Thank you Barney for a great afternoon of interesting stories on our walking tour. Good fun was had by us all. We live locally & would recommend anyone to add this to their list of things to do. Informative, relaxing, fun, good value for money.

Barney is a really great guy who has a true passion for his tour. He provided a good overview of the city layered in with many unique stories and provided background on the recent troubles. He also toured us through the best areas of the city center to visit for a drink and showed us some of the best street art as well. One of our favorite walking tours we have done

Unmissable tour when in Belfast! Barney is the guide tour you wished you had with you in all travels - why this tour? It is all things you simply cannot google! It's real, it's fun and it gets better as you walk along! Don't take my word for it - try it for yourself! :)

Would recommend for families and those traveling with kids! I would highly recommend this tour if you're visiting Belfast, and even for locals too. Especially if you're looking for something less dry and a bit more fun, the tour itself gives you a good introduction to the history and feel of the city of Belfast, and Barney's a great and fun guide who is genuinely excited to show off Belfast and answer any questions. Honestly, this tour would be a great introduction to the city, the tour is based on Belfast history and so you will get that information and Troubles history too, but framed through human stories that liven the whole thing up. Plus, if you wanted to get into the more fact-based history I'm sure he would provide that as well.

Barney was both knowledgeable and funny. His stories were memorable and amusing and he took us to places in Belfast that we wouldn’t otherwise have found. He tailored the stops to our interests and the age range was 18-60 yet he connected with everyone. Go - you won’t regret it....

My wife and I always take walking tours when we go away on holidays but with no holidays this year it was time to take a tour in Belfast. We didn’t want a tour covering the troubles and If Buildings Could Talk Tour looked like something that was different. We read some reviews and that sold it to us. If you want a tour with a difference this is the one for you. Some reviews have it billed as the “The most entertaining tour in Belfast” and it certainly lived up to that reputation. The tour doesn’t really follow a theme rather it has different stories at every building Some stories make you say Ohhhhhh some make you say WOW and some just make you laugh. It has the full package for 2 hours of entertainment and Barney (our guide) delivers it with great enthusiasm and passion, you can tell he loves what he does.
