I have been on a number of Paul's tours (Invisible Cities Edinburgh) and loved every one. Paul is an honest, funny and very dedicated tour guide. It doesn't matter if it is on his quiz, if it is Christmas Day, or if he is on holidays, he shares it with us on his tours. Paul goes above and beyond to make sure that guests understand Invisible Cities mission. I can't recommend his tours highly enough. Looking forward to many more!

Danny was a great guide. His story is moving and inspirational and he tells it with humour, humanity, insight and honesty. He truly gives a voice to the people we often walk past without acknowledging. Recommended. His poetry brings his story to life.

I went on Stephen's tour the other week and I really enjoyed it - he packs so much information into the tour, we covered a lot of ground both physically and historically. I really liked the wide scope and route of the tour which included fascinating stories of Angel Meadow Park and the birth of the cooperative movement.
Stephen was an engaging, funny, and emotive guide who drew on his own experiences and memories of growing up in Manchester to highlight the everyday reality of homelessness. I'd highly recommend this tour for anyone who wants an alternative, unheard account of Manchester's industrial and social history.

Wonderful talk from our guide, Stephen. He was charming and amazing in telling his story of his life in Manchester and how it interlinked with our tour in the city. Would recommend Stephen for your next tour!

Tour with Danny today - showed us around northern quarter as we were treated to his brilliant poetry - each one telling the story of his on/off the cobbles journey. Go see the city from someone's else's shoes. Thank you so much Danny!

We had friends visiting us and decided to go on this tour to get a different view of Manchester. We had a great couple of hours with Danny. He is a wonderful, warm and humble gentleman and it was a pleasure to hear his poetry and experience of the city. We would definitely recommend this tour to others. We are looking forward to the new tour guides starting, when we will hopefully be able to sign up to go again!

Great tour! Really interesting and knowledgeable tour guide as well! Andy was really relaxed and engaging when introducing the different sites we visited and introduced me and my partner to aspects of Manchester's history we weren't aware of. Would highly recommend!

I went on Andy's tour and it was an absolutely fantastic experience!
Andy was so warm, friendly and knowledgeable, giving excellent pieces of information on parts of Manchester that I was previously unaware of. The sense of humour and approachability of Andy throughout made this such a fantastic and enjoyable experience - I'd encourage anyone thinking of giving this a go to go for it, such a great tour!

Danny, his delivery, his honesty and his personality shine through in this poetry and story filled walking tour.
Both living in Manchester all our lives we learnt lots, but more importantly it opens your eyes to other people’s journey and that everyone has a back story ..... take away from this a line as painted on street wall art as seen on tour ..... ‘ a hand up, not a handout’ ..... powerfully simple but so true and Danny is an inspiration to this, motivated and selfless in his sharing and supporting others.
Fantastic couple of hours, educational, empowering, emotional and heartwarming.
Danny keep up the amazing work .... you’re a natural
Thanks for the tour

I went on one of Danny's first ever tours and it was incredibly special to listen and watch him give his experiences of the city through his eyes. The poems he performs at significant points of the tour really added a heartfelt and different element to what a city tour captures, I've never experienced one quite like it! I would highly recommend to any visiting Manchester to go

A powerful, very upbeat two hours with lots of laughter. Challenges both the generic tourist experience and breaks through typical media representations of homelessness leading you to question your own preconceptions. Danny moved me to tears at points; his use of language is powerful especially the recurrence of ideas of hierarchy with the homeless always at ‘the bottom’ and existing all around us but unseen because we don’t want to look. Was also engaged by historical insights offered by Lawrence. Highly, highly recommended.

It was great tour, all thanks to Danny. Such knowledge of a world we know nothing about. Great sense of humour. What a wonderful way to spend a Sunday . And the icing on the cake the beautiful poems Danny had written at each step .Thank you

I would recommend this insightful and interesting tour as a way to gain a different and more authentic perspective on the city. You will still visit some cultural sites (the cathedral, hidden gem, Albert Square etc) but you will also hear about how the homeless live in this prosperous, vibrant city. Danny is a knowledgeable and engaging guide and his poetry is genuine and moving.

Such a moving and eye-opening experience. Danny (our tour guide) was inspirational! Not too long or short so it’s a great way to see a whole other side of Manchester even if you’re just passing through.

Great tour, you see plenty of Manchester plus areas you might have missed without a guide. Danny is an inspiring speaker, there plenty of laughs amongst the more serious facts.

the tour is an insightful and unique experience, and has changed my perspective on both Manchester and homelessness. I would recommend to anyone living in, or visiting the city!
