Absolutely brilliant tour! Johnny is extremely knowledgeable (and passionate!) about Glasgow and offers a super comprehensive and interesting tour around the city. We saw + learnt about so many things we never would have otherwise, and would definitely recommend this tour to any visitor to Glasgow!

Johnny is a champion for Glasgow, passionate and loud about history, architecture, people and all things Glaswegian. Do not consider another tour. Johnny is the one who takes the bookings and does the tour, he will even send you a message if a vacancy pops up ( bonus- walk numbers are limited so you aren’t walking with a bus load of others. ) you will see things that are off the radar. I can’t speak highly enough of the enthusiasm and energy you will encounter on the Is walk, tip Johnny well, he absolutely deserves it.

I always make sure to do a walking tour when I'm in a new city, and Glasgow Gander was the best one I've been on by far! Johnny's knowledge about Glasgow is impressive and his passion is contagious. Even in the windy, rainy weather, the tour was very enlightening and entertaining! I ended up going to several of Johnny's recommendations from the tour during my stay in Glasgow, and he was even kind enough to send me a document with recommendations he didn't get to during the tour. The street art tour with Glasgow Gander Tours was terrific. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the street artists and the history behind the pieces, that she expertly and seamlessly weaved into the history of Glasgow. I cannot recommend this tour (and company) highly enough. Our guide was so naturally funny, light hearted and had us in stitches for most of the tour. She had such a way with people and drew everyone in from the tour, with great variation of tone and raised her voice when there was loud traffic to make sure that we didn’t miss anything. This tour is THE tour to do in Glasgow, I will be doing the other tours with this company when I visit again. Absolutely loved it and wishing this company and people behind it all the very best.

We booked this tour after the one we had booked was cancelled.It was quite a surprise! The tour is amazing. The best one of the many freewalking tours I had before (and after). Johnny does his best to explain everything from historical facts to popular ones. It was so nice to discovery Glasgow with him. I really advice everyone to do it!!!
