and very gentle.

My housemate went on the tour, but I dealt with the company on his behalf, so this is somewhat of a joint review based on what he told me, and my dealings with them.
My housemate said the tour was amazing, he loved it. He met other people from his country on the tour, and had a fantastic time seeing all the sights that the north of Ireland has to offer.
The tour was 8 hours long, and involved multiple stops across the province of Ulster.
We booked a groupon ticket together hoping to be able to go on Thursday the 24th, but there will be no tour. Considering my housemate is going home to India before the next lockdown will end, we thought it best that he go alone on the last available tour, which was today, Sunday the 20th.
Even though the ticket was a 2 person ticket, they’ve said they’ll split the booking so that I can use the ticket when we come out of lockdown. I told them it wouldn’t be necessary, as it was my mistake, but they’ve insisted. I found this to be a very nice gesture considering the times we’re in, with businesses struggling, and they’re looking at being out of business for several months ahead. No other tour operator would make that gesture at the best of times!
Although 24 hours notice was also required for booking, they allowed my housemate on the tour with less than 24 hours at no additional cost (I’m sure this was because they had availability, so don’t expect it as standard during the high season!)
I will definitely tell all my friends and family to use this tour provider when they come to visit Belfast in 2021 and beyond. I look forward to taking the tour myself when the lockdown has ended.

Phil was our driver and to say that he was simply spectacular does not do him justice! We could not have been happier with the experience he gave us! The country side was breathtaking and Phil was knowledgeable, passionate, and funny. If I could do this tour all over again I would. It was extremely affordable, and enjoyable! We got beautiful pictures, and even when we got down poured on at the Giants Causeway, it could not dampen our spirits! I would recommend this tour to anyone and everyone!
**Side note: There is a lot of hiking at each location to get the best pictures. You get to explore on your own. If you are not in a good condition to walk stairs and hike, do not try to walk the rope bridge. You can still go and view the beautiful sites without walking the bridge, but it was really cool to see all the different birds nesting!
M. H.
Great value for money. Friendly staff. Shame rope bridge and Castle were closed though. Only gave 4 stars as the bus driver was a little too fast for my liking.

A Very FulPHILing Tour Experience...
Sorry, that title is almost as bad as one of the jokes told by Phil, the tour guide/driver. However, don’t let the dad jokes put you off, Allen’s Tours’ Giant’s Causeway trip comes highly recommended. Phil was a knowledgable guide and provided a good mix of history, local knowledge, facts and fairy tales. The tour itself takes you to some stunning locations including dramatic coastlines, Game of Thrones filming locations, castles steeped in history and of course, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
This trip is great value for money, you won’t be disappointed.

We hired a private minivan for our day in Belfast. Our driver/guide was Martin and he made it a remarkable day! He took us on a tour in Belfast, focusing on the murals, peace wall and giving us so much useful information. Then to Giant's Causeway and a stop in a distillery. Martin is a very good driver, very enjoyable and kind, and a source of news and information on Ulster and Ireland. Highly recommended!
R. R.
Loved the trip. The driver was a good story teller. He added an additional stop and so we were able to take pictures in Ballintoy Harbour. Totally worth the stop and not on the initial itinerary. Only downside were the seats in the bus. We had the small bus, we were full and it was a little cramped. The bigger coaches might be more comfy.
J. C.
What a fantastic day out with driver lynsey who drove us to a variety of beauty spots and gave us lots of information on route about this amazing land. Excellent value!

After reading an assortment of mixed reviews, it was far to say that we approached our day apprehensively but with an open mind. We booked the tour the night before using the company’s website. Booking was easy and hassle free.
The ladies in the tour office were polite, friendly and efficient. Our driver, Rodney, also displayed these qualities. Despite what he says, no one calls him Dave. This theory was tested by a friendly Australian electrician on our tour.
The bus was freshly cleaned and the seats were comfortable. If you suffer from travel sickness then sit close to the front. We sat on the very back row and let’s just say, turbulence was an issue on the return journey. If you are a women considering sitting on the back row or towards the back of the bus, then I would recommend wearing a high impact sports bra. You can thank me later.
Rodney provided an insightfully and comedic commentary to the tour and gave information on both the surrounding areas and the stops themselves. These included fun facts, anecdotes and legends. He was fair in dealing with late comers and endorsed a public shaming from those members of the tour who could tell the time and both read his large whiteboard and listen carefully to his departure times. Rodney disclosed to us and the friendly Australian that “if yer late and tek the piss al leave ya behind” was his policy for latecomers. If you are the sort of person who can’t keep to time deadlines then don’t go on a tour like this because quite frankly you are rude and your fellow touring passengers shouldn’t have to waste their time waiting for your rude self.
The stops on the tour were very enjoyable. We were given fair and ample time to explore all the places we wanted and in a good depth. Whilst it did seem a little odd to stop so early in the tour, I understand the first stop as you can buy tickets for the rope bridge and a walking tour of the Giants Causeway here. This does help you skip the queues and is worthwhile if it’s something you are interested in. Also if you remotely need the toilet then you should go then because you’ll be on a long bus ride for the next hour surrounded by the lapping waves of the coastal road. Do look out for seals but don’t confuse them with a fishing buoy.
Overall I would recommend Allen’s Tours. It was a fair price for the adventure we had.

I've been on a few tours with another company and chose this one this time due to cost. They were 10£ cheaper per person than my usual choice and when you are buying 4 tickets it's a significant saving.
I emailed the company before going to Belfast in the hope of sitting near the front as it's better for me with vertigo and was told to arrive early which I did. I was told I was too early but I could sit near the front. When I came back 15 mins later there was no seats at the front. I went back into the office and the girl told me to ask other passengers to move! Clearly I was not going to do this.
The bus was old and very long having 2 sections. It smelt of fumes from the fuel. The driver was ok in explaining stuff but to be a Game of Thrones tour we only stopped at the dark hedges. The rest was " if you look to your right, way down there is where......" but you couldn't see anything.
When I return with other family/friends I will not use this company. In my opinion paying 10 £ more gets you a better coach and a professional trip.
H. M.
The tour was good. The driver was very knowledgeable although I felt he drove too fast at times. The coach was terrible. It was an old green Mercedes bus with seats not wide enough to accommodate anyone other than a very skinny person. The passenger on the outside was hanging off the seat. This made for a very uncomfortable trip.
S. L.
Friendly driver full of information & facts. A long day on the coach. Highlight being Giants Causeway & Carrick a reed rope bridge although not for the feint hearted. The stop offs felt a bit rushed due to timings & large coach parties everywhere. A great trip to see the stunning Northern Ireland coastline. Also saw some Game of Thrones filming sites in passing. Disappointed we passed some small towns & didn't stop would have liked to have looked around & supported the local economy by using the independent shops rather than the sainsbury's 1st stop in, reasoning being it had a cash point & toilet.
Great value & easily booked on line

I had a very enjoyable day on Allen tours. It was a beautiful clear day and we were shown lots if historical sites on the way to the giants causeway. Very nice driver Phil from Liverpool too. Would highly recommend them.
L. F.
I cannot say that I like all tour. The first part till 2pm is driving too long to see mostly very little and the road is very bad. Even we could come to Giants c. faster we went all the way by the coast that was very tiring and didn't see much. Giants c. was good, all as expected. We stayed there according yo a plan. But during the trip we were all the time waiting for late people so we didn't see the last planed forrest as it was already too late in the afternoon and too dark. Guide could solve that as in my other tour people were not late only because of guide who did a lot of attention to organizing things better.
Guide was talking mostly to fulfill the form, he was very quite and talking witout any interest. We were on time at the way back.
L.
The drive itself to the Giants Causeway was okay but spoilt by the transport and the lunch stop. The long bendy bus was like being in a towed trailer if you were on the back half.. Bumpy with several saying they felt sick as we swayed round the bendy narrow roads. Most unsuitable, too many people , the equivalent of two coaches.and feeling far from the driver .The lunch stop at a cafe was not special and at 2.45 was too late for many.
The guided walk by a local guide,an extra 9£ down to the Causeway was interesting .
J. P.
You'll really get a sense of the local humour on one of their tours. Definitely not bland or corporate like some tour buses ive been on. It's easily the best way to see as much as possible up the coast if you only have a few hours and great for local knowledge and tips for where to go. Be aware though that by its nature it's a whistle stop a tour and you won't have much time to explore any of the sites as they do pack a lot in but the other compromise would be seeing far fewer places. I've been to all the places they stop independently of the tour and honestly the time is probably about right and the places they skip over are best for a distance on a one day excursion- obviously worth exploring if you have more time and if you took a hire car but I would say the one big advantage with the bus over a car is you actually see more of the coast as you are higher up- in a car you often can't see the sea due to the sea wall on the coast road.
When you get there the Causeway is free. The NT visitor centre is only worth doing if you like visitor centres. There is no info there you couldn't find for free on google and it is incredibly dull for kids( the centre not the causeway itself). Lastly I'd advise to take warm and wet weather gear with you-the causeway is fairly remote and exposed.

PERFECT ! My husband and I were in Belfast in June 2016 and we had a tour of Belfast in a bus (the coast). We have great memories of that trip ! 😊
M. o.
Chi sold us the tickets, met gary the next day ( I had read bad reviews) gary assured us that all would be ok . It was a great trip Marty the driver was very informative and the whole day was timed well. Great tour would definitely recommend it
P. S.
Completed giant causeway day family bus trip with help of guide/driver Terren, it was awesome and very economical.
R. R.
I had a great time on the tour and our guide was very helpful for all of it. Got to see some great sights even with the slightly gloomy weather and our guide kept us entertained with useful tidbits and bad jokes all throughout
M. E.
Great price, good guide. Coach was a little worn. Only complaint was othet passengers not returning to the coach on time to leave, leaving us short of time at the next place and later on having an attraction completely missed out.
m. s.
The tour was conducted well although we hardly got time at the causeway. The distillery visit was pointless. We couldn't go on the guided tour as we halted at the place just for 20 minutes.
G. C.
This tour was exactly that was described in the advertisement. Phil our driver was very knowledgeable and a great person. Our family of 4 really enjoyed it . I would recommend to anyone for the price they charge.
Great way to see some of northern Ireland's tourist attractions.
Thank you Phil
M. B.
Very friendly and welcoming driver with excellent knowledge of the local area. Had adequate time at each stop, wasn't rushed but equally didn't have to hang around. Overall great experience and brilliant price too, would recommend to anyone visiting Belfast who wants to visit must see places!

Had a lovely day out. The driver Phil was very entertaining and knowledgeable. Well worth the money
E. G.
The bus rattled, the driver left the microphone on the entire time and the seat rows were so close together that my legs physically didn't fit. I'm 6'1".
s. p.
best pickup pickup point is from there office. Else requires lots of coordination with agents. Rest driver-cum guide is okish.
J. c.
Cheap tours, sadly the bus was freezing, tour guide knew the names of the places and a bit about one or two of the places we went past, but didn't have much info on any of the stops

We were on the Giants Causeway Tour. The tour otself was very good, stunning scenery on the coastal route there. If you don't want to be ripped off for lunch take your own. The transport was rubbish. We were sold the Tour as a luxury coach, in reality we were put on a school minibus with very small seats and limited leg room - not room to put your legs out in front of you. Wouldn't go with this company if booking again, they are more interested in making money than providing a good service!
K. K.
The tour was perfect and our guide Lindsey was great! We enjoyed everything very much, thank you for everything!

(Translated) It is a must if you are in Ireland. The views are stunning and the rock formation resulting from lava cooling is unique in the world. Besides that the drivers act as tour guides and are very funny, you can enjoy from beginning to end
