I have booked two day trips with discover Scotland tours from Edinburgh and both of the trips were exceptional! Marco our travel guide in the first day was really funny and knowledgeable, he made the trip very enjoyable. He explained everything and answered all my endless questions :) The trip was wonderful and the weather luckily was great. John, the second guide was cheerful and very considerate as well. Absolutely recommended trips to explore Scotland. Can’t wait to book the three days trip with them again. Lama

We participated in the Highland Lochs, Glens & Castles tour in February and absolutely enjoyed it! I've recommended it to some of our friends and in a private Facebook group travel page. We plan on booking again when our parents visit and can't wait. Our Tour Leader John T was so welcoming, kind, and a great driver- I recommend him to everyone! We learned so much about Scotland, it was beautiful- even in the middle of February and driving through three different kinds of weather! I was constantly turning my head to look at everything which probably contributed to me getting a little motion sick, but it is by far my favorite memory of getting motion sick. 10/10 would go again. Would also like to mention all the small details that did not go unnoticed- all was very appreciated: quiet Scottish music playing in the background on the bus, facts about castles and Scotland provided by John (but not an overwhelming amount, it was very nice to listen to the music in between), his recommendations where to eat for Lunch in Inverary, telling us reasonable times to return to the bus to stick to the schedule, umbrellas he had ready for anyone to use, and the suggested use of the front seat in case anyone (like me) became dizzy while on the winding roads. Used this tour service for Scottish Highlands - Glenfinnan viaduct. John was our tour guide cum driver. Amazing experience. Such a cool guide and such gorgeous sceneries. He made sure this tour was one of the best experiences for the travelers. Very much recommended.

I found out about Discover Scotland through an online search. As I was travelling with family (parents and sister), I was researching different tours for the highlands that would provide a nice, extensive and well planned family friendly experience. I researched a few operators, and I was most impressed by the details provided on the Discover Scotland website. There were detailed itineraries for different tours, and a very easy booking experience. I chose the 3 day tour because it covered a lot of the places that I wished to cover, in a well planned manner. For the tour: Everything was on time, and our guide - Gary was really amazing. Throughout the tour he gave a lot of small details and stories about Scotland and the various landmarks we went to along with the ones we did not cover. It was a packed itinerary, but it never felt rushed and we managed to see a lot of things in the span of 3 days. It was an extremely well planned itinerary. The bus was very comfortable too. The BnB that we stayed at in Kyleakin, Winklebeech, was really good too. The hostess was very polite and nice, and the location of the accommodation was amazing, right by the water. 10/10 would highly recommend the tour to anyone who is visiting Scotland. Earlier this week we did the castles and lochs tour with Marco. It was one of the best ones we’ve had in Europe. The drive was beautiful! There was also a good balance between stopping places and driving. We appreciated Marco’s dialogue during the tour. It was really interesting and informative and felt more like we were having a conversation rather than being talked at. In addition the various songs related to Scotland made the journey more fun! We 10/10 recommend booking with Discover Scotland :)

Marko our driver was great. Funny & knowledgeable. The bus is a bit of a tight fit if you're bigger but I made a go of it. We did the Lochs, Glens & Castle tour to Inveraray, Doune & Loch Lomond It is a great tour especially Stop and be Thankful. We also stopped to feed hairy coos. Definitely worth taking this tour from Edinburgh.

Hi! I don’t know if it’s the right company but we went to Scotland last week and we spend a day with John who was driving the car and we just LOVED our day in the highlands! The trip was clearly amazing but John made it better, funnier and he did everything to make us confortable. We love him!

Our tour of the Loch Ness, Haunting Glencoe & The Highlands Tour was something to remember for the rest of my life. Thank you for making this memory so awesome! The whole tour I never felt rushed at stops or like we didn’t have enough time. And.. (drumroll) Stewart, our tour guide, was ABSOLUTELY amazing! I would go on another tour just to hear him talk! His commentary during the tour was the highlight of my trip. I’m usually reluctant to book tours as I am a make your own path kind of traveler but this was something incredibly special. My wife and I loved this tour. I would recommend this tour to every person I know. If we come back, I will book a much longer tour with you guys!

We did the 3 day Isle of Skye, Highlands, and Loch Ness tour, it was amazing. Our tour guide Michael was exceptional! He was funny, incredibly knowledgeable, and had stories, pictures, and a great song list that entwined with the sights we were seeing. I will hold these memories in my heart forever.

The tour was amazing and I truly enjoyed every bit of it,the tour was well organized and is crafted in a way that you get to see most of what a place has to offer.We really loved everything and there is nothing that has to be changed as it's perfect !!! What can I say about our tour guide "Michael", he was the tour highlight I would say,kept us entertained throughout the tour. And he has very good knowledge about the places and spots and the way he tells stories is just fab !! He made sure we see everything that is possible and where to get best views from. What we found most amazing about his was he cared about everyone and helped a lot. Few guys with us booked a place where there was no food,so Michael made sure every time to stop at someplace so that they can get some I food for themselves. And thank you so much for arranging the beautiful surprise for our anniversary.We loved it . The tour highlight would definitely be the hairy coo and our tour guide. Highly recommend!!

I chose this guided tour in a small group as I was travelling on my own. I had an absolutely amazing time. Everything worked out perfectly fine and we visited all the promised and stunning sights. Our tour leader Jerry did an amazing job. He gave us a lot of informations and insights about Scotland, drove us around safely and was always kind and funny. I am so glad that I chose Discover Scotland for a 4-day tour of the Isle of Skye, the Highlands & Loch Ness. I found the communication in advance of the trip to be very helpful in terms of planning and packing. I was also happy with the pickup and dropoff point, as it was well-situated near several hotels in Edinburgh within walking distance. The Dunedin B&B that was booked for me while we were on Skye was comfortable in every way and I spent three very restful nights there. The innkeepers were wonderful in accommodating my vegan diet each morning at breakfast, with a different option each day. The best part of the trip was was our tour guide who is so knowledgeable of the history, trivia, and local customs of the Highlands. He took great care to ask those of us on the tour what we hoped to get out of each day and gave us all kinds of options to choose from, making sure that we could see the best sights and experience all that Skye has to offer.

We came across your website and decided to book for our 4 days tour to Isles of Skye. The tour were absolutely fantastic. Kudos to Michael the tour guide, who made the trip memorable with his knowledge of historical events and his sense of humor. He's very accommodative and go easy with the group too. The trip was relaxing, no rush for time, made many stops to take pictures as well as covering all the itineraries. Our 3 nights stay at Broadford Town was comfortable and cosy. Every morning we were served with good breakfast that was beyond our expectation. Best tour to take. Highly recommend. I was on tour to Glenfinnan Viaduct & the Highlands, our Tour manager, John was super amazing. Can’t thank him enough. He will make you fall in love with Scotland even if you already do. He managed time very well. This tour is beyond amazing. I had the best time touring Scotland and the islands and made some really good friends from the tour. Our guide Nick is funny, knowledgeable and beyond kind. I am very glad that we came across the trip online and my friend who went for the same earlier, supported our plan as well. My husband and I went to 4 days trip by DiscoverScotland tour (Skye, highlands, Loch Ness ) in month of May. It was really nice to explore with a local guide. Stuart was our driver/guide. He was very entertaining, informative and safe. I cannot imagine learning so many things about Scotland, highlands and the stories of Loch monster if not for him telling us in his amazing jovial way. He kept everyone comfortable with extra water, frequent bathroom breaks, and coffee stops. We were picked up at 9am and dropped back by 7pm at our BnB in broadford after a lovely day of exploration of Skye- mountains, beach and castles. We were a group of 9 which made it small enough to feel comfortable and bond. The length of stops was good for exploring and relaxing and the little treks were easy and totally worthwhile in Glenco/ fairy pools. We were blessed with good weather and did a cruise journey as well looking at seals, thanks to timely thinking of Stuart. I would definitely recommend this to people would like to explore and learn about Skye. Now that we have done that, I would like to take my picnic mats and coffee flasks and sit and unwind near Neist point in a vacay mode 😎! Thanks for such a wonderful time! While in Edinburg my family and I did this tour and man it was cool. We did the single day tour to Lochness with Marco. I was very hesitant at first but our tour guide was great and i’m so glad we decided. the weather was iffy but his knowledge of the area and info was insightful and helpful. We went on the Loch Lomond, Stirling Castle and Kelpies Tour with our guide Marco. The tour was fantastic with spectacular views and tons of photo opportunities. We chose not to take the Loch Lomond boat tour as we'd gone on the boat in Loch Ness on another tour. Instead we grabbed a coffee and a snack and wandered the town. Marco then took us to see the hairy coos, which was a lot of fun and, of course, the area was very picturesque. Then we went on to Stirling castle, which we LOVED. We arrived around 4PM and there weren't a lot of people so we were able to see everything we wanted to see and get lots of pictures. I highly recommend touring this castle for the amazing views and the history. We're from Canada and we've never experienced anything like this before. It was truly once in a lifetime for us. After the castle we visited the kelpies, which were quite beautiful. Marco was an excellent guide, full of local knowledge and history. He was also very accommodating, polite and kind with all the guests. Thank you to Discover Scotland Tours and Marco for a really wonderful day!

Not only were the landscapes magnificent but Michael was also a fantastic guide with a lot of interesting stories about the land. Highly recommend this tour to get to know Scotland better. Thankyou discover scotland for giving us such an amazing opportunity to explore the Highlands. Jeff (our tour guide) was amazing throughout the journey. He made sure that we know all the historic events and the significance behind each and every place where he took us. The best part was his song collection, each song he was playing was linked to the surrounding area which we were passing by. We booked your tour last minute and it turned out to be one of the best tours we have taken in the UK. We have tried all the big name tours too and by far yours was the best. That is mostly due to Dave and his hilarious and informative commentary. My kids were throughly entertained and we would definitely take a tour with you again.
