I’m a Solo Canoe coach and thought I’d have a go at Kayaking and see a different perspective of London from the Thames. The whole experience from start to finish was so effortless, Harry really has worked hard on getting you briefed and straight in the water. His kit is great and I was so comfortable. They say there’s some things money can’t buy and the feeling of being lost in the sun setting as you paddle down the Thames for me will be one of those moments. Don’t underestimate how much you get to see on this trip and Harrys historical knowledge is fascinating! I’ll be back for sure and I cannot recommend Harry enough, if you’re a beginner and even slightly nervous he’s totally got you covered. If you want some ace instagram pics, he’s got you covered there too!!

Fun guides, felt safe and really was a beautiful experience from Battersea to Greenwich in the evening. Lost a star as I was paired with a man who barely paddled, didn't steer with the foot pedals and had been drinking and was reclining so sinking at the back and lifting the front. This made paddling extra hard for me... just as well I enjoy a graft! Would've enjoyed it more paddling solo. Also, I wasn't confident about the Covid situation and felt my apprehension was completely overlooked. However, I highly recommend the experience and I would return... to have many photos sent to you as amazing memories for free was incredible.

Such a great day out with the London Kayak Co!! :) Harry and his team are both hilarious and professional so you know you're in good hands on the river. You get a fun photo shoot by Tower Bridge but Harry is constantly snapping away on the trip as well so you get some amazing pics to take home. We also had a seal join us for a little way! Will be recommending this to everyone I know - just make sure you take a travel sickness tablet if you're susceptible!

i had no kayaking experience before doing this but what a fantastic experience. The instructors were professional, friendly and we felt completely safe in their hands. Seeing the sights of London on the Thames was a fun and unique experience. would recommend highly.

Yes! You can kayak in London in December. We had so much fun on 12/28/19 with this trip from charming Greenwich to Chelsea/Battersea. Harry and Keith were great guides and we loved experiencing the Thames and learning about the history. It was pretty amazing to get so close to bridges and places along the way. The gear was good, the boats were stable and we felt like we were in good hands the whole time. Must do this if you love to paddle or think you might!

Brilliant trip down the River Thames with London Kayak Company. Traveling from Greenwich to Battersea/ Chelsea. Awesome instructors who allow you to experience London from a completely different perspective. Providing plenty of time to enjoy all the sights and take in all the history. No previous kayaking experience required.

We had to cancel our booking a day before the scheduled time. Out of goodwill, the team refunded us, even though I can understand and appreciate their frustration with such short notice and the potential inability to resell the refunded ticket / space. Apologies for inconvenience caused and many thanks for the flexibility. This is putting customer satisfaction in front of everything else and I value that. We did the Greenwich to battersea kayak today and it was really awesome. Booking was easy and contrary to other reviews I found the company extremely communicative when I had questions ahead of our trip and they were flexible when I needed to shift to a different day. When we turned up it was all very easy and clearly explained. Guides were so friendly, knowledgeable about history and most of all very funny - made for a really fun few hours. Lots of gear provided to keep you dry and warm (but do consider your own gloves and hat on a cold day, and suncream on a warm one!). They take lots of pictures of you so no need to risk your phone taking a dip in the Thames by getting it out for a selfie. Definitely recommend, thanks Tom Harry and Chris for an excellent trip!

Fantastic morning out on the water on 07/05/2021, with the dynamic duo of Harry and Chris!!!! Professional and knowledgable on all fronts for a wonderful paddle from Deptford to the London Eye and back-almost 20 km so a good workout! A great experience all round and I will be recommending them to everyone I know. We totally lucked out with the weather and our group raised some funds for the amazing Ahoy Centre charity. Hands down the best Friday vibes I’ve had in a long time!!! ☀️😎🙌🏼🚣🏻‍♀️👍🏼

we had an amazing afternoon with Harry and his team, constantly encouraging, giving fun facts and making the whole kayak experience engaging and interactive especially for the kids. My 11 year old thoroughly loved being with his personal guide Tom. I cannot recommend this enough. If you are an outdoor person looking for something totally different to do, then this is what you've been looking for.

My daughter and I finally took our London vacation and in addition to the usual sights we really wanted to do something special and unique. I found the London Kayak Company online and immediately booked a trip from Greenwich to Battersea. We kayak periodically around our home state of Maine and have kayaked in Alaska as well but I still didn’t know what to expect from the Thames. Simply stated it was fantastic! Our guides had everything we needed and wasted no time gearing us up. I knew we were in very capable hands. The trip itself is perfect. You start with a few miles of relatively calm river to work out the bugs of traveling with a group of folks with very different experience levels. That’s followed by an amazing trip through all of Central London’s most famous landmarks while navigating some very exciting water. Our guides were snapping photos the whole time so we could focus on paddling and not worry about dropping phones or capsizing. Once past Vauxhall Bridge the river traffic quiets down and we had a few miles of relaxing paddling to end our trip. My daughter and I have done a lot of fun things during our London visit but this was something special. Cheers to our guides for a very memorable day. You’re the best!

We had a fantastic time on our Kayak Bus Tour, going from Albert Bridge all the way to Greenwich with Harry and Olaf. They were both fantastic, funny, and skillful guides and we felt very safe with them. The kayaks are quite stable and the waterproofs did their job. We would definitely recommend going with this company for a unique way to see the city!
