My girlfriend and I were looking for somewhere romantic to spend our 5 year anniversary and we always wanted to try Skye. Having looked online we saw Exploring Scotland hosted a 48hr tour and we couldn't have made a better choice by choosing them to show us the beauties of the island. Everything was pre booked which was a massive bonus because I hate the stress of finding researching where to to go that isn't too touristy. Brendan our tour guide had all our accommodation, restaurants and sights planned for us only after having a simple conversation about what we were wanting from the trip. I couldn't recommend this service any higher and certainly will be back to visit some other parts of this stunning country!

I would highly recommend Exploring Scotland to anyone wanting to see the best Scotland has to offer! Great tour guide and very personal service!
We booked the Munro tour because we wanted to take in some of the Scottish views and scenery. Having not done much hiking before we wanted to make sure we were accompanied by someone who knew what they were doing and that we picked a hike we could manage. We called Brendan from Exploring Scotland who was able to advise what was best suited to our level.
The transport picked us up from Glasgow where we drove to Ben Arthur (The Cobbler) in Arrochar. Our tour guide Brendan was very knowledgable about the surrounding mountains and could tell us a lot about the history of the place and Scotland in general which was great!
Although not actually a Munro the hike was amazing and the views from the top were incredible, helped by the good weather!
After the hike, Brendan then took us for fish and chips where we sat and ate in the sun beside the loch before being dropped off back in Glasgow.
A great day out and a big difference from the busy city of Glasgow!! I'm already considering booking one of the distillery tours for next time!

This is definitely more than a whisky tour, and a has a little something for everyone! My wife booked this tour for us so I could learn more about the whisky making process. Brendan is such an amazing, personal, and knowledgeable tour guide and he made sure that there were things for my wife so it wasn't all whisky related. Brendan did a great job of going out of his way to ensure we had the best experience. Not only did we go to 3 great distilleries, Brendan also brought us to the the beautiful Loch Lomond, and the drives thru the Scottish countryside were beautiful. We also had an amazing lunch at a small local restaurant. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who would like to have a personalized tour of the Lowlands and learn more about Scotland and their whisky!

Couldn't recommend a tour or two from Exploring Scotland more; a really special way to experience Scotland with someone who knows what they're doing (rather than being limited to the first 10 results on a google search). A group of myself and two friends booked the Lowland Whisky Tour and also "The Island with No Roads." Both amazing in their own way. We were taken on both tours by Brendan who certainly knew his whisky! A fun and interesting day of exploring the whisky distilleries with some excllent food recommendations in between was a great way to start.
Then the next day was really something else. We visited the beautiful town of Oban and sampled some local seafood from the Green Shack before travelling to get our tiny ferry to Easdale. It really needs to be seen to be believed. After we had had our crack at skimming stones, Brendan took us back to Oban to spend some time at the distillery upon our request. We wrapped up the day with some local fish and chips. Would definitley use the tour company again if we were visiting.

Great trip to Skye, walked in the Cuillins, saw the Fairy pools and went to a ceilidh in the evening. All arranged by Brendan at Exploring Scotland. Many thanks, I'll be back for more.
