Highly recommended! I doubted how I would explore London, and eventually went for the bike. A private company as the public bicycles are not big enough for my posture. Choice of different bikes and sizes, racing bikes, city bikes, electric bikes, ... for a fair price. You also get a sturdy lock and a helmet. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Eventually more than 100 km cycled in 2 days time without any problem!

A bike tour is the absolutely best way to see any city, and London is no exception! The best way to see London by bike is to do it on a bike tour with London bicycle tour company! I ended up doing 2 tours: the Christmas lights tour and the Classic tour! Both great for different reasons. The Classic tour gives you an excellent overview of the city centre and the main sights and the Christmas lights tour is awesome for photoshooting sessions. Jordi was our tour leader for the Christmas lights tour and he is very knowledgeable about the city and everything! He also speaks many languages, which is nice! Nadja led the Classic tour and is brilliant, fun and great to be around! She kept a great balance between history, personal stories and jokes about the sights that we visited making the tour pleasant for everyone in the group! The pace of both tours was ideal: not too fast, not too slow, making it comfortable and safe for all! London is quite bike friendly as well, so you won't feel much of the traffic of the city. The bikes they have are strong, reliable and were in great condition! They also have enough gears to cope with the minimum inclines of London. To conclude, if you are thinking about it, just do it and you won't regret it! Thank you London bicycle tour company!

We did the original tour. Friendly service, really slick organisation, good bikes, great guide called George and really interesting route. Such a fun way to see parts of London you wouldn't necessarily visit. Lots of interesting stories and history. Good mix of road and path cycling. Felt safe even with a 10 year old. I did the Love London tour and really enjoyed it! Ollie was our tour guide and he was knowledgeable and entertaining. I am a cyclist in the states but have never cycled in such a busy city - you will go through some heavy traffic areas and busy pedestrian areas so I wouldn’t recommend this tour for young kids. Overall it was fantastic and I got to see many great sights in a London!

We did the English language tour yesterday with Catherine. It was a great way to see many of the major sites on bike. Our group was made up half of West Coast folks and half East Coast NY, NJ and Boston all East Coast folks here to see the Yankees play the Red Sox. We really enjoyed this tour and highly recommend it. We stopped often and it was therefore not stressful. Enjoy!!

We just finished the Christmas Lights Guided Bike tour. Our tour guide, Ollie, was wonderful! Entertainingly informative & friendly! The route allowed us to see so many of the wonderful London neighborhoods and get into the residential parts of the city. Amazing! We did have several issues with the bike equipment, however. Our group had 5 flat tires during the 3.5 hour tour. We even ended up having to rent a Santander to get back because one of the bikes was not fixable. Ouch! Other than the bike issues, it was a 5-star experience. Thanks Ollie!

Worth doing a classic cycle tour around 3 hours.. Change of gaurd at Buckingham Palace is the highlight of the tour.. Olley was our guide, he is active and entertaining.. Last hour of the tour felt boring not so much to see.. Could have stopped near London eye when passing by..

Dominic was our tour guide and he was perfect!!!! very knowledgeable, relaxed, helpful, offered to take photos and really knew the city well. I did the three hour tour with Alissa today and it was fantastic. Bike easy to ride, helmet supplied and a minimum of traffic to deal with. Alissa was a friendly and informative guide who lead us competently through London's streets, stopping at significant landmarks for photo ops and some history. The youngest rider in the group was around 13 and the oldest about 70 (I'm 67 and it was quite easy for me). I highly recommend this tour.

I did the Central Tour (in Italian) with 3 friends and 4 other people yesterday. I really liked the experience and I would reccomend it to both tourists and Londoners since you can discover new things/ facts of London and see hidden parts of this amazing city. I would advice people who do not usually use bikes and maybe are not too confident, to do the tour on a Sunday morning since there is a more relaxed feeling and less traffic around. Zelda was great! Our tour was delayed by viewing all the events of the 100th Anniversary of the RAF at Buckingham Palace. Saw the 100 aircraft flyby Trafalgar Square and even the Queen!! We volunteered to make up some time on the return, but Zelda couldn't resist stopping and showing us each sight, even though we were about 1.5 hours delayed. the tour is organized well, with the right times for both trips and breaks. offers a complete way to see a part of the city from outside without too much effort and the choice of cycle paths are pleasant. personally I did not like the always and excessive theatricality of the guide, to the limit of the annoying.

My son and I went on a 3 hour tour of London with Alissa. We went on a Sunday, which probably involves less traffic. We are American but went with a mostly Dutch group. Alissa is fluent in both English and Dutch so we not only got a wonderfully interesting tour of two sides of the Thames, we learned some Dutch as well! No reservations were required. We just showed up when they asked us to, showed our "London Pass" cards and enjoyed the trip.

This was a thoroughly enjoyable morning's ride. I went on a tour with about 12 other tourists and we whizzed round the town causing chaos and congestion behind us. The bike I hired was a well maintained hybrid and the guide was an engaging, but horribly inaccurate leader - no, the National Portrait Gallery is NOT the British Museum, the Queen does not own ALL of Australia and half of the USA, the City of London is not a separate country and finally the Knights Templar and Rosicrucians did not found the City of London long before the Romans arrived and set up camp in Londinium. I'm hoping the rest of the guides aren't conspiracy theorists! I would hire one of their bikes again, and having done the tour, would be more confident of riding solo through the town.

Rob and his team organised and executed a bespoke tour for a sponsored cycle ride to raise funds for a charity with which I am a fundraiser. On the basis of a rough specification they planned the route and guided us in small groups around a 27 mile route of south-east and east London, taking in some fantastic sights along the way. They also provided bikes for those of us who didnt bring our own. Most of the route was away from the roads and traffic too. For a small charity without the resources or the motivation to organise a large-scale event this was a very cost-effective way of arranging things. Everyone I dealt with was very friendly. Rob was great throughout and even organised the sandwiches for the end of ride recovery lunch. The tour guide in the group I was riding with was very friendly and knowledgable. These guys really know London and they really know cycling - I have no hesitation in recommending them - and I hope you have a great outing with them.
