What an incredible day out!!! Initially I thought the price was a tiny bit steep but after enjoying the day out I can honestly say it definitely wasn't. Our host Kate was a little Scouse pocket rocket with tonnes of knowledge and personality, she honestly carried the tour in Shoreditch so well! Me and my boyfriend went with little to no knowledge of gin making but it was SO fun and informative. We loved the brewery tour at the beginning and trying each different gin WITH a cocktail as well. Some of the bars we went to and the history that came with them was absolutely fascinating! We managed to get a fab pizza at one of the venue's as well but brought some snacks for the minibus so we actually remembered the final bar after all that gin. Can't remember having a more fun day date out!! Fair to say you can't enjoy many days out for 5+ hours including drinks for a price like that so we were really really impressed. Hoping to try one of the other tours now and hope to meet some of the other hosts along the way. Many thanks from the giant flamingos!! (we are both very tall and we're wearing bright pink) see you again soon! X

Another amazing gin journey! I did Shoreditch a few years back and loved it. This time was just as brilliant. New venues, new gins, new cocktails and the best gin guardian ever - Cocktail Kate! Joining me was a GJ virgin and she had the best time. She will definitely be joining me for more gin adventures in the future :0) Looking forward to recreating some of the cocktails at home this weekend and popping back to a few of the bars next time we're in town.

This was a 50th Birthday present pre Covid! After finally getting the opportunity to experience Liverpool we did it in style. The tour was outstanding. We all enjoyed visiting bars around the city which gave us opportunity to explore. The host Mark was extremely informative and welcoming. What a brilliant afternoon and something we will all do again. Totally recommended.

What a brilliant afternoon in Liverpool. The weather was also amazing so for a few of the bars we sat outside too. We weren't sure what to expect but it far exceeded anything we thought. Mark our host was great fun, informative and sociable. At each bar we got a little neat gin to taste, followed by a cocktail containing that gin. There were about 20 of us on this journey. At each bar we had a reserved area and as the gin continued to flow, the banter between all of us strangers soon made us best friends. There was a minibus waiting for us outside to take us to our next pub. All in all this was a fab way to spend a Saturday afternoon in Liverpool. Mark our host was amazing.

Gin Journey in Liverpool on 21 May 2022 was amazing. Nick (Stephen) was an amazing host. He knew everything about the samples and the journey of the area he took us all on. Kept us well entertained. Myself and my partners mum had the best time on the Manchester Gin Journey. This was a Christmas present to her and was worth it. Great price worth the money. I have been on several Gin journey tours, I would highly recommend them not only do you learn lots about gin, you discover different gins and mixers. Every time I do one it is a different experience and different venues. You meet lots of lovely gin lovers and have a giggle. The tour guides are always very knowledgeable and look after you. Mikey our tour guide was full of knowledge of the industry and gin and was very passionate when he spoke. Mikey was so lovely and friendly and made sure everyone was looked after and having fun. Gin journey is an experience you must have fab for couples or friends.

What a great day! A wonderfully warm welcome from Cocktail Kate, who was incredibly knowledgeable about all the gins we tried. We heard about the history of gin, supported small distilleries and businesses and basically had a brilliant day. The venues we visited were such a mix of very old (police station) and very new (Kraft) which added to the experience. Kate involved all the people on the Journey with her relaxed and very friendly banter and also wished my sister Happy Birthday which was appreciated. The gins and cocktails were delicious - the gin, green chartreuse and basil smash was simply the best! The pizza we ate at Nebula was gorgeous too - although maybe improved slightly as we had already tried 3 gins, 2 GnTs and were on to a cocktail! If you are thinking of a Gin Journey simply stop wasting brain cell effort and just book it! Happy Saturday as Kate would say!

Fantastic day out in Chester, tasting Gin in some great bars. Our host Hannah was brilliant, very informative and friendly, throwing in a few laughs along the way, and introducing us to some lovely likeminded Gin Tasters. We went to 5 Gin bars, Olive tree Brasserie, liquor and Co, a fantastic secret little gem called the Cabinet Club, bar Kuckoo basement and finally, Craft and company. Lottie who led our tour was brilliant - really knowledgeable about the history and different types of gin and great at delivering the mini talks at each bar. We were a group of 10 and had a private gin journey in London with Joe 17th Sept- absolutely fabulous! Gin journeys never fail to deliver in my opinion and Joe was spot on with the balance of information, humour and engagement with our group. The gins were great too! What can I say apart from brilliant!!!! My sister bought me a gin journey for my 40th birthday and I can honestly say I had the best time. My birthday was in 2020 but with Covid it was postponed until August 2021. We went to Liverpool and the gin guardian was so good at his job and also friendly and mixed with everyone. If I didn’t live so far away I would definitely be asking for a job!!!! The next best thing will be when I book to go on another which will definitely be happening!!😊 Anyone wondering whether to go or not should definitely get it booked, it would be a crime not to!!!! I've been on 4 gin journeys, in different cities. I always enjoy myself and my friends do too. The bars and drinks are carefully selected and the guardians knowledge gives you plenty to think about. If you like to drink quality gins and try out new places and cocktails, this is the experience for you :0)

I'm a huge fan of Gin Journey! Leon and his team of Gin Guardians run a very slick operation where all you need to do is turn up at a secret location, and surrender yourself to 5 bars (one will be a distillery), 5 gin tastes, 5 gin cocktails, lots of gin banter, some quizzes and prizes to be won, and a gin bus to take you between bars. There's always the chance to buy (excellent) food in one of the bars. You emerge a few hours later, squiffy, educated and satisfied. I've done 4 and can't wait for my 5th journey!

A must for visiting London! I’ve done the gin journey twice, and next time I’m in the capital I will be doing it again. Such a good price for an evening out with 5 gins and then 5 cocktails made with that gin, a chauffeured ‘Gini’ bus visiting the best hidden bars and distillery’s. Prizes are given out during the night (eg. Miniature gins or even a bottle), along with a entertaining ‘history of Gin’ talk between bars. The night will leave you on a high, a satisfied belly of Gin, and new friends. Thanks Leon see you soon!

I enjoyed this, but was a bit disappointed that 3 of the 5 cocktails were a gin and tonic (two with a flavoured tonic, but still…). More variety would have been better.
