Wow, what an incredible tour!!
Please don't visit Glasgow without taking part in this experience. History, beer knowledge, and a ton of laughs and fun.
Donald (the guide in training) was awesome. Warm, inviting, and very accommodating in making sure everyone was acknowledged and part of the group.
And Mhairi was absolutely amazing! She is delightfully wonderful. She delivered the tour with energy, wit, charisma, and a uniqueness that didn't feel rehearsed or like it had been done before. It was her own and as a solo traveller I couldn't have felt more at home in Glasgow. A massive thank you to her!
Please book this tour! You will leave with nothing but a great time, new friends, memories and two hours wishing it had been longer!
Cheers!

The beer tour was the starting point for our annual Christmas day out. Mhairi was great company and very knowledgeable about beer and Glasgow. Recommended for beer lovers and visitors to Glasgow

Really enjoyable experience with the ScotBeer Tours in Glasgow. In the area to hike the West Highland Way and had a few days before leaving Glasgow. Thiago and Mheiry were personable, knowledgeable, and had a great sense of humor. Our group learned about the history of Glasgow and Scotland and the brews that sprung from that history. We walked to a couple of beer cafes, sampled their wares, and got an education on how to enjoy a proper beer tasting. We ended the tour with beer and pizza at Schillings Brewery. A great time was had by all; I would recommend this tour to anyone who enjoys a good pull, a little history, and really great tour guides!

Really great your through Glasgow, even with the unruly stag group. Learnt a lot of new things about the city and ended the tour tasting a great selection of beer at a central pub. Sara our tour guide was fantastic and I highly recommend it for anyone with an interest in the city and it's rich history with beer.

What a wonderful way to learn more about both the history of Glasgow and beer all at the same time! Before this tour I didn't know anything about the interesting links between the two, and I've lived here for 10 years!
It was great to learn about the merchant history of Glasgow, especially so alongside examples of remaining architecture throughout the walk. Our tour guide Alasdair clearly has extensive knowledge and passion on this topic, as well as on the subject of beer.
We visited nearby pubs to try out the different types and learn about the flavours and processes. I didn't have a lot of knowledge on the range and so it was great to be able to try them and learn about brewing and ingredients.
Alasdair is a great guide and host, offering a warm and friendly tour that's genuinely really interesting. The length of the tour isn't too much and with plenty of stops you feel like you get a good amount of tasting in.
A great tour that I would definitely recommend to natives and visitors alike.

I live in Glasgow but always feel like I dont know much about the history of the city. This tour was great. Our tour guide Alasdair was super informative, friendly and had a real passion for story telling. Previously I have only really known about the tobacco merchants but Ally taught me about so much more. There were many points of interest I walk past every day that I didn't realise were so significant in Glasgow's development. The beer selection was a really interesting mix and added an extra dimension to the walking tour. Alasdair was really well informed on the brewing process and took us to several local pubs for tastings. As all down hill the tour is very accessible for all. I would highly recommend for locals and visitors alike.

The tour was awesome! The tourguide told the history of the city very interesting and it was great to listen to. The beerspots were awesome aswell, we tasted a lot of new beer flavours and we enjoyed it very much! If you’re in Glasgow we would definitely recommend this tour because it is a great way of learning about the history, to look around the city and it was a fun beer tasting!

A fun and informative experience with a guide whose knowledge of, and passion for, his subject were very apparent. Alasdair summarised Glasgow’s brewing history in a concise, funny and engaging manner, and as a Glaswegian myself, I learned a lot about my city that I did not previously know.
With Alasdair’s encouragement, I tasted beers that I wouldn’t normally try, and I was pleasantly surprised by the sour beers!
If you are looking for a way to learn about Glasgow whilst experiencing the night life and friendly pub culture, this tour is absolutely worthwhile. Highly recommended for visitors and Glaswegians alike!

This tour was fantastic!!! A small group of us went on this tour and we all throughly enjoyed it. Our tour guide 'Alasdair' was very knowledgable on the local history of Glasgow and the beer brewing process. I was surprised to find out about some unknown parts of Glasgow's history, especially in the Blythswood square area. The tour was topped off with some visits to welcoming nearby pubs, where we tasted some quality Scottish beers. Alasdair guided us through the different beer types and brewing processes for each beer. Top class tour!! Thanks for the amazing experience.

Our large crowd and class clowns were managed with the best of humour and patience. A great tour of Glasgow and some stonking niche beer tidbits from Sara. Would recommend.

I organised a corporate team-to-team event for 9 people with ScotBeer Tours, and it was brilliant. Sara is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about beer, and picked a few venues for the tour that surprised and delighted the group. Everyone was well entertained by the stories she told, and there was a great range of beers on offer.
Hugely recommended for a group activity with a difference!
