We did the Giants Causeway tour with Stewart!! His knowledge was unbelievable. He kept things light and humorous. The castles, the dark hedges, the caves, etc were beautiful but lost in me as not a Game of Thrones person, but the still enjoyable and offered interesting insight from our guide.
The causeway blew us away!! The sunshine and the beautiful blue sea as a backdrop to one of nature’s breathtaking natural wonders!! Topped off with the dolphins playing and also enjoying the sunshine!!
A truest magical experience and one I will remember for ever!!

We had a great time on this tour. We managed to fit so much into the day without it feeling rushed. If you like Game of Thrones, you'll be beside yourself at all the filming locations, but even if you haven't seen the series - you'll still love the breathtaking scenery.
George the driver and Patrick the tour guide were both really nice and good fun. Would definitely recommend this if you want to see more of Northern Ireland while you're staying in Belfast.

Really had a nice experience for the day trip. If any body want to visit NI within a short time these day trips are the best option. Our tour guide was Lisa and she explained everything very well. It was feeling like watching a movie, listening to her stories and enjoying the views all together. Our driver Paddy is also very experienced. His driving skill in the narrow road is mind blowing.

Tour was lovely. Stuart was a fantastic tour guide, very knowledgeable and funny. 2 stops were closed due to Covid, but Stuart made sure to make extra stops to make up for it. It was a combination of the Giant's Causeway tour and Game of Thrones tour. Perfect day! Thanks again Stuart!

We booked a tour last minute after travelling from Limerick as we wanted to hear more about the history of Belfast. Our tour guide was Amanda and she was great, the tour was full of humour while also full of humour!
Our second tour guide was from one of the Belfast tour buses and she was wonderful! Her names was Lisa (or Liza) We joined half way through yet still got the benefit of her great jokes and sense of Belfast’s history from a Belfast native, great all round!
We where able to join any hop on hop off tour companies bus with tickets from this company - this made it handy as we just jumped on the first bus that came when we had hopped off.

Great tour to the Causeway and various GoT spots. Ideal timings, never on coach for too long, and enough time to have an explore of all areas.
Very knowledgeable guide, Amanda, and skilful driver, Neil, on some twisty, narrow coastal roads.
Also, at £35, very good value for a whole 9.5 hour day out.
Simple booking online and easy to find in the city.
Cheers for a great day 😀

We had an amazing day yesterday! We did the giant's causeway + Game of Thrones filming locations tour. Great day, beautiful scenery and the guide (Amanda) and the driver (Nick) were super friendly and professional. We enjoyed hearing all the different stories and myths and we really appreciated the view back to Belfast via the coastal route. I'd 100% recommend this tour, well worth the money. Thank you!

Really surprised and amazed at the amount of information and occasional comic relief that could be crammed into a 75-90 minute tour. Fascinating and thought provoking. My first experience of Belfast. Used to get an overview of the city. Now need to return visit for a longer time. Your driver/guide Alan did a fantastic job for the company and myself.

We had a wonderful experience! Great guide, even charmed us all with a lively song. Best hop-on hop-off tour we've had so far on our travels.
K. W.
What a wonderful day on the Giants Causeway tour. A side trip to the Dark Hedges of GOT fame too. The weather could not have been better! So blessed.
Leeza our guide and Andrew our driver were the best. So knowledgeable and professional. Highly recommend any tour they might do, especially this one.
S. F.
Really brilliant tour. Both my toddler and I really enjoyed sitting on the open top of the bus esp with the good weather. I would recommend this for both locals and tourists. Guide was also entertaining. The only issue was we were not sure when the bus was going to take off from city centre and ended up waiting nearly 40mins.
K. S.
Great day, Stuart our driver was funny and informative. I wouldn't recommend the tour I would insist on going on it. So many great places to stop on tour. The weather was great which helps of course. Only downside is when the Bushmills distillery open, the tour will change to accommodate that and split the game of thrones stuff off which would be a shame. Great tour, great guide, great day would go again.
B. O.
Taking this tour was a fantastic decision. Driving a coach along long stretches of the twisting coastal road requires incredible skill. So does having hours of engaging and entertaining tour lecture. Watching Stuart do both at the same time so masterfully was amazing. We had a great time and learned so much.
J. W.
This tour exceeded my expectations. I have been on a number of tour busses but this was by far the best. You got to see all of the usual fun tourist attractions but you also get to see the serious side of Belfast and how this still affects people still today.
A very moving and eye opening tour.
C. M.
The tours were good and the guides very knowledgeable. Only one piece of feedback would be that it was the belfast marathon when we were there and it would have been good if an email could have been issued to advise of change in timetable for that day given we had booked for that day. As it was we walked out to Titanic quarter and were able to pick a bus up there later.
As a bonus though the routes were different both days because of road closures and so we got to see a bit more of the city!
C. A.
It was a brilliant day. Everything ran to plan yet we never felt rushed. Amanda was an excellent guide - she gave exactly the right amount of information. We loved the music playing as we drove along the coast. Thoroughly recommend this tour!
N. R.
Fantastic tour, very well organised and a pleasure to be on. The driver Stuart was a mine of information and looked after us completely throughout the day. We saw some beautiful sights and were very comfortable on the coach. Would recommend entirely.
D. w.
Excellent tour! Really good value. Stuart the driver was amazing- brilliant commentary and information throughout the tour, and loads of stories and jokes!!
Giant's causeway was awesome.
Highlight was waving to Stuart's granny!!
Highly recommended.

Great tour and Stuart the coach driver and guide was excellent. Got to see so much of the Antrim coastline which is stunning. Good mix of game of thrones and coast. I can highly recommend this trip and hope you are lucky enough to get Stuart as your driver
C. A.
This was a very good tour, very organized and many great stops with adequate time at the stops. The tour guide was knowledgeable and the stops for lunch were great. We would recommend this tour to anyone wanting to see the beautiful northern Ireland coast.
R. B.
The Giant's causeway tour was the highlight of the trip to NI. Our driver/guide, Stuart, was very informative, helpful and funny and made the travel there almost as good as the Causeway itself. The Antrim coast road is stunning and passes through some amazing places. we will definitely be back
R. S.
Great tour. Lively chatty and knowledgeable driver/guide (our own Lord Varys). However, due to Covid and construction, some sites were closed - a shame. Also it is advisable to make the Causeway ticket an option, one might just want to visit the site without paying a considerable £13 for the visitor centre.
N. F.
A fantastic experience with our lovely driver Kevin. He made sure to point out the best photo spots and gave us recommendations of where to eat and drink afterwards which were spot on. I would definitely recommend doing the Cab tour!
S. B.
Done lots of these tours across many countries, to varying degrees of success- this was brilliant, our Guide, Paul, was informative, friendly and very very funny. Exactly what you would want for a whistle-stop tour of the city in general. Good route around city centre for jumping on/off and using as transport beyond the tour itself.
S. N.
Great experience with an extremely friendly, interesting and entertaining guide (Brian English) the system works really well, giving us time to hop off and on where we wanted to. All staff were very friendly and helpful - all in all fantastic! Recommend for a good overview of Belfast.
S. G.
Great tour - our driver Allen and guide Gavin were both great. Both participated in making us feel very welcome and comfortable. Loved the knowledge shared and the humor it was presented with - bravo!
K. G.
Everything went out smooth and fun. The bus driver was jolly. Our lunch was great. The whole trip was amazing. If you guys want to book a tour, i highly recommend CITY TOURS BELFAST.
a. B.
Enjoyed the tour immensely. The driver was good fun and extremely knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend as it's a great way to learn more about the history of Belfast

Did the Giants Causeway tour with Stuart who was both a brilliant driver and guide, very knowledgeable and entertaining, making sure that a great day was had! A lot is squeezed into a relatively short time, but as others have said, you don't feel rushed. Lunch at the Fullerton Arms in Ballycastle was the only hiccup, it seemed like they were lacking the staff to deal with the influx of multiple coach loads of people, but perhaps we just caught them on a bad day.
S. W.
The day was great, wonderful guide and excellent driver. However, Fullerton Arms, need to realise this is 2022 staff serving food were like robots, also put into a refrectory type room, when the bar restaurant area was available and looked very inviting with some atmosphere, unless you went through to the toilets you missed the Game of Thrones chair. Too short a time at Bushmills, having to queue for whiskey tasting, literally had 6 minutes to down it! We did enjoy the day and had fun along the way. The above comments you may find as negative, but are given in the light that Belfast is gearing up for more and more tourists, so these things will make a difference to their experience.
D. S.
We recently attended a tour to the giants causeway - frequent stops, lots of stunning locations, friendly & knowledgeable tour guide, lots of interesting information about the locations visited - our driver/tour guide Stuart was fantastic. Lots of photos opportunities & a great way to get out of the city for the day to see the beauty of the countryside!
D. M.
Had two great experiences with this company this week. Firstly, we did the city tour with Paul and Ian, which was fantastic. Really humorous and informative commentary along with a bit of a sing song. We also used this company to do a day tour to The Giant’s Causeway with several stops including the Dark Hedges. Amanda was very knowledgable and Fabricio did an amazing job navigating the sometimes tricky roads along the Antrim Coast. Highly recommend this company to anyone visiting Belfast!
s. w.
Had a good time on the the tour. Our tour guide, Liam, was spot on. Knowledgeable about the troubles and was happy to answer any questions we had. I would recommend the tour to anybody, it does give you an insight into the troubles and leaves you wanting to do more research about the troubles in general
A. C.
We had Stuart as our driver. Had a great day. Stuart is a fab story teller and made the day so much fun. Super amazing scenery and totally worth the money. highly recommended 😻
S.
Stuart our tour guide was absolutely fantastic. We had a great day. So many stops were fit into one day it was incredible. Thank you so much for an amazing day.
J. C.
Our cab driver, Peter, provided an extraordinarily thorough narrative on the Troubles. It what as an American I most wanted to understand. I felt he was balanced and fair, without diminishing the challenges involved. He speaks to mind, heart, and spirit. Thank you, Peter!
J. B.
Complete tour of Belfast with at least 20 stops. We always like to do this shortly after we arrive in a city as it gives us a quick overview of what to visit.
The full loop takes between 1 and 1.5 hours.
M. B.
Went on the Giants Causeway tour. Guide very knowledgeable. Enjoyed the game of thrones dark hedges and the Causeway the best. Scenery spectacular. Would recommend this tour.
S. J.
Fantastic tour, Stuart was an excellent host with a wealth of knowledge and kept us well entertained throughout the day. The Causeway was amazing, particularly in the sunshine!

Go! Just go! This is the authentic "tell it like it is"... and like it was - Belfast bus tour. It was a cool day, but I still immensely enjoyed the open upper deck. A history lesson packaged so well. On time and affordable, too!
T. F.
Did this tour 3 years ago and again yesterday.
Very interesting and entertaining commentary by the driver.
Was a lovely sunny day so sat up top on the open bus was a bonus...

Fab tour , not stuck on a bus for mile after mile plenty of stops . Our tour guide Stuart was very good new his stuff and made the tour interesting and enjoyable 5 ⭐️
E. M.
What a fantastic day we had on the Game of Thrones and Giants Causway tour. Stuart was hilariously funny and brilliantly factual (and a safe and reliable driver).

Very good day out!!
We arrived at the designated start point on time and ready to go. We found this part a little confusing as there were a number of buses arriving, however each coach had a different representative. To find our bus we had to go down the line and ask each one, turned out we were on the middle minibus, However there where 3 buses leaving that day with the same company, Very popular tour.
Our tour guide was very good, explaining interesting facts about Northern Ireland, it's history and of course Game of Thrones. I really appreciate the fun that the guide bought with her. We were also lucky enough to see a new location that has yet to be aired in the new game of thrones season!! Along the coast we saw a few dolphin pods which was pretty magical.
We stopped at a number of locations including;
- Carrickfergus Castle
- Cairnlough
- Cushenden Caves
- Carrick-a-rede rope bridge and larrybane (we did larrybane)
- Giant's Causeway.
- The Dark Hedges.
We went past the following/viewed from the coach:
- Belfast Castle.
- Debrovnik.
- Magheramorne Quarry.
- Glenarm castle and Toll Bridge.
- Mountains where Dothraki hoard capture Daenarys.
- Berric Dondarrion Camp.
- Waterfoot.
- Glenn.
- Loughareema.
- Ballycastle.
- Fairhead i.e. dragonstone.
The tour had a fairly tight schedule which worked for us as this meant we could spend two hours at the Giant's Causeway. We were able to get refreshment and use the toilets in a few locations, this was good enough for us. The minibus was spacious & comfortable.
We loved the dark hedges location and really got involved trying on costumes and doing silly poses. The costumes included some authentic unsullied helmets. The costumes were great made for alot of fun and great pics, the cloak was too long for me and this mean I was too worried about getting the hem dirty (although I tried my best not to).
Overall, a great experience - bring a coat! We found that it was sunny in Belfast but turned colder in the hills with a lot of fog.
Stones & Thrones Rocksssss

It's always a gamble when you're traveling to another country and signing up for experiences led by a tour guide. No matter how great the reviews are, there's always a risk that it doesn't turn out the way you expected. In the case of the trip offered by Stones And Thrones Tours, my expectations were far exceeded -- with generosity, warmth and humor.
Our host Patrick has paid more than his fair share of dues as a prominently featured Wildling extra in multiple seasons -- with the amazing photos to prove it. The on-set storytelling alone was worth the trip, and I know we barely scratched the surface of what he could share. He also gave us some insightful observations about Northern Ireland's history with the Troubles and the scars that has left on the country and its residents, Along with story telling of the Coastal route, He answered every question put to him on everything tour related and more.
We visited the settings of many iconic scenes from a variety of seasons and also learned a lot about the behind-the-scenes TV production operation as well. I learned some fun trivia, which was what the Wildling pants are made of. You'll have to ask for yourself.
Besides the Game of Thrones aspect, this is a wonderful way to see Northern Ireland's rugged beauty. The Giant's Causeway is a gem of an experience and I feel like I have checked off a site that I didn't realize was on my bucket list.
Thank you for a wholly unforgettable experience. It was fascinating, fun and informative. You really have to do this tour with people who have worked on the show -- it adds a level of context that no other tour can match. I would do this trip again in a heartbeat. I look forward to coming back again for the new locations when they open, Travelling with the actual company that transport the Cast & Crew of the show make it what it is Perfect. THANK YOU for the most amazing time.

Tour ran smoothly. Enjoyed the patter. Only concern was not knowing when to expect the next coack ad there is quite a long period between circuits.

We travelled with this company back in December Patrick was great! He was very knowledgeable and had fantastic information about GOT and Northern Ireland. I would recommend this to any GOT fan, or even not a GOT fan...he covers a lot about the country as well. I liked the fact that this is a smaller group rather then a big bus group. It’s much easier to get around, We went midweek so guessing it maybe quieter than weekends but bare in mind it was Decemeber, The image my daughter took with her partner on the causeway with a little help from her image editor unbelievable.

Visited Belfast in Feb 2019 with my partner. We decided to try the hop on and hop off bus. It’s a fantastic way to get a comprehensive tale of the city while doing it in the most efficient way possible. Staff were very engaging adding their own bits of history along the way. Well worth it and would recommend to anyone visiting Belfast!
n. r.
If you can, do the trip twice! First time round the tour leaves you a bit shocked some people in tears. Peace walls and active gates still physically separating communities. The second time around you can be a little more reflective. More importantly you do not get a prerecorded tour but a real guide with their unique view on this great city. The one thing you learn in Belfast is "shared history but different memories" Loved this fantastic city and will be returning. Thanks to the guide Paul he was excellent!
I. K.
We had a lovely time. It’s a tour we will remember every time we hear of Belfast. Thank you.

Game of Thrones tour + Giants Causeway+ Rope Bridge Adventure :-)
What a great trip. Kind and friendly tour rep(Mike) and driver(Sam). They were very clued up on GOT and answered our questions fully(even if they were silly!) They provided swords and cloaks and even took our pictures for us. Beautiful green countryside of NI was stunning. It was a full day tour and was well worth the price. Would do it again !
L. C.
We had a 2 day ticket. Both days were most interesting but the first day was spoilt by the poor sound quality of the commentary, plus the bus was in very poor condition. We were seated downstairs and water was dripping through the ceiling above us. The tour ended in the centre of town and we had to find another bus to take us back to the hotel rather than wait an hour for the next tour. The next morning an excellent bus arrived with superb sound quality and we heard everything that we had missed the day before. We stopped in the same place as the previous day got onto the next tour which again was in pretty poor condition but the sound quality was good and the driver had a great sense of humour! Well worth doing but please improve your quality of bus and sound!
J. S.
Had a great day on the tour, tour guide (Stuart) was lovely and Northern Ireland is wonderful whether it’s sunny or rainy.

We did the Belfast sightseeing tour yesterday. Really enjoyed it. I have done the tour many times but this new route is really interesting and I learned new things about Belfast and it’s people. Well worth it even on a cold December day

Amazing tour. We were lucky to have a combined Game of Thrones and Giants Causeway tour. Stuart our driver and guide was excellent and knowledgable. He made the whole experience worthwhile. Thank you for a long but excellent day. Great value and would definitely recommend

I have been on a few tours now, showing Belfast to friends from France, US, Scotland and Portugal
Have to say in the summer with various tour companies. This tour fell well below what we have
Experienced...there was non”craic”. Mainly due to pre recorded narrative which was not always in sync
As to where we were on the tour...at one point we were all told to look at the boat. Nothing there ?!
Sadly this tour did not take us to Stormont which was provided in other trips. It was to be for 90 minutes
We were taken back short of 20 mins....so disappointed and would not recommend. They need to get there act togethor

Great tour and overview of Belfast! It helped me understand a bit of the history of Belfast which to an outsider? The details are complex.

We had a superb tour around Belfast today with our driver Alan. We love doing these hop on hop off tours - and I can honestly say we enjoyed this one more than any other we have ever done. Alan got exactly the right mix between making the tour very enjoyable whilst giving us a great insight into the troubled past of this fascinating city. I cant thank him enough.
J. T.
Great tour overall. The tour guide was very nice and interesting to listen to. I appreciated the communication in the beginning about how the day would shape out and really enjoyed the brief period when Irish music was played...Although, as others have mentioned, tours were combined for company efficiency's sake and this information isn't shared until the bus is already on the road. I get it, and I knew that would happen having read previous tour reviews- but I could understand someone's irritation if you didn't already know that would happen...also covid related I was very surprised that the bus was nearly 100% full. With mask enforcement relatively non-existent. I know it's hard to enforce but I would have appreciated even just a few announcements during the day reminding people about masks- other than in the morning it was never mentioned again...I loved the site's though, despite not being a Game of Thrones fan at all. And the Giant's Causeway was saved till the end which I liked, didn't feel crowded and it was the highlight of the day so great to have at the end. Would def book with this tour company again and really enjoyed the day.

Fantastic tour - Stuart our guide was entertaining, knowledgeable & passionate about the tour, he is a credit to the tour. The pace of the tour and the whole day was well planned and great value. The sites were amazing and the journey around the coastal route is stunning. Would highly recommend this tour.

We did the winter itinery. Amazing coach trip. Great value for money, the day was filled with lots of stops and beautiful scenery on the drive in between stops. The driver/tour guide Stuart really made the experience with his information sharing, story telling and jokes! Would thoroughly recommend.

This tour is well worth the money. Our tour guide/driver Alan was excellent. A fountain of knowledge and a great craic. Would highly recommend the tour.
