D. t.A truly fascinating tour with a charismatic and friendly guide. He may have genuinely tried to give an unbiased view but a very one sided view nonetheless. As long as you are willing to listen and appreciate there is an opposing view and account of the political history in Northern Ireland then it is a fascinating insight into modern day life in Northern Ireland which is not one that is widely understood in the rest of the UK. I had no idea how divided NI is and no matter if you believe what you are told you can see for yourself the physical impact of the troubles that exists today. Our guide went above and beyond in terms of the time given to us and answering the many many questions that we had for him clearly trying hard to give an honest and unbiased account but with an amazing personal history it will always be difficult to be impartial.

Sad to see a wall in our Europe to divide people of different faiths....Instructive and worth doing. Whether you are doing the game of thrones trail, the political tour, and simply visiting bushmill's, Gerard is the best choice to be your tour guide. V. H.My friend and I had the pleasure to go with William on a 1.5 hour taxi tour in Belfast. We learnt lots about Northern Ireland’s and Belfast’s past, the troubles and the many related and relevant sights. William did a great job in sharing both the protestants and catholics perspective and provided us with relevant context to get the bigger picture. William is an experienced and entertaining guide so time just flew by. Highly recommend and though more expensive than the hop on and off bus tour, it is great value for money. Truly a great way to experience the city and its notorious past.
