I can highly recommend not only doing the walk but also joining the workshop. Apart from being super informativ and fun, it helps to appreciate how cool all the street art is that you see during the walking tour. Top marks ❤️

The tour and workshop was brilliant, learnt so much from our tour guide (Gary) who was so knowledgeable. Had the best few hours looking at some amazing pieces of art and understanding more about the history and details. Workshop too was also fantastic and so much fun to get a bit creative!
Gary went above and beyond to make the whole experience enjoyable!!
J. J.
This was literally the best tour we have ever done. My boys were engrossed for the whole 3 hours. Gary was so interesting and thought provoking and the art we saw was phenomenal. I’m going to do it again I loved it that much!!!

Sensational tour through London's East End, and some amazing art.
Gary was an incredibly knowledgeable, personable and informative guide. He clearly has a deep and abiding love for his neighbourhood, and that shines through in his delivery of the tour.
Even with a large group (I was delighted to hear, his largest group since you know what), he took the time to get to know everyone, and engage with everyone individually throughout the tour.
Gary is very much across his brief, having an understanding both of the social construct of street art, and a deep knowledge of the technical aspects of how the pieces are constructed. He even has personal relationships with many of the scene's most prolific and well known artists.
My kids had a wonderful time on their tour, and the workshop afterwards was great fun. I am recommending this tour to everyone I know that's heading to London in the future.
C. S.
Amazing tour - Gary is knowledgeable and interesting. The art and stories that went along with them were so interesting. Recommend highly - wish it was longer!
J. T.
Really excellent tour incorporating local history as well as the street art. Gary was very knowledgeable and engaging. Highly recommend the street art workshop too - it gives you a whole new appreciation of the skills involved! Such a fun day.
O.
Our tour guide Gary was clearly very passionate about the street art. He gave us a bit of local history about the area as well. Would highly recommend!
j. s.
I had the most amazing experience with AlternativeLDN. Gary was an amazing tour guide and his knowledge is second to none. He showed us around some amazing graffiti / street art sites (if not for him, I would have never known they where there). I was also booked on the stencil teaser course.... this was also great fun. 100% recommend.
A. W.
Met a friend for a day out in London to do the street art tour and workshop and we had the best time!! Got to see so much more of the east end than before and feel like we’ve learnt so much :D as someone who wouldn’t class herself as an art lover/very artsy I had the best time and would recommend to anyone :D
Thank you so much!!!!
C. C.
Really enjoyed your, guide was knowledge and very friendly. Kept us all interested and knew his stuff very well. I would do this again and it will make me look at art differently now
v. r.
Absolutely recommended. An authentic insight of the street art scene in East London. We would never get tired to listen to the stories of such talented artists and the powerful message expressed by their art. Thank you so much
A. I.
Gary was am awesome guy. Gave us plenty of info on the East End area history which helped us to better understand the context in which the street art is made. Also plenty of interesting facts and insight on the street art and graffiti themselves during the walking tour. The stencil and spray paint 🎨 workshop was also awesome and super fun! Enjoyed making my own little art piece. I really recommend the full experience!
R. C.
We done the 2 hour tour followed by the 2 hr workshop, totally engaging, informative and fun, I done this with my 13 year old son, not always easy to find something to do together that we both enjoy but this ticked all the boxes. Gary, our guide, was super friendly and encouraged the creative side out of us. Can’t recommend this tour enough, a really memorable day.
K. J.
We joined the Street Art Tour and Workshop. Family of four. Two teenage daughters, my husband and I. We all thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Good pace, excellent detailed information from very knowledgeable guide who was clearly part of the community. Would highly recommend the trip to everybody.
P. M.
Amazing day out. Gary was brilliant, learnt a load had a lot of fun and want to go back and do it all again - first class. Thank you
C. L. W.
Very family friendly tour of London's East End art scene. Extremely knowledgeable and accomplished guide Gary, who offers an insight into the art and politics of the area. Top notch tour. Highly recommend.
A. G.
Amazing guided tour in the East End / Brick Lane by passionate and super-knowledgeable Gary. The workshop was great fun too. 100% would recommend to a friend!
T. K.
Fascinating and riveting from the moment the first words are spoken. Best thing we have done in ages. Our Guide Gary should have his own show about Street Art! His passion about the Artists and the role, meaning and value of their work is phenomenal.
D. B.
Fun, informative and inspiring, this tour is the real deal. I’m a fan of street art, so I was glad to learn so much and get so inspired. Whether you’re visiting or local, I would highly recommend this tour.
D. S.
Excellent Street Art Tour! We did a 2.5 hours tour including a workshop for our own creations at the end. Emilie, our guide, was extremely knowledgeable, entertaining and knew plenty of details to show and talk about. We were really amazed by all the cool artwork available in East London. Highly recommended - even if street art doesn’t particularly interest you.
R. B.
Gary was a great guide who knew so much about the area and the artists. The workshop after was also great. I just wish it could’ve been longer!
L. D.
Wow, what a fantastic morning as Gary led our cycling group around some of East London Street art and graffiti. It was really interesting to learn about the background to the artists and their work.Gary's knowledge and history of the area is incredible and meant that we could weave through the backstreets avoiding the busy main roads. I would definitely recommend.
M. G.
I bought the walking tour and street art workshop for my boyfriends bday and we both loved it. Emily was a great guide and knew so much about the art scene and showed us really cool pieces around town. We had a blast making our own stencil too and getting to play around with the spray paints. Highly recommend!
S. H.
Two thumbs up for this walking tour! My husband, our 12 year old daughter and I plus my good friend and her 12 year old daughter did the four hour tour today. It included a workshop at the end where we created our own street art.
Our guide Josh not only guided us to fabulous street art, he shared his wealth of knowledge about the history and politics behind the creations. This isn’t some cheesy touristy walk - you’ll walk away with a good understanding of the genre. You’ll never walk around an urban area in the same way again - you’ll have new ways of “seeing” street art that you never noticed before.
Wear comfy shoes as you’ll be walking a fair bit. If it’s raining, bring an umbrella and wear a rain coat. And bring your curiosity and be ready to be inspired!
L. E.
My friends and I booked the 2-hour Bike Tour and we saw and learnt SO much. Gary, our guide, was brilliant – he had extensive knowledge of the street art, and was superb at avoiding crowds and busy roads. This is worth booking, even if you are a novice cyclist, as we went at a leisurely pace and stopped regularly to hear information and take photos. We thoroughly enjoyed it – definitely worth booking! We all now want to do the 4-hour tour.
M. N. X.
Awesome Street Art Tour with our brilliant guide Gary last Friday. Fascinating tour in the East End. As well as the great art, what we really loved is how Gary put everything in context, we learnt so much about the history of the area and the people, as well as the art itself, the artists, their various styles and techniques, and the meaning behind the art works. Thanks for a great afternoon!! Very highly recommend.
J. G.
I can highly recommend this tour and workshop. I did it for my daughter and her birthday. We learnt loads from the friendly & knowledgeable Gary. And with a bonus go at spraying our own stencil at the end. Thanks.
M. L.
An informative and wide-ranging walking tour. Altough the heart of the activity is undoubtably the steet artists and their work. Gary had the knowledge to be able to weave in the history, culture and traditions of the area that underpinned the art work. Without a doubt a five star experience.
J. B.
Gary lead us on a fascinating tour of the East End , imparting a truly impressive amount of insightful history while introducing us to the world of street art and graffiti. We didn't stop learning throughout the whole experience and to top it off we had great fun under Gary's expert tuition creating our own street art in the workshop that followed. Gary couldn't have been a better guide, don't hesitate - book and enjoy!
J. M.
Had a fantastic time on this tour, which not only opened my eyes to how much street art is around us but also to the history of London's East End. I learned so much, saw so much, and enjoyed so much. Gary was a great guide: he has a wealth of knowledge but was also able to field all our questions about what we were seeing. Can't recommend this highly enough: it will open your eyes and your mind!
J. E.
Gary was brilliant! Incredible knowledge and the in depth details of each artist's background and techniques used were really insightful!!!
Proper good day out.
S. M.
Amazing bike tour! We learnt so much about the history of London and the street art. Gary is a true expert, really knowledgable about the art, the artists and the role of street art in the community. He had loads of information that you could never find online or in a guide book. The bike part of the tour was safe, relaxed and avoided busy roads.
A. O.
I booked the street art tour for my dad's birthday this May, after having been a couple of years before - it was just as brilliant as the first time, and an almost entirely different experience! The tour was really fascinating, and well-led by our knowledgeable and friendly guide Gary. I'll definitely be recommending it to more friends and will almost certainly go again since the art is always changing and it's such good value for money!
M. K.
Not too often t you come across a man that his be love for his work is so apparent and infectious. Gary was an amazing tour guide and demonstrated a deep knowledge regarding everything that there is to know about shoreditch, its people and their art. Highly recommended!
R. S.
We had an interesting afternoon learning about street art. Knowledgeable guide and a well explained workshop after. Thanks.
J. C.
I enjoyed very much meeting the east side of London. Visually it is really interesting and you get to see artwork from renowned artists, but also from new and promising ones. I recommend this to everyone who are interested in learning/understanding/accepting a bit more street art.
S. H.
This was bought for me as a birthday present and was fantastic. Was given great insight into graffiti and street art history with a bit of London history thrown in. Loads of info on artists and there styles of work and about the whole culture.
Would highly recommend to anyone interested in any form of art.
Thanks for a great tour
E.
A fantastic private tour of the East End of London! I highly recommend doing a tour with this company - it will change the way you look at not only London but all cities. A big thank you to Jenny for her super organisation skills, and to Gary for conducting a brilliant tour - our group loved it!
P. N.
Really enjoyed this alternative guide to London and learning about the art from the small pieces you don't notice until someone in-the-know tells you - up to the large sponsored pieces of work covering a building. Knowledgeable, enthusiastic and open minded guide. If you have an idea of what you would like to see - tell the guide so they can customise. We saw quite a lot of graffiti and heard the very interesting stories that occur behind the scenes! I would probably have preferred a few more of the larger art pieces ... it is all available in East London. Recommend this tour.
T. O.
Thoroughly recommended. Accept no substitutes! A great reminder to take the time to look up, down and all around, whenever you are on the move.
Courtesy of Gary we enjoyed a fascinating tour of East End street art, complete with the histories and techniques of the variety of artists who have left their mark on this area. And running through all that we were given a history of the East End, of the changes in its population and architecture and the battles fought and still being fought by its inhabitants, to live their lives their way.
A. B.
I have visited Shoreditch many times as I am from London, but I took this tour with my university and really had my eyes opened to how much I had missed around the area!
Gary was incredibly knowledgeable of not only the street art in the area, but also the complex development issues going on - including both the grassroots response and the policy/planning agenda for the area.
One thing that really stood out for me was the amount of local people that stopped to say hi, not only to Gary but our whole group. It was amazing to get so much insight and information from someone so strongly embedded in the community. Alternative London aren’t just a local tour operating group, they are community members bringing you into the area and showing you what’s really going on.
I can’t recommend this tour enough, whether your are visiting London or a native Londoner!
S. P.
Our second time taking the tour. Great tour guide with lots of local knowledge about the history of the area. Truly fascinating and a great way to consider lots of current issues in the street art world. In particular the tension between graffiti counter culture and mainstream establishment acceptance. Fantastic value for money and unmissable walking tour
L. M.
We booked a private tour for our wedding with Alternative London and had a great experience. We learned so much about the history and street art of East London. Our guide Gary was very passionate, incredibly knowledgeable and just a very cool guy. Everyone loved it! Thank you so much!
J. S.
The best walking tour I've been on. I took my teenage daughter's and their friend visiting from Germany and they all loved it. Emily, our guide was friendly, knowledgeable about both the street art and the area and has encouraged us all to take in more of our surroundings when in London. We miss so much! The workshop was great fun, loved spraying the walls and making our own art. I have already recommended it to my friends who are booking next week!
a. e.
Was fascinating, but now for all the hypersensitive and triggered ***holes, the super cute tour guide appeared rushed so we were unable to ask questions. Was pretty cool graffiti though and insight into Brick Lane. I'm sure my larger pool of friends would enjoy it too 👍🏼
S. J.
Absolutely amazing tour! Learnt so much and in such a relaxed way. I hundred per cent recommend it
L. S.
My partner and I had been on this tour several years ago and really enjoyed it, both the historic and the street art aspects. When my friends from abroad visited, we thought this would be a great way for them to get to know East London. The tour guide Emily was fantastic, really engaging and fun, but also clear (good for people who are not native English speakers) and easy to follow. Thank you.
F. P.
Absolutely great tour with enthousiastic guide. Can recommend this to everyone who wants to get to know London in a different way. It makes you look more detailed and curious to the colorful streets.
A. m.
the art tour was fascinating - I really leaned so much from Gary who was engaging and informative and fun! Highly recommended.
L. D.
This was my second Alternative London tour and I loved it even more than the first! Yaz was friendly, fun and so knowledgeable, there were loads of interesting facts about the local street art and history of the area. The food was of course, delicious! What a great idea for dining out in a new place.
J. M.
Emilie was our guide for the street art walking tour and she was absolutely brilliant! It is our first time visiting London and not only did she show us the beautiful street art that East London boasts, but she also explained the significance and history behind it. As an artist herself, she was educated and articulate and gave us a view of London we would never have seen by ourselves or with a more mainstream tour. I highly recommend!!
C. P.
Great Tour! Enjoyed the workshop. Josh is a great tour guide with lots of knowledge. He can also spray paint very well and provided lots of good advice so we could make a small pice of art we were happy with.
W. B.
Gary was an amazing guide with an incredible depth of knowledge and most importantly not only an observer but intimately involved in the community creating the art. Cannot recommend this tour enough! Excellent.
A. A.
Best tour my sister and I went on in London! Yasmine was our guide and she was very informative, entertaining and down to earth. She even stayed a little after the tour to make recommendations for us non locals on where to eat and what else to check out. It helped that she too was an artist and thus could really talk about the art from a very informed perspective. I can’t say enough about this tour!
T. S.
This was an unbelievable bike tour! Our guide knew so much—art, history, community... I was very impressed! I didn’t realize before this how much street art I was missing by just walking on by without seeing what was right in front of me. Our guide increased our awareness, educated us, and let us make decisions about where we were headed next. He was also very cool, and an artist, himself. Two thumbs up for sure!
P. A.
I cannot rate Alternative London highly enough
We booked onto the street art tour and workshop in late December 2018. The group size was supposed to be 6, fortunately for us, the other 4 didn't show up, so we had a private tour with Josh. His love for and knowledge of Street Art, art generally and the History of the East End was clear from the moment we started. As the tour went on and he learned what got a reaction from us, it became very bespoke looking at pieces that wouldn't normally be part of the tour.
The workshop piece was also brilliant and worth the price by itself.
H. M.
I've now taken this tour twice, and both times it's been exceptional. Tour guides are passionate and engaging, and have a great deal of knowledge to share. By the end, you'll look at the streets of ready London in a completely different way.
(And because of the nature of street art, if you also choose to revisit Alternative London you can expect the tour to be slightly different with new works to see, so going again was well worth it.)
A. D.
Great experience, learned alot about graffiti amd street art and culture
K. W.
I expected to find the East End walk interesting but had no idea how much I would enjoy it - the sun shone, so admittedly that was a bonus. We saw so much art at every turn- Josh knew exactly where to take us. He took us to places that I may not have ventured alone, and knew where new art had appeared the day before our trip.
I cannot imagine that the two teens who came with me could have enjoyed any other 2 hour plus walk as much. Lots of cool photos!
The workshop was great fun, even for those ( like me) with no art experience. Everyone created really original designs.
I would love to go back for more.
C. S.
Really interesting, friendly and insightful tour from Gary, seeing art we'd never find on our own. Whole family loved the workshop experience too.
M. R.
Eye-opening & fun - the tour was great! Many thanks to Josh for sharing his insights on London's art scene, most of us learnt so much new. We had a great time, and the workshop was the perfect end to a perfect tour. Keep up the good work!
G. K.
Yaz was an excellent tour guide! A friendly and informative tour, and tons of interesting conversation and delicious food! We even got info about the local art, architecture and the changes that the area seen in recent decades - all really interesting. Would definitely recommend- thanks Yaz!
C. T.
Really loved the Shoreditch food tour! Yaz was super friendly, chatty, knowledgable about the local area and flexible in tailoring the tour to our food preferences. Loads of food included in the price, so it was great value for money. Would definitely recommend!
d. t.
Many thanks to Lillie our French guide on a tour of Street Art last Friday.
It was very interesting, conducted at just the right pace and with sufficient information to make it well worth while. Her enthusiasm for the subject was infectious, too. Not forgetting, of course, the quality of the art on display - stunning.
I have already recommended you to friends of mine who have seen my photographs and now want to sort out a tour.
n. b.
Easily one of the best tours I've experienced to date, this group is a must see. We thoroughly enjoyed the alternative walking tour with Jasmine. She clearly loves and knows her neighbourhood and local artists. Next time in London I'd love to check out the biking street art tour or workshop.
D. S.
Awesome tour! We learned so much about the artists, culture and techniques of street art in East London. I highly recommend the add-on session where you get to use spray cans to create your own street art. This is a really fun tour!
P. L.
An excellent tour which I would highly recommend to anyone who would like to explore the artsy and creative sides of East London. Our guide Haylely was very knowledgeable and passionate. We bombarded her with loads of questions which she happily answered all in detail, never failing short on amusing us with humorous fun facts . Even the vegan restaurant she recommended at the end of the tour turned out to be the best one I've ever been to, and I have lived in London for many years.
In short: If you want to get to know an alternative, creative part of London, don't miss out on the Alternative London walking tours experience.
J. W.
A fantastic 2 hour tour of the street art, made us see things that we would otherwise have just walked passed! really friendly and knowledgeable guide, despite it being a cold and rainy day we thoroughly enjoyed our tour and would recommend to everyone. thank you so much for a great insight into London's street art.
s. f.
Great street art tour, really informed, informative and fun.
K. S.
Great tour & good time. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the area and told us stories about where historical events took place. It was nice to be shown around by a local and taken to pubs I wouldn't have normally gone to. She also provided great humor. Definitely recommend!
L. B.
I went on the Eaat london half day graffiti tour - it was fantastic! Josh was our tour guide, he was informative and shared the right level of information. The tour moved at a good pace and I discovered / learnt so much about graffiti/art work I have walked past for years (some pieces I have never noticed)
We then went to the studio and had afew hours to put some of the elements we'd learnt about graffiti into practise. It was a great way to finish off the tour and I'd highly recommend to add this 'studio' section on.
Thank you alternative london and Josh!
T. S.
Our guide was very knowledgeable about not just street art but the area that we were touring - very very passionate about both subjects which was passed along! Only drawback was we couldn't always hear him due to the size of the group - great tour though, and very reasonably priced. Was recommended to me and I will recommend it to others.
A. M.
Absolutely love their tours. Went twice...years apart. I recommend it to everyone I know when I find out they are going to London!! Will definitely go a third time since the street art is always changing
A. D.
Emilie was 👌. She knew her stuff and catered the tour to her audience. I left feeling like I'd learned loads and discovered some hidden gems in my own backyard. I had a ton of fun trying out spray painting. Big thanks 👍 and hope to join another tour again soon.
S. C.
We had a great experience with the Alternative Bike Tour in London. We fell in love with East London that we came back the next day and gave a street art tour to our other family members. Jeremy did an excellent job! Highly recommend.
J. D.
The Street Art walking tour was a great experience. Knowledgeable and engaging tour guide - great look into the East Side street art scene. Would recommend!
k. r.
We loved this tour! The guide was very interesting and had a lot of great stories and knew a lot of history about what made the East end into what it is today along with knowing a lot about the street art and artists. Great job!
K. L.
This was my second time taking the tour. On this occasion with my teenaged godchildren who enjoyed it very much. Gary, our guide, provided interesting historical background which helped keep all engaged. Highly recommended!
T. B.
We spent a fantastic afternoon with Emily walking through a very dynamic neighborhood and learning about art and local culture in a way we would never have had access to on our own. We have a new appreciation for the diversity and creativity of street artists that honestly has already changed our perspective as we navigate around the city. Fringe benefit - my son and I are now in a battle royale to score more points on the FlashInvaders app...
N. L.
Went on the street art bike tour with my boyfriend. Our guide was a really knowledgable and nice guy from Perth. He knew so much! He took us to some really amazing pieces, and taught us how to distinguish BS promotional stuff from the real deal. Best fifteen pounds I've ever spent; not kidding!
S. W.
Josh is a fantastic guide. You'll see real street art and the history or the neighborhood. If you want trendy Banksy viewing go about on your own. This is a nice tour spreading the word of street artists and the neighborhood.
j. d. m.
Our guide, Kia, had a great personality for this tour. Funny, knowledgable, and answered absolutely everyone's questions. I most liked hearing some of the history/political situation behind certain street art locales. The tour went by quickly, and we would not have minded going longer. Would do again, and would like to buy our guide a drink if given the chance. (PS--wear a bit of suncream if there's even a chance it's not raining :D THANKS
L. S.
Great tour! Even little extra tips and historic information along the way. Defiantly recommend.
J. M.
The best and only artist run tour in Shoreditch... All the other tours in the area are companies or followers.
I have done tours with alternative for 3 years and always appreciate the unique tour, background stories and knowledge they have on the area, artists and culture.
Go nowhere else for tours!!
m. p.
Wonderful tour with Sean...he was so knowledgeable, and clearly has a love of all things street art (he's an artist himself).......he cheerfully answered any questions the group had, and opened my eyes to what street art is all about, and where to look for it...it was a great time!
Y. H.
Keir is an amazing guide, his passion is infectious, knowledge is mind blowing and ability to go deep into stuff is truly amazing. I will never look at London the way i did before. Stop reading reviews already and just get those tickets.
T. M.
We completed the Street Art and Street Food Tour as a business group. Everyone had a fantastic time. The Guide was brilliant, knowledgeable, interesting, flexible and fun. Highly recommended.
C. J.
Great tour and workshop with Emily who was really engaging, super passionate and knowledgeable about the ever-changing face of street art. Highly recommend!
C. C.
We spent a great sunny afternoon discovering different pubs around spitafields. We tasted different ales . Rachel also tought us about street art and artistic Life in London.
It was with no doubt a wonderful moment og pur stay in London
Y. D.
A great and very interesting ride through the East End with a highly competent guide. This tour will make you feel like to go street-art-hunting on your own in other places of the city.
J. H.
Josh was an amazing passionate guide who obviously lives this artform and wants others to as well. I understand...a bit more...about it now and while i can't agree with it totally, i appreciate now the degrees of artistic expertise needed for this ever evolving artform. Visually stunning and thought provoking. Thanks Josh!
A. S.
Took the street art tour, saw many amazing styles, didn't know graffiti could be so interesting. At the end each of us got to spray paint our own piece of art! That was fun!
K. S.
Today was my 3rd Alternative London Tour, and once again I thoroughly enjoyed it! I would definitely recommend this to anyone even curious about ALT London.
S. B.
If you miss this tour, you will miss the essence of London then and now. The East End is a microcosm of the world, a living symbol of the inequality that exists today between the very rich and the very poor. It has its roots in the waves of immigrants who came to this country, contributed to the nation and then were left behind by the culture of Money. Do not miss Gary and his dedicated crew of guides who speak about this dichotomy through the language of street art.
G. S.
Great tour! Emily our guide knew everything there was to know and shared it with us in a very humorous way. Nice getting a different view on graffiti.
G. N.
Just want to say that Josh was amazing… His authenticity and enthusiasm for East London, the art, the culture, the economic changes, the history, and the diversity of people that make it… Helped me see a part of London and amazing art that I never would've seen & never knew existed! Bravo, mate
M. R.
Excellent and informative tour. Would repeat in a heart beat
S. F.
Amazing experience. This was a gift and we did the food tour, and our guide was Yas. She was knowledgable, friendly and entertaining. We learned so much about the area and local food. I would happily pay to do this again.
P. K.
Wonderful tours by foot. The guides do their job with passion and you'll get to see a different face of London. I liked it very much!
J. B.
A unique and incredible experience. The best way to discover London's hidden art culture
a. s.
What a wonderful street art tour! I discovered a lot of original artworks hidden in bricklane area, thanks to Ben, he's really passionate about engaged art and knows how to communicate about it :)
M. L.
The street art workshop was loads of fun. The first half we walked around Shoreditch and brick lane looking at street art, then we got to have a go ourselves!
A. R.
Took the street art biking tour in April of 2019 and could not recommend it more - our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable about the constantly-changing work in the area, took a lot of input from the participants regarding what we most wanted to see, and - most importantly for me - was very happy to engage in deeper conversations (once asked, never imposed) about values in the street art community, how artists contribute to/clash with/collaborate with the larger residential community, and how money, politics, and power shape artists' decisions.
y. b.
We took the street art tour and it was great! I learned a lot about the area and about street art in general. Now I will look for this kind of tour everywhere I go.
E. G.
Loved the street art tour of East London. Lots of information and a great way to spend a couple of hours in the city.
N.
Really interesting and informative. Discovered some fantastic art that I would otherwise never have noticed or stumbled upon. Great start to the day. Highly recommend!
C. S.
We went on a street art tour and workshop for a team event with our studio. Everyone had a great time on both and especially the workshop!
E. F.
Couldn't recommend this more. Really good tour and very informative too. We had Josh as our tour guide, he was knowledgaknow, friendly and good fun.
K. C.

G. M. D.
Nice option for walking tour of East London. Informative. "Current". Had the opportunity at the end to create our own street art!
K. D.
This was the best walking tour I've ever taken. I learned a lot of nuances about the local graffiti scene and East London history.
S. P.
More than expected. Our guide, Emily, was absolutely lovely and truly knowledgeable about street art.
K. G.
We had a great time. Really interesting.
C. B.

(Translated) Very exciting and rewarding walk in the area of Spitafields and Shoreditch. Our guide showed us both small works and frescoes, all with historical and technical background information.

Balade très enthousiasmante et enrichissante dans le secteur de Spitafields et Shoreditch. Notre guide nous a fait voir autant des petites oeuvres que des fresques le tout avec des informations de contexte historique et techniques.

(Translated) Very nice discovery !!! The course was very rich in diversity. Our guide focused on the different types of urban interventions as well as their meaning, message and delivery technique. At the end of the visit, we did a practical workshop with stencils and colored bombs ... it was great to be able to try after seeing all these beautiful achievements in the street. Many thanks to our guide Georges.

(Translated) January 9 I did a tour with Josh. It was cold and it was drizzling but it was doable. Josh knew a lot and told in a super fun and fascinating way so that the weather did not matter. I definitely recommend this if you are going to London for a long weekend to do something different. Even if you don't know anything about street art, it's nice to look at the city in a different way.

(Translated) We took the French tour of East London, specifically the Brick Lane area. The visit was very interesting, it is particularly oriented towards Street Art (magnificent!). The guide (Lily), herself an artist, was very dynamic and told us lots of anecdotes. She taught us to look at street works differently, to detect techniques, meanings etc.
We had a misunderstanding regarding the departure time of the tour but we called Alternative London and they quickly managed to find a solution.
I highly recommend this tour and this agency!

(Translated) For this amazing trip, I have to thank Doug. This is another side of London, it is amazing! If it wasn't for this trip, I might never go to the East End of London. I am very happy that I have gone. Here you will find many interesting things. Moreover, in the end, I went to the Spitalfield market, and there are many things.
