We had the pleasure of walking the wonderful, the beautiful, Annie today and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The keepers are so knowledgeable, kind and friendly; they genuinely care for their alpacas and clearly enjoy their work. We would highly recommend this experience to anyone, young or old. You'll have a great time with these fantastic creatures!

Staff greeted us on our arrival (we had booked as a group, all 3 tents) Took time to explain to the kids in our party about the magic bucket, which was a lovely touch. Portaloos on site, one for each tent. Tents are well spaced out across the paddock, our party ended up all gathering around one fire pit though! Each tent had double bed and 2x single futons, keeps the heat in surprisingly well! No running water / electricity, small inverter for charging tablets or phones. Cutlery, plates provided in a little hamper in each tent. Will be looking at booking for 2022.

The best campsite in the country by far! The hosts were amazing, very welcoming and friendly. This is the second time we have stayed there and we intend to return next year. From the moment you get there to the moment you leave its just wonderful. All the alpacas, chickens and the horse are just adorable. Kids have a great time with them from dawn till dusk. I don't know what else to say really, you just have to experience it for yourself. You WILL NOT be disappointed I guarantee.

We had an amazing night last night camping with these beautiful animals. We had so much fun BBQing and playing games round the campfire. The alpacas where so friendly and gentle, especially as we had a 5 year old with us. The tents are amazing, I’ve never camped before and I had an lovely time. The tents are fully equipped with everything you need to have a cozy night. Thank you so much to the owners for having us stay the night, we can’t wait to come back again.

We have just left after a fantastic 2 nights staying with the alpacas. The hosts could not have been friendlier, even offering face painting to our 3 children. It was a truly wonderful experience with the alpacas, chickens and horse roaming free around the tent and a safe playpark too. The children didn't want to leave! Great little extras like washing up liquid, stove and cutlery. Thank you!

Amazing afternoon. Karen & hubby are very welcoming. It’s a great set up, the Alpacas are funny & very well looked after. We took Lenny & Alan for a walk & Karen told us lots of interesting facts about the Alpacas and we got to feed them afterwards. Lovely play area & next time I think we’ll take a picnic.

This place is an absolute must if you love these animals, large tents but very warm even hot during the summer months. No electricity but lots of solar lighting.

Absolutely love this place, dean and Karen went above and beyond to make sure we had the best weekend at there little place of heaven! I stayed last night with my husband, my brother and my son, and his friends, it was amazing ! We had the best experience, these guys are so kind and knowledgeable, warm and welcoming, I would recommend any ALPACA lover to go there…. It’s tranquil and a great setting …. We were told it’s lights out at 11pm but all of us on the field we’re having such a lovely time, it was 2am before we all got tired…. We were loving our stay so much and so we’re the other campers ! The Loo’s were spanking clean, and so was our living space, we hope we left in the immaculate state we was given it. Nothing was too much effort, when we ran out of fire wood, these guys have your back. This was a little dream of mine to be close to these amazing animals and we all loved it ! Can’t wait to pop over for the night again soon ! Many thanks, and huge kisses to the alpacas xxxx Mj

We were absolutely blown away by the setting, the animals and the whole experience. We left having collected some completely unique and super cool memories! Right from the off, it was easy to make arrangements and book. The communication was quick and user friendly to help prepare for packing for a family of 5 with young children. Having never visited before I'm not sure what we were picturing but on arrival our socks were blown clean off! We were quite literally giggling in surprised delight as we pulled in and took it all in. Beautifully decorated and well spaced out mega tents (just 4, which is perfect) were presented lovingly in a field packed with 23 friendly and hilarious Alpacas! A big gentle Horse, a few quirky and confident chickens and occasional visits from some other little characters made the whole stay unforgettable. There's lots more I could say but I HIGHLY recommend giving it a go and experiencing it yourself! It's very child friendly (The great playground was a complete surprise) , adult friendly (they've thought of everything from BBQs to private toilets & fresh drinking water) and the Owners & Animals really make you all feel welcome! Essay over, it's Awsome.

Most amazing experience ever!! Bought as a present for myself for my 21st birthday and would 10/10 recommend! Staff were so friendly and the alpacas were also very friendly, a very calming experience. Will definitely be back for the glamping!

5* service. Received good directions before arriving and met by the host at the glamping site. Bell tents all immaculately presented with everything we could possibly need. The children ( & adults ) loved being around the alpacas, chickens & horse. The children’s play area is a fab idea and allows you to unpack in peace whilst they run around barefoot in the countryside. Will definitely return.

Had another lovely walk with the alpacas. The animals are so obviously loved and cared for, and the owners are so kind and friendly, giving information as we walked. Great that they take group photos for you too to remember your day. Would highly recommend for a different and special thing to do.

Had an amazing alpaca walk with our alpaca named Archie. Really enjoyed the experience despite the cold weather (we were well wrapped up so not a worry). Learnt some good facts from Dean who obviously knows his alpaca stuff. After the walk had an opportunity to feed your alpaca some snacks which they loved. All in all a really good morning out, great experience.

We absolutely loved every minute! I can't wait to book again. The staff are lovely and the animals are very well behaved. I have a toddler and the animals where safe around her as she can be wild! My only criticism is I didn't want to leave Alan the black alpaca. The horse didn't want my mum to leave. Recommend to anyone wanting to try something different! Thank you!

We visited Tickhill Alpacas this weekend, glamping overnight and then taking part in an Alpaca walk. We had an absolutely fabulous time. We shared a field with the 16 Alpacas and Major the horse which was one of the best experiences. We were met on arrival by the very friendly owner Karen who showed us to our bell tent and explained the house rules and how everything worked etc etc. We were then left alone to enjoy the evening. The Alpacas are able to roam freely which is a great experience, you can feed them (a bucket of food is provided) pet them and generally embrace these beautiful animals’ up close and personal. The next morning we met up to take part in the walk. This was around 1 hour, I think it depends how much greenery your assigned Alpaca wants to eat en route to how long it takes😂 Archie seemed to want to eat everything. We absolutely loved this, it’s a nice walk though I’d recommend sensible shoes. After the walk, we had a group photo, fed the Alpacas a bit more (they sure can eat) and then we had to go home. I’d highly recommend Tickhill Alpacas for a great day/night out. Ideal for families with kids but also for groups of big kids like us too.

Jan and I spent a brilliant couple of hours with Summer the Alpaca on a group walk and then a feeding session. The whole experience was well organised with plenty of opportunities for photos. No doubt the fine weather helped, but I certainly wouldn't let a bit of rain stop our next visit, and we will be back. Thanks Tickhill Alpacas for a lovely time.

Not to bad to find. Parking is in the field near tents with Alpacas. Alpacas seem really friendly & calm. We had a barbecue which we cooked on their barbecue. We bought a bag of logs from them for £5 & had a fire on the barbecue to melt the chocolate for marshmallows & strawberry. There are 3 tents & are all allocated a portaloo for each tents own use. There is a small park on site but the site is on a slope which is hard for pushchairs, so couldn't imagine pushing a wheelchair etc. I would of given it 5 stars but the Futons were very uncomfortable, in the end I put the mattress on the floor & managed 5 hours sleep ( that wasn't that comfy). All in all a good experience & the grandson wants to do it again 🙂

I was introduced to these fluff balls whilst they were visiting a care home. The alpacas (and their owners) were patient and very gentle. The residents and visitors really enjoyed their visit. Summer was my secret favourite.

Overall was OK but the walk could of been longer and felt like we was being rushed couldn't really stop on the walk for pictures so wasn't great. Wouldn't recommend for people with prams and young children.
