We just back and we love London Pass.
Even though it didn’t include the Oyster card, so you got to figure out your traffic. But it still worthy, we bought the 3 days pass, and we went to several place, although we didn’t have too much time in there. But went to many places we want to see, the tickets already over the pass price. Recommend to get this!
Remember to schedule all the spots you wanna go, then you’ll see more via this pass.
If you just wanna see around and not interested with this schedule type, don’t buy it, not suit for you.
We scheduled our plan by ourselves.
Below were all spots we went on these 3 days.
( I’ll include the ticket original price)
- Westminster Abbey £23
- Body world museum(10-19) £25
- Royal Albert Hall tour(9:30-4:30)£13.75
- St. Paul’s Cathedral (8:30-16:30) £20
- Tower Bridge go up(9:30-18) £9.8
- Tower of London (9:30-18) £27.5
- Night view The Shard(-22:00) £32

Bought the 5 day London Pass for myself and 2 daughters along with the Oyster travel card. What a fantastic purchase !! We visted 16 London attractions - I planned our entire itinerary around this, and visited venues which we wouldn't even have known about.Fantastic for sight seeing and making fabulous savings. It cost me £252 but without it, it
would have cost £590 !! Having the London Pass was like holding a golden ticket, as it allowed fast pass entrance to venue entrances by just showing it. My tip - contact the venue prior to going, suggest an entrance time and present the return email with the pass - it worked brilliantly for us and helped in organizing our trip. Fantastic on-line chat too for any queries relating to the pass. Brilliant purchase and highly recommended... happy sight-seeing everyone 😃 a definate must have for any sight seeing visitors to London.

So I bought the 3 day London Pass for £90.90 (There was some discount offer when I bought it) . Luckily the weather was good and I was out discovering places all 3 days. Below are the attractions I was able to visit on each day along with the price of each attraction. The London Pass App is extremely helpful and gives information about travel as well. Make sure you read them and make your journey hassle free. Most places have free guided tours every 30mins or so. Make sure you time yourself accordingly.
Day 1 - make sure you get there at the opening time so you can utilise the full day. On day 1 I decided to walk to all the places starting from The Tower of London since all the other places were close by. On the next 2 days I took the underground and bus services.
1. Tower of London : £24.80
2. Tower Bridge : £9.80
3. Globe theater : £16
4. St. Paul's Cathedral : £18
5. River Boat cruise : 18.50
Total : £87.10
Day 2
1. Windsor Castle : £20+11.30 (transport- with the London Pass the return train ride from Paddington to Windsor is free)
2. Wembley Stadium : £20
Total: £51.30
Day 3
1. Wimbledon Tour : £24 + £13
2. Churchill War Rooms : £17.25
3. Beefeater Distillery : £12
Total: £66.25
Regular cost: £204.65
Saved : £113.75

No problems , done plenty of activities . First time having this pass but certain things were were not open on days of visit . The second purchase was a different story treated like a second class citizen, this was new years eve onwards time . London pass customers are unable to reserve many attractions and you find yourself turning up to attraction being told there no availability unfair because your unable to reserve with many attractions. The shard and the Shakespeare globe being one of many. Only attraction you are guaranteed when open access is those of historic nature I.e k Palace , tower of london etc
Travel wise the clipper and hop on and off bus . Once your historic lists ticked off the pass is pointless .
M. V.
It is somewhat worth it if you start early. Some attractions close early and check to make sure some attractions aren't closed due to private events. We went and the shard was closed and they were so rude to push us away! Use the tube or bus for 7.5 pounds and rest of day is free!

The London Pass is an amazing deal, if you plan well. First you need to spend some time for to finalize your places of interest. Secondly, calculate the time and distance you may spend in each attractions. Then you will come to know how many days pass you need. Don't buy blindly without a plan. (Attached a photo of the view from the shard which is one of the free entry attractions by London Pass).

If you are able to march as a soldier defenitely i would reccomend the London pass. With the London pass you can enter for free to several attractions in London. Please note that public museums entrace are for free, with tge exception of special exihibitions inside them. Be adviced that London Pass is validon a daily bases, I.e. from the moment you enter the first attraction start the first day. Note that most attractions are opened from 10.00 to 18.30. So if you enter at 16.00 for instance in Westminster you will have only two hours left to visit other attractions. I do suggest to start using the london pass from the second day at 8.30 for instance visiting st. Paul cathedral. Please note that London pass comes also with a maximun values of 'purchased' tickets (for instance for a 3 day pass is £ 175 for child, and £ 350 for adults). If the total amount of purchased ticket is higher than the pass values the pass automatically will expire. The other option (pass with oyster card) is quite convenient. Very likely you will still have money on the oyster after the expiration of your pass. Moreover you will be able to use the oyster (that us a card of the london transport authority) for several years by reaching it at the automatic machine (mostlycontactles) at metro station. Summurizing if you are more on like a tiger than a Panda I would strongly reccomend buying the London pass, in that case it's worth every single pence. If you prefert to meditate on think either you buy a single/family ticket or just visit the museum that are for free. Please be advised that London eye is not included in the London pass. If you know that you can visit up to 7 attractions (included the London eye) you can consider the london explorer pass.

Best way to save money and time on touristy things in London we use these passes in various cities throughout the world, they are very handy and economical.

We bought a 10 day London pass with Oyster card for our 8 day trip. We were very happy with our purchase. We had no issues with it being honored anywhere that it was suppose to be honored. It did have us see some things we might not have seen has we not had the pass. Some were better than others but no complaints on London Pass other than I do wish they had more day increments.
My tips for people looking at using it would be to really look at what your wanting to do before you decide if you want to purchase or not. Also really pay attention to the details some of the negative comments are due to not reading the details. The bus tour is only for one day same with the boat tour. Also the pass is good for a calendar day so if you use it for something at night you used whole day. It’s not good for 24 hours, it clearly states that. Also certain places are closed on certain days so check that before you buy as well.

The London pass has lots of mixed reviews online. The benefit of being able to skip some lines cant be overstated. but, if you purchase anything less than a 6 day pass you can easily find yourself stressing about which locations and how long to stay for in order to make the pass worth the money. If you already have an idea of where you want to visit and for how long then you can better prepare. I found that with the 3 day pass i was able to get my monies worth but that came with a lot of rushing around.

I was in London in early July of 2018 and I have to say that as a first time visitor, I couldn't have been happier with my decision to purchase the London Pass! Since we were in the city for 4.5 days, we were able to maximize the use of our 3-Day pass. We gained access to almost every single attraction and museum we wanted to visit and the hop-on-hop-off bus and boat options were perfect for getting around the city with ease! I highly recommend the London Pass - especially for more trips more than 2 days.

This is my second time using the 2 day london pass. It is worth every penny. It gives access to most interesting historic attractions. There is a lot to do so it’s two days of early mornings and late nights to get everything done and to get your money’s worth. The hop on and hop off bus is great to get around to all the attractions and saves your feet. Unfortunately for us we didn’t realize it was only good for one day so we only got two hours for using the bus which is not a lot of time at all. I was really disappointed that the driver didn’t explain that to us so we could have saved it for our second full day. He only asked us if we are sure we want to get on but didn’t explain further and we didn’t know what he meant by that. Overall the pass is worth it to visit London. Save the hop on hop off for one full day and use it to get around to all the attractions.

A London Pass may be cheaper, or may not be cheaper.
For this reason, I'm giving London Pass three stars.
It all depends on the attractions you want to visit, the duration of your visit and the number of attractions you would want to visit in a day.
If your stay in London would last for 2+ days, then you probably should consider getting a pass. If not, compare how much money you will spend with and without the pass.
Most importantly, give yourself enough time to enjoy your visit at the places you choose to visit; don't rush to merely cover three/four attractions in a day. For example, from my experience, a decent visit/full-experience at a historical palace; Tower of London, Hampton Court palace, Windsor Castle would last for nothing less than four hours.
Also, note that there are many free places where you would not need the pass (For example, the British museum). Moreover, many places offer a concession ticket to students and elderly people (60+).
Some people believe that the pass will help them to skip the queue and save time. No, at most places you will have to queue-up for security checks and gate entry. The website clearly lists the places where you will skip the "ticket buying" queue. In short, don't assume that you will save any time queuing-up.
With regard to the staff and service provided by London pass, I've never had any problem at all.

We got a 3-day London pass for our trip. I think the pass works well as it covers the entrance tickets to many popular attractions. It also gives you a free one-day hop-on and hop-off tour bus around London city and a free day cruise along the Thames river. The only downside I could think of is that you kind of have to plan well before the trip and push yourself a little bit to see as many things as possible to make the London pass worth the money as you have to pay more than $120 for one adult pass. Also, having the London pass does not always help you skip the line. You have to still line up to get the actual entrance tickets. Sometimes, with the London pass, you can skip the normal line that is for a walk-in ticket. There is no clear sign to let you know if you can skip the line. You may just have to ask the staff there. From what I observe, you can book the ticket in advance and print out the ticket yourself and you don't have to wait in line for the ticket. But with the London pass, you still sometimes have to wait to get your actual entrance ticket.

Bought 8 three day London Pass when my family visited in July. Very good value!! My kids and their cousins have truly used the pass, visiting all the attractions that the pass has offered. They loved it and also the same with my parents who managed to get into all London Historical sights. A bit advice to get the most of the pass is to plan well ahead where to go on a daily basis. Thank you for this brilliant marketing strategy. It saved us money, made it more enjoyable and memorable visiting London. Have already told all my friends. One last thing, we managed to get discounts with West End Theatres via the London pass concierge. What more can you ask for😊👍🏼👌.

Great investment /Awesome
London Pass is awesome. Reasonably priced. Fantastic amount of attractions that can be visited/seen. We used the Mobile app to order the passes but you still need to visit the Redemption Center, a small independent building that was hard to locate, in order to activate the passes. They recently added directions from the Leicester Square tube station that make it a little easier to locate. Wish there was a way of activating the pass online when desired or have more than one Redemption Center.
My husband and I were in town visiting family in the suburbs. After looking at what is included, they were even interested in purchasing a 1-day pass for themselves.
We were in London for 3 days and purchased the 2-Day pass. It was used to visit the Tower of London, Windsor Castle, Shakespeare's Globe Theatre, and Westminster Abbey. We also used it for transportation. The only downside is that their Bus only runs until 5PM. Then you need to use the tube or other transportation. Transportation up to a certain amount is included with the Pass.
Definitely worth the investment. Great way to see lots in a short period of time.

Worth the money and convenience!
We visited London after Paris. We also had a Paris pass, and were comparing our experiences. The London Pass is definitely worth the convenience and money. We did not plan things out well—the day we had hoped to take a tour of Westminster Abbey, the Abbey was closed for a private event (a wedding?). If we had been able to take the tour, we are confident our pass would have more than paid for itself. As it stands, we came out ahead 5£ each, and that is not including what we will get back after we are reimbursed for our unused Oyster card balances. It was a bit of a challenge finding the location to pick up the passes, other than that, they were great. Although we did not get to see everything we’d hoped—there’s only so much you can pack into a day—everything we wanted to see/do was included in the London Pass. We already have a list of destinations for our next visit, whenever that may be. For what it is worth—Big Bus hop-on-hop off: worth it! City Cruises: worth it! Tower of London: worth it! Tower Bridge: worth it! Tour of the Globe: worth it! View from the Shard: worth it!

The pass is not cheap or inexpensive but if you are serious about sightseeing in and around London, it's the way to go. Loads of expedited entries, walking straight past the people waiting in line and into the place, affords you the time to see more than others. We had the 6 day ticket and made it worth our while. I doubt we could have done better or as well with a 3 day ticket. It's quite pricey for a family, but yes, it's definitely worth the money.

This was not the first time we purchased a city Pass. We purchased the London six day pass and the Oyster card. The guide book was very helpful in planning our daily attractions. The fast tracking option is pretty much non existent, line up with everyone else. They should be more upfront about this. The Paris pass is were the fast tracking worked great. Note, not every attraction is covered, (London eye, The Shard) check the guide book, then check on line about obtaining tickets so you don't have to queue twice. I did the math and we saved over 80 pounds total on attraction and we had about 20 pounds left of the Oyster card.
S. L.
London Pass is definitely worth it if you make good use of it and want to see a lot. I got a six day pass and saw all the things I had planned to see (at a cost saving) plus more that I hadn’t, because they were covered by the Pass. Also super convenient to be able to access it through the app. Keep in mind that it doesn’t mean you necessarily get to skip any lines so you still need to be organised about when you go to see certain attractions. You need to be there at, if not before, opening time for the major attractions if you want to avoid a long wait.
S. L.
The London Pass was a great investment. We spent five days in London and were able to do and see so much more than we would have if we'd just been budgeting for indivdual sights. The six day pass paid for itself within the first two days. The pass helped me feel like I got the full London tourist experience, and I would definitely recommend it for any other sightseers.

This is a very detailed and well explained review, it would help you have a full picture:
Dates: 30 Dec 2019 - Jan 1 2020.
I bought the three day pass (without Oyster) from 365 ticket website for 96 pounds! This website also offers combination tickets for many attractions around London for discounted prices too. Do your research see what attractions you want to see and the prices on different websites.
Attractions visited:
Day One Dec30:
- Tower of London at 11:30 pm. The line was not that bad, waited for 15 mins to enter. The london pass allows you to line up from the entrance, you dont have to go line on the ticket booth. The visit was 2.5 hours and i was RUSHING it. The tower/castle is huge and has so many things to do and see. I highly recommend to go on the free guided tours that are made by Yoeman Warders. Dont even think of lining for the Jewels Gallery, its over 2 hours wait. i didnt do it and i dont think it wouldve been worth it
- Tower Bridge: you have to line up to enter the revolving doors (around 20 min). London pass holders done have to line up again to buy the tickets, they can just enter. The tower is nice but wont take you more than an hour tops.
- London Bridge Experience: There was no line up at 4pm. The whole thing took 45 mins. Very good actors and good decorations. I liked it and would recommend doing it. It is similar to the dungeon i went to in Amsterdam.
Day Two:
- Hop on Hop Off: I read reviews sayin the best options provided is BigBus. They were frequent, clean and on time. The weather sucked that day, so didnt really hop off alot. was touring the city from the inside. The live guided tours were alright, nothing too fancy.
- St Paul's Cathedral: There was a huge line to just check your bags and enter. London pass holders can skip that. Once you enter there was another line to purchase tickets, London pass holders can skip that too. The cathedral is HUGE and FASCINATING. It will take you at least 1.5 hours to see it and admire it. You can climb all the way to the top (528 stair steps) and the view is really nice and worth the workout.
Day 3:
- City Cruises: You have to line up at the booth to purchase your ticket. The line was about 30 mins. The cruise takes you from Westminster all the way to Greenwich (1.5 hours).
- Painted Hall in Greenwich: very nice hall with so much details in the art and colours. i really enjoyed it. There was no lines at all for this
- Greenwich observatory: There was a line up for 15 mins. Very nice museum. If you really are interested in the history of time it would take you at least 1.5 hours. there are audio tours that are VERY detailed.
NOTES:
-I summed up the total of my attractions if i bought them from 365 tickets as a student ticket, it was 115 pound. I paid 96 pound for the london pass. I think the pass was worth it, if you are an adult and no discounts or offers are available.
- I attempted to go to the Shard several times. The line ups were HUGE, with or without the pass. I dont think i will waste 3 hours+ of my day on one attraction that wont take you more than an hour to see.
- Dont buy the travel option if you are staying between Zone 1 and 2. The maximum charge is 6.5 pounds a day then its free the rest of the day. The oyster card is 5 pound which is refundable at the end. It would be cheaper if you reached the max daily charge for three days than to buy the travel option.
- I had a problem with synchronizing my pass on the app, it was not working. I emailed and called the London Pass through there app and other methods. No one answered and no response at all. I was VERY VERY disappointed in that. What if i had an actual issue with my pass, i would have no one to contact. They REALLY REALLY should fix that.

We had a 3 day pass with public transport included. It was an awesome 3 days :) As a first time London visitor it was perfect for me but I'm sure "regulars" can find a lot of exciting options with the pass too. :) It covers almost all of the must-see places and a lot of smaller ones which we didn't thought about originally. It's also really relaxing not having to worry about how you could get from A to B. You can just jump on the buses and subways and use the Oyster card that comes with this type of pass.
Best choice for a city visit, I can only recommend it!
A. C.
This was a great investment for exploring the beautiful city of London. In some case we skipped the line, we were able to consistently avoid ticket lines, the London Pass system is very well organized, representatives are all helpful and everything that you would like to see is included. It was a terrific savings and I wouldn’t hesitate recommending it for a visit to London. Loved it!
P. G.
By purchasing this pass in advance, not only did we get a discounted rate, I also had a list of the attractions that were included in the pass, those that were free through out the city and those that were at a discount. I was able to choose the attractions that interested me and plan out each of our 3 days using that info. There are so many things listed that I didn't even know about like the oldest church in London, the house where Handle and Hendrix lived and Charles Dickens house so we visited a huge variety of points of interest. The value is great if you bundle all the attractions in one area on one day. (One thing that I wish the accompanying book would do is to list the attractions by area instead of type of attraction, that would have saved me a ton of advance research.) I wish there were more hours the attractions were open so that we could have made it to more but we loved our time in London in part thanks to the London Pass.
A. S.
I purchased the 6 Day London Pass and it was absolutely amazing. Not only did we save money on attractions (over 250£,) but the app helped us organize our itinerary, highlighted the must do attractions, as well as, suggested attractions that would have otherwise been overlooked. I can't recommend the London Pass more, especially if your staying for 3 or more days. Additionally, the phone app was very user friendly and operated offline.
M. K. B.
Loved having a London Pass on a recent vacation! You get admission to many, many of the most popular sites and enjoy shorter lines. The guidebook and mobile app are invaluable tools for detailed info and maps of London, landmarks, stations and routes for the Tube, etc.... We used these every single day. It's very easy to get around London with some advanced knowledge, so we had it mailed to us several weeks before. Highly recommend the London Pass with the pre-loaded Oyster transportation card! As soon as you get off the plane, you have all you need to really get the most of your time there! Wish we had more time there as you can't possibly see all the sites in 6 days!
R. L.
Highly recommended for those who wish to explore as much of London as possible within a short period of time.
Bought a 10-Day Adult Pass, and was able to make up the cost by Day 3. (i.e. every attraction from Day 4 was effectively free!)
Caution - You need to do basic research on where you want to go before using this Pass. For one, the Pass allows only one entrance per attraction. Also, most attractions in London are only open from 10am to 5pm (summer), so you only have 7 hours to play with each day.
Make use of the app to plan your itinerary and keep track of how much you're saving.
E. L.
For us it was worth it. We bought the 3 day pass along with the Oyster card in advance. It was mailed to our home prior to leaving.
We saved lots of money as we researched in advance and planned our visits according to our locations - e.g. Wimbledon Tour in the morning and the Hop on Hop off bus in the afternoon.
It was also nice to not have to worry about having cash for entrance at each site.
I would say if you are able to have the card sent to you in advance, plan in advance, know that it is consecutive days and hop on hop off bus is only one day it maybe worth it for you.
B. F.
The best option for us as we stayed 3 full days and visited 3-4 attractions a day. Easy to order online and convenient as a mobile pass on the phone. The online app is also well made with useful details (e.g. other attractions around while being located).
We didn't take the transport option and bought an oyster card directly in London- which was very easy to get, to use and to get refunded when we left (you get the refund of the card deposit + any left credit directly from the automatic machine)
C. W.
I ordered 4 London Passes online and picked them up when we arrived. After downloading the app and checking out the booklet, we visited every attraction in London we could that the Pass covered. We never had a problem using the Pass and never we're asked for additional money. I have already recommended it to friends and family.
K. S.
The London Pass was a great way to save money and time. With the underground and bus tickets included we were able to save a lot of money and time, due to jumping on transportation and getting to sites quicker. It also saved us time by being able to avoid long lines because we had the pass another's did not. We also went to some sites/attractions that were in our book because they were included and did not cost more money. We would not have gone to them if it had not been for that. It was a great investment for my family.
A. M.
We bought the 2 day pass with Oyster card. It was the best deal we could ask for! It was 5 of us and it paid for itself within the first day of use. I would definitely recommend to anyone visiting London...it also gives you tons of discount at different stores and trips with some of the travel companies.
R. R.
If you plan on spending time in the greater London area and want to see the sights, the London Pass is a great way to experience it. They cover many of the paid attractions for tourists and you can skip many , but not all the cues. We added the travel pass and it made travel all over London a breeze. We saved a lot of money after comparing what we would have paid by standing in line and getting tickets in addition to seeing some great sights we may not have otherwise visited. A definite must for many travelers. Will use it again the next time we go.
M. D.
What can I say..we had a fantastic week in London using the London Pass. I am a Londoner by birth but have never seen the city like this. From walking over Tower Bridge to sailing down the Thames to Greenwich it is was great. Going to Windsor for the first time and even the train journey was included. We included an oyster card making our daily jaunts hassle free. We had such an amazing week thanks to the London Pass
B. C.
Great value and well worth the purchase!
I purchased the 3-Day London Pass with Oyster cards on sale from their website. Pick up was convenient in London and the service was friendly/efficient. We were able to attend the following in July which was more than double the cost of the pass:
Tower of London
Tower Bridge
The Shard
St Paul's Cathedral
Thames River cruise
Churchill War Rooms
Westminster Abbey
Hop on Hop off
Kensington Palace
Communication on the website and from the staff is very clear that it is consecutive days from the first admission. We were given priority entry at Tower Bridge and St. Paul's but had to wait in line at Westminster Abbey and Churchill War Rooms.
In order to make the most of the pass:
1) Buy multiple days
2) Attend attractions grouped closely together each day
3) Start early when the first attraction opens
3) Buy it on sale at London Pass or Costco
4) Use an Oyster Card for transportation rather than Hop On Hop Off
5) Wear comfortable walking shoes
The London Pass made my visit very memorable!
T. &. B. R.
I loved the London Pass! We only had 3 days in London and it was perfect for all the things we wanted to see. We never even needed public transportation since we bought an extra day on the Hop On Hop Off Bus. We tried to visit all the attractions we wanted in the limited time we had in London, and it was well worth it.
S. P.
This is a great pass for someone travelling to London, although i haven't been able to compare whether my trip would have costed less or more had i gone without the pass. Obviously the pass has got a lot more benefits than what it is cost. Definitely go for the card if you are staying in London for more than 2 days (But even then do buy an Oyster Card) so that, at least you are able to cover more than 50% of what the card offers. This card made my trip hassle free, 100% recommendation!
D. C.
The London Pass is one of the best things that are person can buy. I had never been in any of the sights or attractions in London, so I brought myself one last year as a treat. I saw so much, and made amazing savings. I had such a good time that I brought a second this year. It was just as good, and even better value for money now that the 10 version is available. DO NOT buy it in person, the price is alarming. Online is the only way to go.
A.
It was our first time visiting London. Without the London Pass , we were not able to visit places by bus, boat and hop on and off bus. The only recommendation is to simplify the usage of hop on bus. We waited an hour to get on the bus and realized we need to get the another pass from other bus stop. For that run around , we waisted nearly 2 hours to get on the hop on bus. Overall I still think London pass is worth of the cost. Recommend!
M. B.
I wish the app had a little more cohesive guide about when to do what (start your day at this time to do X, Y, Z), but it made my first time in London a lot easier--buying one inclusive package and being able to do a lot of things at a cheaper bundle price.
While the amount of money I saved wasn't crazy--maybe $40, it was worth doing.
M. B.
One of the most amazing thing about touring London is the wide range of facilities available for tourists and citizens alike. And one of such things is The London Pass which can be availed for 1, 3 or 7 days. Gives a great overview of the attractions that London has to offer and covers almost 80-90% of the major tourist attractions. I would recommend buying it along the London Oyester Card.
S. H.
I Purchased my London pass online a few weeks before I landed in London. It was super easy to find the location to pick up my pass, and the whole experience was expedient and friendly. With my London pass I was able to visit so many attractions. The London pass is a must have For the tourists who wants to see a lot but not spend a lot
S. L.
The London Pass was a great way to get to see the city. It also meant that I wasn't upset if the kids whizzed around a museum in the length of time it took me to look through the first room, and wanted to move on. And I got to go to things that I might not ordinarily have gone to if I hadn't already got a pass to get in. All in all a super deal, I highly recommend it.

We purchased the pass via the internet well in advance of our trip to London and grouped attractions by location so we didn't waste time traveling about between locations. We got the 10 day pass and, with two days to go, have already beaten the "2 for 1" deals that are available via the National Rail.
The pass is so easy to use and, with adding the Oyster card to our purchase, we could jump right in to seeing London.
A couple of suggestions.
1) For the larger museums it would be nice to add a second admission.
2) It would be lovely if the locations that had other offers would post them so those of us with short memories didn't forget.
3) The fast track didn't really seem to skip lines. We always had to stand in the same queue as everyone else.
Overall it was a great value and very convenient to use. We would purchase it again, should we ever return to London.
Update: We paid £246.55 for (2) 10 day London Passes + added the £50 Oyster travel cards for a total of £346.55
We saw attractions totaling £571.30 in the 10 days the pass was active.
I'd say we definitely got our money's worth.
Again, it is really important to get the pass early via internet and carefully plan groups of attractions that are within walking distance of each other so you get the most bang for your buck (or pound, in this case).
S. N.
Well worth the money. With the London Pass an Oyster Card is also given. The Oyster Card is for the tube, busses and trains. The London Pass will get you into so many attractions. On some of them you can actually skip the lines. Most of the museums are free without the London Pass. I suggest taking a bus tour to get your bearings the first day. The London Pass does cover this. We had the 6 day pass and made full use of it. Be sure to read your book that comes with your pass to see all the opportunities.
J. K.
Had the 6-day pass and it was definitely worth it. I was prepared and knew London a bit. Still occasionally had to run in order to get all done. However the possibility to see so many attractions and to find some hidden gems was a great experience indeed. Bought already the pass for my next trip. Planning is part of the fun!
M. S.
I had a great experience with London Pass. I bought a three-days card and it was awesome. I used the application, and had no problem to enter to the attractions I visited. The best was the London Tower. The Zoo was amazing too. At last, I recovered the cost by visiting six attractions, and after that, I could consider the other attractions were like free. I totally recommend it.
L. B.
The London Pass paid for itself the first day of use. We experienced many sites we would not have if we paid individually. The book was very useful, giving directions, times of entry, and additional information. Have already recommended it to family traveling to London next summer.
B. S.
Well worth the money that is for sure. Got to skip the line at some attractions got discounts on day tours and an oyster card to travel by bus train and tube making getting every where easier faster and cheap. Highly recommend this if you plan on being in London for at least three days
D. B.
Went to London with my brother, daughter, and son-in-law. We considered ourselves on an expedition to see as much as possible. London Pass with the Oyster Pass option was fantastic. All the venues had clearly marked entry lanes for London Pass holders. We went to some places that were not participants in the London Pass program...they gave us gifts because we had the London Pass! It is especially good for those who plan to see most of the historic and tourist venues!
k. a.
If this is your first trip to London or if you’re wanting to hit all the big spots, than the London Pass is exactly what you need. It gives you free or deeply discounted entrance into most of the big attractions. I also highly recommend an Oyster card. You will be a Tube expert within a day, it’s the easiest and cheapest way to get around d the city.
V. A.
The London Pass made traveling around London so much smoother than attempting to coordinate everything ourselves! It includes entrance and discounts to so many places that we could feasibly see everything we wanted to see and more! I would totally recommend this pass especially if you want to see the famous attractions. :)
J. F.
You really have to check whether it'll be advantageous or not depending on what you are planning to do before booking it.
Keep in mind that a lot of museums (Science Museum, British museum) and places are free and that if you do less than 3 attractions (that you'd have to pay for without the pass) per day it's probably better to book it online in advance (otherwise you'll have to queue: the London pass does give you access to a lot of fast track lines which is great)
If you're not worried about losing a little bit of money and want to have flexibility and freedom during your trip without having to plan everything ahead this is probably a good option though (you can go anywhere, whenever you want and still often have access to fast track lines)
M. T.
The pass was exceptional! It allowed us to see all the things that we wanted, and then some!! Having the Oyster Card as part of the pass was great so we could get to where we wanted to go quickly and without having to buy a subway ticket each day, The London Pass was a great investment!
M. B.
The pass was really great during the day. There were so many cool options to visit and having a queue jumping pass was really helpful. If planned out properly you are really saving a lot. I wish there were more options for after 5pm. A lot of the attractions are only open from 10am - 5pm and that made it hard to get to more than 3 or 4. It would have been nice to have some evening options.
A. V. W.
Super money and time saver. Dont buy through hotels dot com or expedia though. We did and had to get a refund because the london pass didnt accept it.
So you pay 75 £ for a day which is what we did that gives you one calebdar day and a naximum of 195£ to spend in this day. If you manage to spend so much ill be impressed. We planned our day very well in advance and you need to do the same. I can see alot of people have written that it didnt sve the time and money but for us it truly did.
Theres still alot of queueing especially in high season but you at least dont have to also stand in line for buying ebtrance tickets to all the places.
We managed (in August the 10th) to visit Westminster Abbey, we arrived 30 mins before it opened so we only needed to wait in line for 15 mins. We didnt listen to the entire audio guide but chose to spend 1 hour here.
Then we took the thames cruise to tower of london, where we also spent around an hour, we skipped the royal jewels due to insane lines. If you do a tour here it will also be around an hour i think.
Then we walked over tower bridge to the london bridge experience. Here we had fast trck entry but there werent that many peoole. We didnt dobthe full experience, we skipped the horror part and instead rushed by underground to Paddibgton station.
From Paddington station we had free train transport to Slough and from there to Windsor. From the trainstation its a 10 mins walked and we arrived to the castle just before 16.00 where they close the entrance, here we spent the rest of the day.
Very effective day and we saved maybe 75£ in total pr person.
You ofcourse have to calculate what you wanna see and how much it costs to visit it. Because if youre only gonna visit one or two sites pr day tgen you might aswell pay at the attraction
T. R.
Great value and useful tips. To take advantage of the pass, be sure to go to the most popular attractions early, e.g. Churchill War Museum be line 30 minutes (or more) before it opens and Tower of London before 11 a.m. Use the Oyster Card for the Tube to quickly move between attractions and plan for an active day - don't sleep-in or dawdle during the day. There is a lot of great stuff to see/experience.
V. C.
A very good travel card and an excellent mobile app that guided us to London to all major tourist attractions. We have opted for a London Pass for 10 days with transportation, being very economical, managing to see about 40 landmarks. They're left to see, when we get back to London we'll call back to London Pass.
L. D.
(THIS REVIEW IS FOR THE SIX DAY PASS*)
We did the 6 day pass with two parents and two kids and made our money back fourfold in savings. Every non-free attraction we wanted to do in the London area was entirely covered by this (we didnt care about doing the London eye).
We did the following:
Riverboat tour of thames to get to Greenwich
Greenwich royal observatory
Tower of London
Westminster
Churchill war rooms
Bus tour of London
London bridge experience
Natural history museum
London zoo
Hampton court palace
Transportation museum
Shakespeare's globe theatre
Hms Belfast
St Paul's cathedral
All included on the pass. The people claiming it's a scam are the actual scammers for what it's worth.
My only complaint is that the app claims to help you get discount theatre tickets and the ticket part of the app is horrific - don't bother. But this kind of problem is minimal for people wanting to spend a week in London and see all the sights. If you're one of those people, then don't think twice or hesitate - buy a London pass!
Be warned it activates when you first use it and the clock starts ticking. You can't use one day and then save day 2 for a few days later. Most of the people whining about the pass just assumed they could save it. You can't. If you go in knowing that then just enjoy your London trip and use the pass to save hundreds of pounds.
*the prices for the shorter passes are not quite as favorable so if you're doing two days only, you should check the costs on what you want to see against the actual price of the pass.
K. G.
If you're in London for 3 days, and doing activities from their list, it's a good value. BUT be warned that the people running this aren't VERY straightforward about the bus tours. The bus pass is only valid for one day, even if you purchase a multiple day London pass. The underground is a much more effective mode of transportation than the buses anyway, so maybe not a total loss that this package only includes a 1 day bus pass. It just impacts the value of the pass. Also worth noting - The fast track only worked at 1 of 8 attractions I visited. If I were planning my trip again, I probably wouldn't buy this, but I'm not upset that I did.
J. Y.
Superb value. Saves valuable time without having to wait in ticket lines. Can also save money if one maximizes sightseeing schedule for sites in similar locations. Inclusions of a one-day hop on/off bus pass, sites outside of the central city (such as Windsor Castle and Wimbledon), the top of the Shard (a Wow experience), and the option of a travel card make the Pass a complete sightseeing package. Best travel investment we have ever made!
J. S.
Love the London Pass. It seems that the locals and 'serious' travelers like to give LP a hard time, but if you really are trying to bundle a lot into a short period of time, it is an amazing way to do it. You absolutely can not beat the value of fast pass at places like Tower of London. It is also nice to have piece of mind that (as long as you plan out your spend) you don't have to worry about tickets here, tickets there. Highly recommended if you visit the London area for sightseeing and want to do a ton.
A. B.
The London Pass is excellent value if you want to see London - even if you only have a few days to check out London's plentiful, historic attractions. I would recommend this pass for comprehensiveness of attraction coverage; and the excellent holiday cost savings opportunity.
Z. H.
I bought this as a quick last minute option for my fiance and myself to do. And let me say it was totally worth it. You don't have to do every single thing on that list to save money. We purchased the 3 day pass, and saw most everything we cared to see in that time.
My advice would be to pick up the pass early so you can get a head start on everything, especially if you decided to walk everywhere like we did!
Next time I come to london, I'm doing it this again!
A. F.
The London Pass was perfect for what we needed! We were on a high octane trip, and we wanted to see as much as we could. We had the passes mailed to us, which was nice, because it gave us time to look through the guide book and maps to plan out what we wanted to see and do.
We ended up seeing the Tower of London, the Tower Bridge, The theater in the round, The River tour, Westminster, and the London Fire monument, all including some portions of the hop-on-hop-off bus. The fast track entry to both the Tower of London and the Tower Bridge saved us a good amount of time, and the free audio tour at Westminster is a must! It really helped make the experience.
We also used the coupons in the guidebook to get some free souvenirs for our kids including brass rubbings of George and the Dragon and Robert the Bruce as well as toy rugby balls, and some discounts on delicious chocolate from the East India Company.
We had a fantastic trip, and the London pass made it possible. Next time, I hope to have more time to enjoy the city, and the castles and Palaces round about, and I hope the pass is still around to help us on the trip.
R. T.
We bought passes online and just had to pick them up from the office, which was in a centralized location and very accessible. The book it came with was very informative and we got to see everything we wanted to see with the pass, I would recommend it if you just want to see all of London's tourist attractions without having to wait in line to buy tickets. Just wished I had time to do them all.
C. O.
Had lots of fun, got into lots of places without having to pay extra (just remember: London eye and London dungeon are not part of the entry-fees included).
Pick up at the airport or to be sent where you want it, the oyster card can be used like any other oyster card.
To get the most out of it, best plan your routes carefully ;)
A. E.
I bought the three day pass thinking that it would save me time and money on my trip to London around New Years. While it did save me a small amount of money, it did not save me any time. I still had to queue at almost every attraction (Except St. Paul's. You go straight to the front of the queue with the London Pass there.). You spend so much time queuing that you don't have time to see too many things. So you really only end up saving a few pounds from getting the pass.
It is really infuriating when everywhere you go despite having already paid for a pass to get you into a certain attraction, you have to wait in line with everyone else who hasn't bought a ticket. Maybe if you go at a different time you will have a better experience though.
J. G.
Flexible, full of options, worth it if you're goal is to be nothing but a tourist for a few days. It's accepted virtually everywhere and the sites are familiar with the London Pass. The app was wonderful. The only thing it needs to improve is in giving more details about how to gain entrance/get a ticket at venues (i.e., do you have to queue and exchange a ticket or do you go directly to the gate; it's different at different sites).
J. M.
This was the second time that I have used the London Pass and again it has been great value for money. I bought the 6 day pass on an offer and by careful planning I was able to maximize the benefits of the pass. I also have an Oyster card which is also essential in getting around London. Highlights of the week were the excellent tour of the Royal Albert Hall and the stadiums of Arsenal FC and Chelsea FC. If you are going to London sightseeing, the London Pass is worth getting.
S. L.
We used the London Pass in June for 4 of us for my granddaughters' graduation trip. It worked great. No hassle, just hand the card, skip the lines, get on the tube, on/off bus. Made our trip so easy and very good value.
D. K.
I've tried passes in other cities, and this one is well done. Everything is electronic including downloading your passes and viewing the list of attractions. I feel we got our money's worth out of a 3 day pass. The only downside is it doesn't allow you skip many lines. In some cases, you can't book specific times (e.g. Wembley Stadium) or skip some lines (e.g. Westminster Abbey). If you plan it right, you may be better off booking each attraction yourself online. However this pass is great for convenience of buying one pass and then hopping around as time permits.
C. B.
London Pass was amazing. I saw every attraction I wanted to see and more. There was barely any wait time at any attraction and I was able to pack the most into my 3 day trip. I would recommend London Pass to anyone!
C. K.
Excellent value. Bought the 6 day pass and as it was off season ( was visiting in November) was able to do most of the top 10 suggested visits. However perhaps in the busy seasons more opportunities to skip the lines may be helpful. Highly recommend the London Pass
L. D.
A fantastic way to see London especially if you are limited with time. Hop On Hop Off bus was fantastic - live commentary very interesting and we learnt and saw things we wouldn’t have done on our own.
We saved heaps with entries to various places.
The London Pass App was very handy.
Definitely recommend.
T. G.
I had an amazing time using my London Pass, bought it online on sale in advance, and it shipped quickly. I bought the 6 day, travel pass included version. I went to places I wouldn't have though of, starting day 1 with the hop on hop off tour was great because it gave me a good idea where everything I wanted to see was. I got my money worth in terms of attraction costs and discounts. My travel card did de-magnetize the second day, so i had to be let through at all the tube stations, but there was always a staff member there and willing to help out. I live in montreal, and have had this happen with our subway passes as well so I knew what happened. Overall it was great. Not sure what other people are complaining about.
M. D.
Having the London Pass enabled us to go to quite a few attractions that we wouldn't have gone to otherwise. There were a few places where we were able to enter sooner with the pass as well and we definitely made up our money. The only issues were at 2 different places we were treated worse as pass holders instead of paying at the location (though we blame this on the places more than the pass itself).
P. S.
We bought 2 adult 6-day passes plus the travel ("Oyster") card for a 10-day trip to London. The 6-day period for the LP does not start until the first time you use it, but then it has to run consecutively, so we did some things not covered by LP the 1st day (settling in), then did covered things over the next 6 days, then back to non-covered things. We did not do "enough" things to save a lot on the 6-day LP; indeed, we might not have even broken even in terms of dollars, but we didn't miss it by much, and the convenience and skipping-the-lines feature made up for the small difference, so it was worth it to us. And if we had only gotten 3-day passes, we would have ended up paying more overall, to see all the things we did see. We did have to add to the Oyster cards near the end of our stay, but they last forever, so whatever little is left on them can still be used if we go back. In summary, the London Pass is a good deal IF you take the time to plan -- work out an itinerary of what attractions you will visit during the days it is in effect.
C. W.
I ordered 4 London Passes online and picked them up when we arrived. After downloading the app and checking out the booklet, we visited every attraction in London we could that the Pass covered. We never had a problem using the Pass and never we're asked for additional money. I have already recommended it to friends and family.
M. D.
Fantastic ease of use and value for money. Couldn't have done all the things we did without the pass AND we could jump the queues in some places. We got well over 3x the value of the pass. Brilliant!!!!!
D. B.
Super worth getting the LondonPass to get into most of London's attractions without paying a cent + many other discounts and offers.
K. B.
Great, went to places we would not have selected and found them amazing. Plan out your days so you get maximum use. Group what you want to see in locations so you save time on the day. London hop on and off bus took so long, was quicker to walk but the commentary was so informative. London Bridge experience is for the young, that was the only thing we did that was not worth the time spent.
A. M.
This is the BEST way to do London. It covers a lot of major attractions. Having everything paid for in advance was really helpful and it was SO easy to use. Most attractions I visited just scan it and you're good to go.
C. F. S.
Great experience. We added on quite a few sites and tours included in the pass that we would not have otherwise. The only negative was the wait times in lines as everyone was using a London Pass. I would highly recommend it!
b. b.
My aesthetician recommended the London Pass because she had a good experience, told me it would allow for fast entry. I ordered ahead of time on-line before I left on my trip, good them in the mail quickly. Now, if only my niece had remembered to bring hers to the Tower of London instead of leaving it in the hotel room!!! On the whole, a great and wonderful buy.
I. R.
Had a 10-day pass. Certainly saved time when gaining entry at numerous attractions, not just those with fast-track. Certainly convenient as did not have to get out money from ATM or topup travel card. However, not certain that it saved us money overall. Feel that you would need to visit two places each day to make it clearly a better alternative financially. Would recommend still.
P. M.
London Pass was the prefect addition to our trip to London. We got to see all the sites we wanted to without waiting in line and had free access to the hop on hop off bus which was a life saver. I HIGHLY recommend this to anyone wanting to go to London.
e.
Great investment. I wore the pass around my neck with the supplied strap because I used it so much it. Since I bought it before traveling to London I didn't have to deal with money. With all the usage I am sure I saved money in the long run. And one thing I noticed is that everywhere I used it the people taking tickets were extra friendly and welcoming.
M. R.
The London Pass is a must if you want to see a lot of London! skip the lines and enter through the fast pass section, and the hop on hop off bus adds to the fun. Its value for the money! i would not hesitate to recommend this to anyone!
b. b.
My aesthetician recommended the London Pass because she had a good experience, told me it would allow for fast entry. I ordered ahead of time on-line before I left on my trip, good them in the mail quickly. Now, if only my niece had …
d.
I’ve only given the London Pass 4 stars because to get value from the pass you need to organised. We bought a 3 day pass and were too worn out to maximise its use on the third day but we easily saved a lot just on the first two days to make up for the last day. Great value but do plan ahead.
I. C.
I had a great experience with London Pass. I'd used London Pass card previously, but now with de app it's easier and simpler. I've used in mayor attractions in London and in most of them you can skip the line if you are a London Pass holder. Definitely I recommend it
J. P.
For a poor girl on a budget, The London Pass and Travel Pass were tops. I paid for a six day pass, but ended up only being able to stay four days in London. I still got my money's worth just by getting into the attractions. Once you factor in the travel and the fact that I was able to stay in a less expensive hotel in Croydon because the Travel Pass covered the train to London every day, I actually saved tons of money.
L. P.
I did quite a bit of research to make sure I’d get my money’s worth, but the London Pass is DEFINITELY worth it! We were able to do so much, and the app tells you when you’re near a Pass eligible attraction.
m. p.
The London Pass saved us SO much time and hassle and paid for itself easily with the sites we visited. Loved it! The only hiccup was at the Tower of London, where we stood in an extremely long line we didn’t need to be in for about 10 minutes before I asked someone in information where to go. (Note to self ALWAYS ask!)
D. L.
We purchased 3-day passes as part of 7 days in London. Examples: 45 minute line up to collect the London Pass, 1 hour line up at Westminster, 45 minute line up at the Churchill War Rooms, no-show hop-on-off bus (60 minutes waiting), then missed last bus at a transfer. All of this indicates a focus to 'cheaper', not necessarily 'better'. Each traveller will value their time differently. We suspect we save some money, but, we think there was a time cost of 3-5 hours. Mediocre rating.
A. B.
Do your homework. This pass can save you a ton of money if you plan it and make sure you visit lots of locations. I had 3 insanely full days and saved about $300 over the listed price. I also made sure to go see everything, which I certainly wouldn't have done if I had been paying entry at every place.
I mapped out my route each day to keep my walking time down and spend the most time possible inside the attractions.
L. C.
This was a great help on our British vacation. The access to many different sites was easy, and since the price was included, saved us a lot of money. It also gave us other venues to visit that we had not considered before looking through the book. I would definitely purchase this again if we go back to London. Great value!
A. G.
MY wife and I used London Pass for 5 of the days we were in London. After doing some research online before our trip. I found London pass covered 95% of the places we wanted to visit and it was extremely easy to use.
D. A.
London Pass is a cheap solution for tourists!
But in my experience i've found the London Pass staff really impolite and incompetent.
When i ask for help the didn't really help me!
So if you are searching a good support for your journey, London Pass is not a great solution...
Also the London Guide that they give is really bad and the attraction are not described very well.
They don't give you a city map and if you want One you have to pay 4 pounds...
For me this is not a good service.
The only advantage is the price.
D. H.
July 2015: If you do it right, the London Pass is a great idea. We added up the cost of what we wanted to see, and the London Pass was just under the price of the days in London. It was great to see additional things for free, but you have to be committed to rushing around London to get your money's worth.
a. v.
At first, I thought that I would get the London pass to make life easier, and I didn't think that I would save much money. So as a solo traveller, I got the 2 day pass. By the time I arrived in London, it was 12pm, so I got going straight to the attractions. I was suprised how many I was able to fit into the day!
Day 1:
Monument
The London Bridge Experience
Tower Bridge
The Tower of London
HMS Belfast
St Pauls Cathedral (Luckily it was open late this day)
I could have gone to the Curzon cinema to end day 1, however I opted not to, as I was pretty tired after the day!
Day 2:
During day 2, I took it slow, and didn't rush all the attractions in.
Emirates Stadium
Wembley Stadium
ZSL London Zoo
(Shard, was going there, but there were no spaces, however the staff was able to produce a ticket for a later date using the London Pass)
I never thought I would visit this many attractions with the London Pass, but I'm glad I did, and I saved a lot of money. I would defo recommend the London Pass, but be sure to plan it, and look for late openings, and things to do all day.

Be aware that these tickets does not cover some of the most wanted attractions like Chica Cola London Eye access, Sea life, London Dungeon, Madame Tussauds. Also the travel pass contains a 15 pounds credit for.. of course 15£. That's not a free transportation for the period you choose. Fortunately does have access to the most transportation system, but you will be charged based on your distance you travel at DLR/underground or per trip for the buses.
L. M.
We loved having the pass that let us 'skip the lines'. Many of the attractions are free anyway, so I thought it was a bit misleading to say that the Pass included admission to those.
My only complaint was that it had to be used on consecutive days. I would have liked to break up our in town touring with bus trips to the countryside.
All in all, I thought it was well worth the price.
p. v.
We loved using the London Pass. We had a lot of opportunity to do and see things in great convenience. Easy to acquire and activate! Definitely worth the money, as long as you PLAN your days. Line things up to get maximum benefit of the pass.GREAT experience!

It's an excellent and you can really make a bargain with this amazing pass. The only drawback is that you only have a way to get to the Windsor Castle with this pass. I couldn't go as the metro was down on that day, what a pity! The app is excellent too, however with Internet connection you can enjoy more with the London pass app!
S. J. W.
My partner and I visited London in July and were recommended the London Pass by a friend. It turned out to be a great call! We used it to visit Tower of London, Westminster Abbey and Kensington Palace - we worked out that we definitely saved money. The London Pass app was super helpful. Totally worth it :) !!!!
A. M.
This is the BEST way to do London. It covers a lot of major attractions. Having everything paid for in advance was really helpful and it was SO easy to use. Most attractions I visited just scan it and you're good to go.
S. K.
Well worth your money! We bought 2 passes and saved near a £100 than if we had bought tickets as we went. They sent a very helpful booklet that showed us all of the places the pass could be used at and it let us find a few more places that we would have missed without this! Also let us worry less about prices and having to pull out cards/money at every stop.
p.
Great way to explore, although I worked in London many years ago, we discovered so many things that had changed since emigrating and also places I had never known about. The Oyster card is really good and we loved using the Thames clipper too. This has actually encouraged us to visit London again
N. B. M.
Before making a trip to London we found the London Pass browsing the Internet. We decided to buy two passes from home and pick them up at the office. In addition, we bought two Underground Oyster travel cards. Everything was great and we visited many places thanks to London Pass. We really recommend!
K. M.
I think London pass is really one of the best investments if it is your first visit to London, especially with Oyster card. I used 6-days pass and saved more than 100 pounds during my stay in London.
R. M.
Loved the London Pass. Super easy to use. Worked on my phone with out a hiccup. The sights are amazing that are included and very worth checking out. We really enjoyed the hop on hop off bus as well. Seems like a no brainer to me and works especially well with some careful planning.
K. P.
It was a very nice thing to have because of convenience. It allowed us to skip most of the long lines and the oyster pass that we bought with it was essential. To get your money's worth out of the pass you have to be constantly using it (we used the 3 day pass), because the cost is quite expensive in comparison to individual activities. But is a very convenient things to have.
C. L.
Our four-day weekend was just worth using the Oyster card, combined with the famous London Pass. We could see all what we had considered visiting, except the Parliament, not because of the London Pass, but because of the Parliament's schedule which had closed its doors to the public that week !!! (it was in May 2016). It was a wonderful time spent there, thanks to this Pass. Next time, we'll do exactly the same !
L. F.
I've visited London 3 times in the past few years and used The London Pass every time. It saves time when you have so much to see and definitely pays for itself with a few entrances. It's very handy to have to guide and the app as well. I wouldn't go to London without it!!!
Z. B.
Great value! We had the passes shipped to us before we traveled and were able to use the TravelCard to get from the airport into the city. We hit a lot more places using this pass than we would have otherwise and definitely got our money back! I would recommend this to anyone traveling who wants to see a lot while saving money.

Plan and be strategic if you get the pass. We broke even with our 6 day pass. Didn't see half of what we had planned. We never had a fast pass entry, had to queue like everybody else. Long lines, getting from place to place, trying to not rush through sites, ever mindful of 5:00 closings, our tongues were wagging. Maybe pass is better at off season. Hop on/hop off bus confusing and long wait. Enjoyed what we did see.
A. d. M.
It worked fine for us, although some main attractions are not included, such as London Eye or St. Paul's Cathedral. We took advantage of the Oyster card and the Dining Guide. I really can't tell if in the end the pass is cheaper or not, but it's a good guide to select what to see.
N. C.
We got the 3-day pass. We were able to do more things because of it. We used the "Fast Pass" when we could and that saved time waiting in long lines. We enjoyed the hop on-hop-off bus and boat rides. It certainly paid for itself! Would do it again next trip!
K. B.
Great, went to places we would not have selected and found them amazing. Plan out your days so you get maximum use. Group what you want to see in locations so you save time on the day. London hop on and off bus took so long, was quicker …
C. F. S.
Great experience. We added on quite a few sites and tours included in the pass that we would not have otherwise. The only negative was the wait times in lines as everyone was using a London Pass. I would highly recommend it!
F. M.
I just got back from London and purchased the 3-day pass. I've read a lot of negative comments on how you need to wait hours in line, cannot see attractions, etc. I used my pass Sat-Mon and did not have to wait long at any attraction. I saw Tower of London, Tower Bridge, London Monument, St. Paul's Cathedral, Windsor Castle, London Zoo, Westminster Abbey, Royal Observatory, Cutty Sark, took a cruise on the Thames, and went up the Shard. I could have seen more but sightseeing is actually quite tiring. My advice is to head to the busy attractions first thing in the morning. Try and group attractions by area. I did Tower of London, Tower Bridge, London Monument, and St. Paul's (all within walking distance of each other) on the first day. For Windsor Castle, the round-trip journey on the GWR is free with the pass. Just make sure to go early as the lines at this attraction can be insane. I did the Shard on the last night and went 90 min before closing. There were no lines and the night-time views were spectacular.
M. B.
Definitely worth the cost if you plan to see all of the big sites in London. Plan carefully though so you don't spend money twice on some of the lesser known sites around the city.
I recommend doing the Big Bus tour and get the travelcard option so you can use the tube and buses.
The only reason I didnt give 5 stars is because the website instructions about picking up your passes are super confusing. They are located in the basement of a kiosk although google maps shows they are located as a storefront. The lady at the counter was not helpful or friendly. As a foreign visitor to the UK, I was worried that the rest of the people of London was going to been as mean and snooty as that lady. Fortunately the rest of the people we met were lovely. The staff here should understand they are unofficial ambassadors of London and they can leave a very positive or very negative first impression on visitors.
K. M.
Visited London for a week and used 6 day London Pass. Was easy to use. Friendly customer service. Strongly recommend using London Pass especially if your a family, large group. Longer the pass, more you save.
B. S.
London pass is an excellent way to sightsee in London. Saves you both time and money. I will definitely be purchasing London Passes every time I am lucky enough to visit this great city!
P. E.
London Pass was generally very good. Easy to use and having prepaid Oyster Card was very handy.
You need to get a new hop on hop off bus partner though. Golden Tours was very disappointing. Had our day plannes but took over 90 mins to get to first stop. Main red line had limited busses. Watched 5 big bus pass and 3 original buses.
We waited 30 mins and had to get an orange bus to first stop as no red route were coming. Due to lack of buses the bus was standing room only so saw limited sites. As too many people and unable to plug in head phones so had a guide with a strong russian accent recite from the recording. Amusing but didnt learn much.
L. D.
I bought this pass with the Oyster card option for my three days in London this past June, and it was such a relief to not have to worry about paying entry, figuring out fares, etc. I did my research ahead of time, and was able to maximize my time in London. I will definitely be looking into this pass for any other places I travel!
F. B.
Very easy and usefull especially with oyster. We were 7 days in London and buy 6 days London pass . We discover some places and atractions we didnt even think about and it easy to use with no waitzing on some places. I recomended it to anyone who think about visiting London . In the guide you get it with pass you may found ecsplanations about traveling opening times and some specialities about any atracton you may visit.
R. G. C. S.
It's a brilliant idea to buy a London Pass if you go to London. It saved you both money and time and if you're not acquainted with the British capital it helps you discover the best attractions.
A. L.
The London Pass is totally worth it! If you want to see all the main attractions and cut the lines, get the London Pass. If you have limited time and need to pack it all into a few days, this is the secret to doing it successfully.
L. F.
Great experience in England. Tower Bridge and before The Tower of London. London Pass,is the great option for meet much places.
A. L.
Must buy this, value for money. Highly recommend you to but this london pass with the traveller oyster card in package if you are not living london, it will save you lot of cost in traveling and visiting. But please ensure you purchase it online one month ahead before you travel, as the cost to post these cards will be cheaper. Or in case you forget and time too close to your trip, you could do my way. Just purchase the mobile london pass, once you paid on line and install the apps, the london pass on your mobile. And you purchase online and pay for 3 days postal your oyster card independently at london underground webpage, the postal cost will be cheaper than ordering both together the london pass. And you can sure the oyster card on hand to use at the day you arrive at Heathrow airport and take cheaper fair for the train.
e. b.
The London pass isn't really a location but you can get a pass to visit most of London's museums for free, have discounts on some activities / food / shopping etc, cut through some waiting lines, and an all day bus tour of London with a guide. You can choose how many days you want the pass to work...
N. O.
Pro- the book is excellent.
-Has great deals
Con- activation of pass is by the day not actual 24 hours or 48 hours, etc. Make sure to plan your day and start first thing in the morning with all the paid activities, save the museums that are already free entrance for last or when not using the pass.
M. G.
I purchased a three-day pass and it was well worth the money. By carrying the pass it alleviates the problem of having to buy a ticket at each exhibit and at most exhibits you may skip the queue at the entrance.
M. E.
The place you go to get your pass is actually downstairs. The pass was nice but the staff was unhelpful for the most part.
G. C.
My three days in London with London Pass was a fantastic idea for my first time in London. Although there are attractions not included in London Pass such as London Eye or ST. PAUL'S Cathedral, and really hard to visit so many attractions in so little time, London Pass was a great idea.
S. S.
There're many attractions like "British Museum" are free but London pass still include those in the list of London Pass Attractions, that made me missed some of the others like "St. Paul Church". It would be better if more honest.
M. Y.
I'd recommend it for a one-day pass for sure. Anything more than that is a waste, IMO. Giving 3 stars because I bought a 3 day pass which was on the lower side of what they offer but still unnecessary - used it a ton on day 1, and then only once on days 2 and 3 combined because almost everything we wanted to go to after day one was either not covered or free anyway.
J. T.
Make sure you print off your voucher. They won't accept it on mobile. Your best value is to use it to see many little things. If you just do one or two big things per day (which is especially likely in the off season when things close early) then the value is dubious. If you are only going to one or two things in a day then it may be cheaper to just pay for those things. On the other hand the pass lets you skip the long line to pay and may let you do small this on a whim since it's paid for anyway. If you can get it "free" with your hotel that makes the value a little better.
D. K.
Great value, with some great attractions. I would prioritize the Tower of London, Tower Bridge, the ferry, The Shard and the London Bridge experience. I would stay clear of Hop on Hop off unless you're uncomfortable walking.
a. k.
I tried with one day pass which posted 59pounds with 115pounds value i went with free of cost for Westminster Abbey, Tower of london, Hop on and Hop off bus and city Cruise, value for money because all monuments enterance are too costly we can save more than 40%. They provide a local guide which mentioned about all the tourist attractions.
L. S.
One of the best purchases we've ever made. It helped us plan our trip long in advance, provided so much relevant information in one resource, and saved us an amazing amount of money and time. We're so glad we found this and we can't wait to use it again on our next trip!
G. L.
The London Pass was very handy to have. It was a bit difficult trying to figure out how to get to the location to pick up our pass but we made it. It is a bit pricey but if you are willing to go all over, this is worth trying.
F. K.
If you are going to London for vacations guys dont go without a London pass..its very convenient and offers fast track entry on some of the attractions plus you save a lot if you use the London pass like in my case I visited attractions worth £250 in a £100 thorough the pass

Great way to get around London. We did the first "loop" without getting off and then went back to the areas of interest! Great suggestion from someone!! Wonderful....affordable, well worth the cost and totally efficient! I will use it again in cities that have similar passes.
O. G.
Plan your day hours cerfuly if you want to use all attractions.
Wake up early.
Make a list of attractions that are open early to late and location.
Make the bicycle tour on the first day.
Bus are slow but you have view.
Underground train are fast.
D. B.
Super worth getting the LondonPass to get into most of London's attractions without paying a cent + many other discounts and offers.
T. L.
The London pass gave us access to everything that we wanted to see and more! We only had two days in London, so we didn't take it vantage of everything, but everything was as advertised! It was worth far more then we paid.
E. L.
London pass is worth it for the possibility to skip the lines on some attractions. But it's really hard to make it worth the price if you think you'll be able to visit enough attractions, you'd need an helicopter or teleportation.
R. C.
My experience with London Pass was incredible! I used it for 7 atraccions! I also take advantage of the discounts in M&M store and souvenirs! I love london pass :)
R. V.
They give you access to a lot of places but not to the london eye and the aquarium.. in case you are planning for a 3-4 day stay in london it probably makes sense to have the pass otherwise it can be a waste of money..
A. K.
It was a wonderful experience with London Pass, we saved lots of time, if you wanted to avoid queues and feel free to visit most of the attractions of London.
D. A.
London Pass is a cheap solution for tourists!
But in my experience i've found the London Pass staff really impolite and incompetent. …
D. W.
London Pass saved me over $150 in a week. Worth the money and allowed me to see more of London than I might have otherwise.
V. W.
I expected more.
Even if there is plenty of information on their portal, is hard to find it correlated with your position while in London.
Hard to manage, also cause of poor internet in London & surroundings.
Price overall / sites to see for us was worth it.
(0 used it the first day, but the 2nd was ok).
Recommend: correlate it better with google maps.
R. G.
Awesome value. Go to the front of the line!
Will purchase again next time I visit and spend more time visiting the sights!
Thank you, we SO enjoyed our London Pass!
C. Z.
the pass saved us times and money. It's the best choice for tourists visiting London for the first time. highly recommend.
S. P.
Saves a ton of money. Get a pass for five days can cover almost all the attractions. Would recommend either the 3 day or the 5 day pass!!
D. C.
London Pass made it very easy and economical to enjoy many sights and museums in London. Would definitely do it again next time we visit.
G. M.
It's the smartest way to visit London, get the best possible of all interest things to do, using it invites you to seize your days and take advantage of one of the world's most beautiful cities. The best choice.
A. H.
Great value if you plan to hit a lot of attractions. We ended up seeing some we really enjoyed and may not have known about without the pass.
M. G.
Absolutely loved the pass. We got an extra £100 value each out of it by planning out the activities we wanted to do ahead of time. Highly recommended.
C. V.
Fanstastic way to explore London. Hop on hop off bus, cruise on Thames included, access to pretty much everything you should see while in London with fast track to most location. Great Idea
T. C.
All the biggest London attractions are included - Tower Bridge, London Bridge Hop-on, Hop-Off Bus Tour and more. The Fast Track Entry also saved a me time!
H. B.
A great card, we saw so many sites, including quite a few that we didn't schedule into our time in London, but we found time to go, which was not only great to do but meant the pass was even better value.
N. P.
Highly recommend the London Pass for those trying to save some money in London. Had many of the top attractions, sometimes with head of the line privileges!
M. D.
Fantastic ease of use and value for money. Couldn't have done all the things we did without the pass AND we could jump the queues in some places. We got well over 3x the value of the pass. Brilliant!!!!!
B. D.
We bought the six day pass and used it a ton. The list of attractions it covers is quite impressive. For us it worked out to be quite a bargain
M. M.
Great deal. We were able to see many sights each day without worrying about paying at each stop. Saved a lot of money using the pass. Worth purchasing.
H. d. G.
Buying the pass was the best decision we made, we saw sights we otherwise wouldn't have seen, and toghether with the Oyster London travel card we had a wonderful time
B. T.
Brilliant card used it for 3 days quick entry lots of attractions used it for open top bus tour and river cruise the book you get with it is very helpfull and easy to use
D. D.
Good value. We were in London over Christmas and would have loved a 4-day option since many of the attractions were closed on Christmas and Boxing Day.
S. L.
This is a fantastic idea if your a first time Londoner, its great with so many different areas to explore you'll have a ticket to get to that particular attraction in the area! I will be definitely get this again!
B. B.
Saves you money on many popular attractions plus tells you about, and thus may get you to go to, some lesser known attractions you may never had heard of. Well worth purchasing.
A. B.
It’s the best way to motivate yourself to visit as many sights as possible, without worrying about the high entry fees or the long queues. It really saves up money and time! It’s worth every penny!
A. C.
The London Pass worked great for our family. We saw and did things we might not have otherwise and really enjoyed our trip to London.
D. W.
London Pass saved me over $150 in a week. Worth the money and allowed me to see more of London than I might have otherwise.
J. S.
Great way to see London, especially if you only have a few days. Make the most of it, pack your days solid and it will be worth the money. Will try in other cities as well.
M. A.
Please check the other reviews for London pass before purchasing it
We bought the 2 day pass and honestly I felt it was worth it
But if you have less time I feel it's better not to get it
The 3 day offer is the best and there are a list of places included :)
Also it provides a good itinerary for all the places to visit in london
D. B.
The London Pass made our trip so much easier. The only problem was there wern't enough hours in the day to see everything we wanted to see!
D. I.
It will be much better if there are more touristist office where u can get more information. There is only one office located near charring cross.London pas is worth and is good to buy it if you want to visit most of the places.
S. V.
it's so nice to have a card that make your tourist life easy. dont't worry about coins using the bus or making line to go to an attraction.
A.
