WOW, what a week! Team Mellow Jersey have been amazing, ever since this plan was first hatched in 2019 ( Thanks COVID) THE BEST week of cycling ever, all levels catered for, all needs catered for. The hotels selected were absolutely first class, recovery meals, carb loading breakfast's NOT ONE THING COULD HAVE GONE BETTER! As a very proud tight Yorkshire man, believe me, I do not type this often, in fact NEVER BEFORE!! This was amazing value for money, you could not arrange it cheaper if you tried to do it yourself. Thanks Emma, Tony, Martin and Team for a truly amazing life changing experience.

Absolutely love cycling with Mellow Jersey! This was my third tour and definitely won’t be my last. Cycling around Andalucía and the Sierra Nevada mountains was a magical experience. The 26k descent into Almuñécar ranks as high as anything out there. But the whole experience was hugely enhanced by the Mellow Jersey team of Dave and Rachel, who supported all the riders every step of the way, ensuring every detail was taken care of: guiding, coaching, mentoring, fuelling, bike maintenance, luggage transfer - ensuring that bodies and bikes were always in top shape. If you want to just focus on the riding and not have to worry about anything else, give Mellow Jersey a shout. Looking forward to tour number four in 2023

Fantastic company. After some disastrous experiences with @britishcycling‘s tour partner we took a risk to organise a club tour of Mallorca staying in Palma, Soller, Pollensa and Colonia Sant Jordi with Mellow Jersey. Tony and Emma were brilliant and did everything they could to make it a fabulous trip - and it was! I have absolutely no reservations in recommending them to you whether you are looking for something bespoke or off the peg.

I can not recommend the Mellow Jersey team enough- one of the best week’s cycling ever. The ride leaders are fantastic, super organised, caring and fun. They also know how to adapt the ride groups perfectly to the experience- catering for all levels and speeds. I joined the women’s challenge week and had a fantastic week. Just returned from a brilliant week crossing the Pyrenees with Mellow Jersey, Tony and Martin could not have done more for the group as tour guides. The route planning was perfect and the transfers between the airports and the start and finish locations was spot on. This was a challenging route but Tony and Martin did a brilliant job of supporting the group as we inevitably split on the epic climbs. Accommodation and Food was so much better than I expected given past experience from other tours not run by Mellow Jersey. A special mention has to go to Patricia at the Grand Chalet in Aspet for her generous hospitality and fabulous cooking in her beautiful home. I would not hesitate to recommend Mellow Jersey for one of their tours or events and also for any bespoke tours you may have in mind. Thanks to Tony and Martin on the tour and of course Emma who did so much prior to the event.

I went on a shared cycle trip with Mellow Jersey to the Italian Alps, to watch a day of the Giro and to experience some of the big climbs the pros race up. Mellow Jersey put together a very enjoyable trip, based in a comfortable hotel in Bormio with excellent facilities. Emma Dyson took great care of her group and was very attentive to providing a memorable riding experience, whilst being mindful of our safety in a sometimes difficult and unpredictable environment. Top marks Emma for a thoroughly enjoyable cycling holiday. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Mellow Jersey for a great cycling experience.

Fantastic company to explore Mallorca with. MJ were recommended by friends who had used the company a few times previously and they didn't disappoint! All levels of cycling catered for and the owner and guides are very knowledgeable about the Island and you get to see places you may not get to yourself. The accommodation they use is perfect for cycling and exploring the area on the days you may not want to ride. Had such a great time I've booked to go back to Mallorca with them next year and to my first trip to the Alps. Can't recommend enough!

Having never booked a trip with one of the many cycling holiday companies that are out there I picked this one after reading some great reviews. What a great choice !! The organisation from start to finish was excellent and made my trip to the "Mallorca 312" a fantastic experience. The staff and regular riders were all very friendly and full of helpful tips and took the group on some great warm up/ cool down rides. If I was ever going to look at an overseas event again I would check if I could book it with Emma and Mellow Jersey first

Mellow Jersey provided an excellent opportunity to explore Mallorca by bike. We went on some fantastic journeys and Emma had a great knowledge of all the most appropriate cycling routes for my ability. Trips to some of the more taxing / popular climbs were high on my agenda and the whole group were well supported throughout the day, even though we were a mixed bunch of abilities. I've been to two women's training camps with Mellow Jersey and loved them! The roads in Mallorca are great to ride and it was nice to ride in a group when I don't usually. The encouragement given by Emma and her team made me feel confident to tackle climbs I wouldn't normally. A great way to see the island, get some winter sun and some lovely cycling in. I've just finished the North Coast 500 guided ride - what a great experience! The MJ team were lovely people, very helpful, the accommodation was good and everything was taken care of. Coffee stops (and carb loading!) often enough during the rides that you didn't need to worry about carrying much extra yourself, GPX files taking you to your doorstep each evening (we sometimes stayed separately as my wife had our dogs with her) so you could ride with others or at your own pace (large groups discouraged in Scotland at present). And group meet ups for drinks and dinner each evening. Fantastic scenery and (generally) kind weather ... our best day over Applecross and the beast which is Bealach na Ba (see photos) couldn't have been more sweetly timed. This was my first trip with Mellow Jersey .. it won't be my last.

I went on the ladies’ week in October, having been on the ladies’ week in March and really enjoyed it. I had an amazing holiday - and Emma really went out of her way to cater for all levels of rider even adding in an extra challenging ride during the week due to request! Great organisation by Emma and the team from the moment we were met at the airport to the moment we departed after 7 full days. Mellow Jersey employs enthusiastic and very able guides. Each evening the briefing presented several ride options for next day with a chance to sign up to your preferred choice meaning that there was no faffing in the morning. Accommodation was well-researched with good food and facilities. We had one damp day but something cycle-related was laid on to everyone's satisfaction. I couldn't fault the trip - perhaps it wasn't as warm as I wanted but that was nothing to do with Mellow Jersey!

Sincerely, all you could require from a cycle tour operator, especially for anyone opting to take a supported trip for the first time. For myself and two friends, the appeal of this was, in theory, that unlike our self-supported trip to the Marmotte of the previous year, our local transport, meals and accommodation would be provided for and that we would benefit from some very useful on course support. In the technical aspects, Emma and team were beyond bullet proof, being supremely efficient, unfailingly cheerful and proactive, superbly knowledgable and catering as they did to all levels of knowledge and ability. The experience itself nevertheless was a huge surprise for me, because I had honestly not accounted for the difference it would make to be part of a group that took its meals together, rode together, shared its excitement, its experience and its fears, and provided congratulation and commiseration in equal measure both during and after the event itself. More than just a riding trip then, this surprising and bonding experience with a disparate group of people united in genuine camaraderie by a shared love of the bicycle made the experience so much more memorable than it could otherwise have been. While the logistical and on course support was everything I expected and considerably more, it was the genuinely touching emotional journey that I truly cherished, culminating in Emma producing for one of our group the level of crowd support equivalent to an entire Dutch mountain side as he crossed the finish line on Alpe d’Huez after a long and deeply personal battle with mental and physical fatigue that I’m sure he would not otherwise have overcome. In short, I cannot recommend Mellow Jersey highly enough, and you should absolutely take the plunge.

Emma and her MJ team supported me and a couple of mates riding the Marmotte, readily accommodating (and humouring) our varying degrees of preparedness and ability. Wow: talk about every little detail taken care of – one just has to get one's self to the right airport and then focus on pushing the pedals in the right direction (easier for some than others, as it turns out). Every meal was perfect. The organised group rides to loosen the legs beforehand were a joy. Emma was even kind enough to drive through the mountains in the middle of the night to collect our late-arriving straggler on the eve of the race. Hours later, who was there with a life-saving can of Coke half way up d'Huez? And then again to cheer us across the line after 100 miles through the Alps? Emma and Mellow Jersey: not only will they give you textbook practical (and, as it turns out, emotional) support, but they leave you with something of a life-affirming experience.
