H. E.Great place to relax and look at the trains with a nice cup of coffee and some biscuits. The facilities are fine and are a total bargain considering the prices of some 1st class journeys on LNER.
If you're travelling in a group the staff will come up and remind you of when your train is and direct you to your platform.
All in all, a great little lounge thats worth the extra price from your ticket. If only they still ran the Class 91s up here...

S. H.Amazing staff on clean, comfortable trains - the bacon sandwichs are great - use exclusively and frequently between Northumberland and Edinburgh. Azuma all the way! 🚄 💛
D. W.A nice place to wait for your train. Lounge is only for 1st class ticket holders travelling on the same day
M. J.Staff friendly but lner have removed any of the class out of first class.
