Reviews of Edinburgh Treasure Hunts
We did all three games with a few friends. Our favourite was the pirate one. If you’re into escape rooms this is a great hybrid between them and tours. Highly recommended!
This was one of my favorite days out in Edinburgh!
Such a fun way of seeing hidden parts of the city while speaking like a pirate and solving puzzles. Sabella was always available if stuck on a hard task and ever helpful with a small hint. A bag full of goodies to help us out and I can't wait to try out her other tours!!!
We have done the Sherlock and the Pirates tressure hunts, the experience neve dissapoints! Not only the puzzles, the lore and the organiser's attitude is excellent but discovers you a hidden Edinburgh, full of history, magic and remarkable characters. Will visit again with my wife for sure!
My mum and I did the Sherlock Holmes hunt. It was very good. I would definitely recommend and will booking another one soon. Sabi was very helpful and clues were really good.
Amazing experience and a really fresh, unique and impassioned take on an emerging format. There are tons of puzzle and escape room like things to do these days and I love doing as many of them as I can, but this one really stands out from the crowd! Highly recommended, thanks Sabi!
Interesting and fun! Great way to discover the city, we had a really good time! Hoping to go back and play the games we didn't play last time!
Super fun treasure hunts in Edinburgh. Full of stories and history. Highly recommend
So much fun! One can tell this treasure hunt was designed by a gamer. Really enjoyed it.
So much fun, so well organised and planned - can’t wait to come back and do one of the new challenges!
It was a wonderful experience, it is a really good idea. Learning with games. I really recommend it. It is awesome. ☺️
We played the Fantastic Creatures game with friends and it was GREAT! very fun, you learn about Scottish mythology and explore the most beautiful areas of Edinburgh in depth. Super recommended to do something different and magical!
I played these games with my partner and 2 other friends. We didn’t know Edinburgh at all and we felt like we fully explored it whilst playing. Such a great way to see the city.
Fascinating experience! We made the Fantastic Creatures game in Spanish and we liked it so much that we also made the Sherlock game. Everything works great, highly recommended for walking around the city and learning about the area.
If you are a fan of Sherlock Holmes, I can't think of a better way to learn about the character's roots. Super recommended and Sabela is a genius!
Highly Recommended!! especially if you want to discover Edinburgh and have so much fun! We did it and it was one of the best memories of our trip.

Super recommended!! Especially if you want to discover the city and have a great time. We did it and it is one of the best memories of that trip.
A very original game in the wonderful Scottish capital. Highly recommended and fun. Yes, you have to think a little!
So much fun to get to know Edinburgh while playing a game. We are Sherlock Holmes fans and this was the best way for us to learn about his connection to Edinburgh.
We did Fantastic Creatures of Edinburgh with both my nieces and we absolutely loved it! It was seamlessly designed and put together. Thanks so much to Sabi for such a wonderful experience. Unforgettable!
The Pirate’s Riddle is the best. Very creative game and really pretty sights. We had a blast. Thank you Sabi :)
Highly recommend this experience, it’s a great way to see parts of the city you might miss and learn about them. Sabi was so helpful and gave great clues when we needed them. The puzzles where challenging without being too difficult and we felt a real sense of achievement when we solved them. The Sherlock tour has a nice ending too and I will say no more about that.
Fantastic! We completed the Sherlock and Pirate challenges. Both were amazing but the Sherlock one had a fantastic surprise at the end. Each clue was put together so well and the flow was fantastic. No two clues are the same. Would definitely recommend.
We completed Sherlock’s Secret Challenge and it was great. The design of the treasure hunt was excellent and we had so much fun working our way through the puzzles. Would definitely recommend.
Sabi has created the most amazing games that actually teach you about the city. You notice so much stuff you didn't even know existed! We played both the Sherlock game and the Pirates one and we'll do any that she creates. So much fun. We've done other puzzles around the city that don't even compare.
We were excited to try the Pirate challenge after doing the Sherlock one a while ago. We were confident we might breeze this one due to being ‘experienced’ but Sabi’s clever clues kept us busy for a good few hours. The mix of clues meant everyone played a part in solving (our group aged 13 - 50+). A great outdoor activity which takes you to interesting and lesser known spots. Higher recommend.
