Absolutely fabulous cruise down the Thames. Have taken a dinner/lunch cruise twice now with my mum. The cruise is so relaxing and such a pleasant atmosphere. The commentator is great, very entertaining. The food is delicious, staff very friendly. Would highly recommend this trip.

We did the Thames Dinner Cruise to celebrate my 40th birthday and it was an absolutely amazing experience from start to finish. The staff were very helpful, friendly and professional, from the moment we boarded they could do enough to help. The food was out of this world. The sights were amazing and the lady entertainer was fabulous. Would definitely recommend this experience to anyone wanting to see London at night.

The experience was wonderful and made for the perfect end to our trip to London. From the welcome glass of Prosecco, the cruise, despite choppy water, was very smooth. The food was beautiful, particularly the dessert - I had seconds as a waitress had a spare and offered me it. Our waiter was a young man and very attentive, friendly and hard-working. The performer, Michaela, was very entertaining, a fab voice and great presence. Sailing the Thames, seeing the city lit up in the night. Amazing and would do again for a special occasion.

My husband and I enjoyed a great Saturday night on the river boat cruise. The food was really good and well presented. The staff were really friendly and professional, kept our glasses full! A fantastic singer kept us entertained and after dinner the dancing began. The only negative I would add is would have loved it to last longer. Once again , great night.

Great evening out but room for improvement. 1 : you have to share long tables with other guests and if you are close to the window you have to pass your plates via other guests due to the position of the table (not ideal). 2 : If you sit by the window the waiters tend to ignore you more (as its not so easy. for them to get to you). 3 : The singer was great, but the two sets she did were very very short.

Superb dinner cruise for my birthday. Efficient, friendly staff who were all lovely. Great 5 course menu and decent wines and excellent live music. And then we had a suitably romantic table by the window with the night-time London riverside lights passing by us. I would say it's one of the best things I've done in London, and well up to the standard of the Parisian Bateaux Mouches. Strongly recommend.

We thought the cruise was really professional, a lovely experience. The food was good considering being on a boat, it was very well organised with very good service etc. The booking agent never told us the name of the boat we were boarding and we spent a long time trying to find it so this could have been greatly improved, but other than that we was extremely happy with the evening, and would fully recommend.

Sunday jazz afternoon cruise was a fantastic way to spend our early evening. The views were stunning because it was dark (november) and London looks amazing at night. The food was good and the ship was laid out nice. Definitely recommend a window seat for a nice evening on the Thames.

The cruise itself was fine as was the food. However, the waiter on our table could have learned some manners that night. We had pre-ordered our wine at a cost of £23 when making the booking. The wine list given to us had 2 white wines with the most expensive being £22.50. we asked the waiter for our pre-ordered wine and was abruptly asked red or white when it was clear on our order we had ordered white. My response was I would like my pre-ordered wine and abruptly asked again red or white. Eventually they brought us a wine that was not on the wine list.

The reason why I rate this 4star is because at first, all the tables were full that we were so close to the next table, almost like we were together in one table! It was so awkward we didnt even feel comfortable talking. Thankfully, i think some people didnt show up at the next table that the people beside us were moved. I think they shouldnt book the boat that full that it ends up feeling so cramped. Aside from that, the food was lovely, singer was great, people enjoyed dancing. All in all, turned out to be a fantastic night.

It was a fantastic evening! The live entertainment hadn't turned up so the boat offered 2 free drinks per head which was great. The weather happened to be perfect for the eve and by the time we were travelling back the light had failed and all of the stunning lights along the Thames were lit; it's amazing how different the famous buildings look lit up from the river.. especially from the deck above. The staff were friendly and greeted us with sparkling white wine upon arrival. The only criticism I would have is that the canapes were not vegetarian as stated on the original application form and the waitress didn't mention this when offering the trays around. Two of them contained beef so it was lucky I asked. There were plenty of canapes though so nobody would go hungry on these trips! It was my son's 30th birthday and we got the best seats in the bow area, which was perfect for celebrating with the cake we brought on board towards the end of the trip..! Overall a brilliant night; thanks so much

Great night, free bottle of Champaign on arrival, best seat are window seats, but people rush to them and put there coats on them and didn't even sit at the table, canapa was nice, boat only went 30mins up river turned back and repeated, turned at tower bridge was expected to see dome :-(

My wife and I did the Showboat cruise recently - a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The four course meal was good and served in generous proportions, staff very attentive, plenty of space on the boat without overcrowding. Due to Covid we had been led to expect background music instead of the live band which is usually part of the package, but as a nice bonus they had a live singer/hostess who kept us all entertained. Would definitely recommend.

I booked this to propose to my partner ... due to it being summer time there wasn't much lights BUT we had sunset views down the thames was beautiful. The singer was just amazing really made the experience. Im sure without the covid restrictions it would be even better but the staff did an amazing job , the food supplied was lovely and as described on the website. Staff were very polite and helpful. It really did make the proposal that extra special 😊 i would defo recommend. Worth the money.

Had a great four course meal on this cruise. There was plenty of room although it was busy. When we arrived we were given a glass of sparkling wine and shown to our table. Our first course of salmon mousse with prawns was already set out. It was very tasty as was the soup and breast of chicken with vegetables and dauphinois potatoes. This was followed by a very nice chocolate cheesecake. The wine which is included tasted nice also. The staff worked hard all night , this ensured nobody was waiting too long for their food.. The only let down of the night was the on board singer, she’s not very good. However she’s not on for too long and once the disco started everyone was up dancing. It was obvious everyone was having a really good time. We certainly enjoyed ourselves. I would recommend this cruise and I would do it again.

Took my boyfriend for the lunch cruise for his birthday. Ambience on the boat was great. Informative with nice scenery. Really enjoyed the starter. but main course was not seasoned well. Dessert was okay but could have had at least two options to choose from. Overall it was a lovely experience, would probably try the evening dinner cruise next time.

Nice experience! Staff was very very attentive! Cruise was also nice, we were able to walk around, have a chat, enjoy ourself and get all we need from the waiting staff. Music was also nice and went well with the dinner. Having said all that - the food I'd say was below expectations. First of all we could see that other tables has other type of starter and deserts which was strange, that we didn't get to choose. But hey, it's not the end of the world, cause starters and deserts were the best bit of food. Soup was horrible - it was literally tomato soup from Heinz can... without any other additions, so I'd say it's 1/10. The main - chicken was also something that I was cooking for myself when I was a student.. Simple chicken breast with the same Heinz tomato soup on top as a sauce... veggies were defrosted and not looking very good... You can definitely enjoy the cruise, make sure you get couple bottles of wine/prossecco so you don't feel how bad food will be. Other than food - all exp was really really nice! Would recommend.

I love dinner cruises. Reserved a premium lunch cruise, which came with a fantastic seat by the window. Waitstaff was awesome. The menu and wine were good, not great. I couldn't always hear the commentary and the cabin got a little warm at times. Would I do it again? YES!

I took my dad to this for a little 70th celebration and to say thank you for being great, just me and him. He loves London and boats so it was perfect setting. We asked for a good table before we arrived and had one by the window which was the best setting to view the river side building and take the city in. We were lucky with the weather too. Food was good portions and well presented, perhaps a little bland but it wasn't a big deal. Service was fine and our waiter was cheery and introduced himself by name. Toilets were clean and the atmosphere generally bright and busy. I wished it went all the way round to the 02 though, we were expecting that. All in all a unique way to have unch in our favourite city.

1. Food The lamb dish was disappointing and the accompanying potato fondant was undercooked. The chicken dish was bland and boring. The only nice dish was the fish which was perfectly cooked. The treacle tart was average and the white opera gateau was nice but the icing on top was very runny. 2. Wine The wine list is really limited. We tried several makes of wine but they were all average at best and very overpriced. The white wasn't quite chilled enough. They ran out of ice mid service. 3. Ambience The boat looked smart however some of the guests were not dressed very smartly despite the strict dress code, which is probably not strictly enforced. 4. Service The service was good. 5. Entertainment The musicians and the singer were very good. 6. Other The cruise did not go all they way to the Thames Barriers, probably because the embarcation started slightly late and took a long time. One of our foreign visitors wanted to see the barrier and therefore left slightly disappointed.

Brilliant! Wanted a great surprise and something different for my wife's 50th birthday, and so booked a dinner cruise. Absolutely perfect and couldn't fault it in anyway! Food was great (hake as main course was perfect, and my wife's chicken dish was also lovely), service was great (waitress was friendly and efficient), the live band and singer were great.....and the view was amazing. Booked a window table and well worth the extra to ensure an uninterrupted view as London glides by! Would definitely recommend and would definitely go again!!

The experience per sé is lovely and you see London as you would not otherwise. The boat is amazing and the view is great. BUT...we were very disappointed with the portions of the dishes: it is supposed to be a five course meal but it is likely to end the dinner with the feeling of having had only a starter! This is a shame because this factor make the dinner less pleasant and a bit disappointing. I would encourage the chef to be more generous so that next guests on the boat will have a wonderful night. Highly recommended!

This was definitely a highlight of our visit to London. Elegant, first class dining experience. I would highly recommend this tour for people. We took the Premier package (good seats, wine included etc.) and were not disappointed. And really when you think about it for BP49/person it is reasonably good value.

It was a magical evening seeing the iconic London buildings all lit up along the banks of the Thames. We received a warm welcome as we boarded and met our very helpful waiter Gabriel. Our food was delicious and the timing for the 2.45 hour cruise was impeccable. It was all the more enjoyable thanks to the excellent jazz band and singer. We managed to fit in 2 or 3 dances. The Thames Dinner Cruise is an excellent and enjoyable way to see the Thames in the evening/night. The view is amazing and service/staff quick and friendly. We were less impressed by the food, which may be due to us or by coincidence. The musicians played well, traditional jazz. More annoying were other passengers who were quite noisy and contributed to the lack of one more star.

This place is awesome and very patient with guest. Me and my girlfriend visited London for the first time and we didn't really knew are way around town. Our lunch cruise was suppose to begin at 1pm and I believe that is the time we got there after figuring out which train to catch and locating our ship. The staff we nice enough to let us on after arriving late and they were nothing much super nice to us. The food was AMAZING and the view is very nice. Definitely will have to do this again.

I didn't realize how fancy this cruise would be, and showed up underdressed. Regardless, the food wasn't bad and the views were nice. The boat provided a nice smooth ride, and I had a lovely time on our lunch tour. It makes sense for economy's sake that the audio would be prerecorded, but it still would have been nice to have an actual person to ask questions and hear from. Oh, and £4 for a bottle of water is insane. If you don't upgrade to the expensive tour, every single drink costs money... even a glass of water.

An excellent afternoon on the Thames. This was our second trip with Thames Dinner Cruises, this One being for my husbands "BIG" birthday and we both thoroughly enjoyed it. The food was fabulous, all the staff (on shore and onboard) were first class, service with a smile. If There were anything I would change, I would only suggest that some sort of sun shade was available to pull down at the top of the window on the symphony, as it was brilliant sunshine and it became incredibly hot. But that aside, I would like to say a very big thank you for a wonderful afternoon.

The experice was very nice, staff were helpful and the food was excellent. Things I didn't like was that the staff all wore jeans, just didn't feel that was appropriate, just a personal thing. We were sat near live plants which had a fly issue and although we did report it nothing was made of it but you were constantly swatting fruit flies.

My partner and I went on a lunch cruise starting from tower bridge pier. The food was good. Large portion of chicken with mushroom sauce, al dente veg and potatoes for main course. Bread roll provided. Desert of raspberry and chocolate panna cotta was delicious. Choice of tea or coffee afterwards. Our server was very pleasant. We ordered drinks and paid separately for them (price of set meal does not include alcoholic drinks). Water with ice was supplied free and topped up frequently. We had window seats which provided a good view of the Thames. We went under tower bridge, past the houses of parliament, the needle, the millennium wheel and other landmarks. The loos were clean. We had a wonderful time! My only slight criticism would be that the serving and eating of the meal took up almost all of the time allowed. We had about 5 minutes up on deck after eating and would have liked longer.

A small group of us did the Symphony Dinner Cruise for my Mum's 80th birthday. To be honest I was slightly cynical about what to expect but I couldn't recommend it more. Three hours zipped by. The menu, although fairly small (four choices per course) was varied and excellent quality. I don’t eat meat but the fish and vegetarian options were very good. Food was excellently presented and portion sizes good. It was also delicious!! The live music was of a high standard but not too noisy to be intrusive (I organise events for large organisations and I would definitely book them or look into privately hiring the boat). The waiter was friendly and helpful and the views of course were exceptional. My Mum loved it. And so did I. I definitely want to do this again.

This was a surprise 60th birthday present and we were very lucky with a beautiful sunny day. The cruise was very good indeed, the food was of a very high standard and the staff very helpful. The only downside was that it was like being sat in a greenhouse at one stage and there was no aircon on that we noticed. Apart from that it was a great experience and would certainly do it again.

Overall I had a good time. I was very disappointed to find that when we boarded there were tables and chairs setup - this in itself wasn't disappointing, the fact that there weren't enough for everyone was. Our only options were to stand for several hours, or go outside to sit in the near freezing temps. I complained and was told that it wasn't sold as a 'sit down' cruise. It seemed as though the ship was overloaded and had too many people on it and that it was greed that drove them to sell more tickets than what they had room for -- for comfort. That was my biggest complaint. The cruise in itself was good and we had a good time - the fireworks were amazing and we had a great view. I don't think I would do it again @ £199 per person just because of the comfort level.

We were pleased with the table location next to the little open area. The food was good but there was an imbalance between the meat and veg portions. Very few potatoes. It took longer than anticipated to get served the desert and coffee with chocolates were rushed at the end. We enjoyed the entertainment and dancing and the night views even when it rained towards the end. On the down side the dress code was not applied as there were guests in jeans and trainers and hoodies carrying shopping bags.

We enjoy the cruise - the food and music were both good. I felt the price was a little high and the service a bit slow at times. Some may feel the menu was a bit "avant garde" for some tastes but I enjoyed it. By the end of the night the "all you can drink" package was more than some guests could cope with but they had a good time... Overall I recommend this but its not cheap!

We were on Harmony. Food was good and staff very helpful. Very disappointed that the commentary was almost impossible to hear. We were seated by the side windows - the speakers seemed to be positioned in the centre of the boat so with all the general noise we heard hardly any of the commentary which was one of the main reasons for doing the cruise. My experience with the Thames Cruise was amazing, from the customer service to the food, everything was perfect which made the atmosphere both comfortable and enjoyable. It was a lovely evening with good food and service and a great trip down the river. However i did inform them that my wife was lactose intolerant and asked that the meu accommodate this, they confirmed this would be done. However on the evening this was not the case, our waiter did not know , the food had not been changed and so limited out choice. Given the cost of the meal i would have expected far better than this . It was our 30th wedding anniversary and they said they would out a sparkling candle in our dessert . this did not happen. for me the lack of attention to detail was disappointing. but it was still la lovely evening overall .

Amazing experience, we both really enjoyed. Their dress code isn't enforced though, we felt a bit let down with neighbouring table wearing casual jeans, t-shirts and hoards of shopping bags. But it didn't spoil our evening and would recommend to anyone.

A great way to get a totally different perspective of London. Commentary was informative. The down side was the menu. No choice on the set menu. I do not like seafood so the Salmon starter was not to my liking. Fortunately there was a "vegetarian" option which I did enjoy. Bad luck for the guy sitting beside us... he had to settle for a couple of bread rolls! Obviously the Salmon was not to his liking nor the alternative choice! Lucky I liked Chicken as it was the only option for main. Service was not up to standard either.

We got off to a rocky start: The drinks service was slow and of the three reds offered in the signature package, the one we chose was out of stock. It took a while for us to get that information. Then even more waiting...ho hum. The food was not bad, but it sounded better than it really was. My recommendation? Don't hesitate to reach for the salt. The portions were a bit small. Just putting a small portion on a plate doesn't make it fine dining. The mains were more like starters, and the starters were barely there. Ho hum The signature package offers 5 courses-sort of. An amuse bouche which was okay, and a very small chocolate fondue at the end. Plus, an after dinner drink. A very very small one. Not even a full shot. Our waiter was nice, polite, and friendly and when we raised our eyebrows at the sip of Baileys, he did sneak us a second. Good on him! If you choose this package, drink more and drink fast to get your money's worth. Otherwise, it is way over-priced. Good views, but, hey, the cruise company didn't make those, right? The jazz music was the best part of the whole experience. Loved it!

This company has created a river boat that has brought river Thames to the highest hights. The wife and I were impressed in excessius. We were received with great courtesy and respect. The attentiveness and professionalism greatly impressed us : and I also observed the assistance rendered to other people : especially the handicapped.
