I was in today to get my Hepatitis B vaccine for my placement with university. The nurse that did it for me was called Danielle, she explained why I needed it, how many I would need and wrote everything down for me. She was extremely helpful and calming. I would highly recommend Nomad travel for private vaccinations. 5 star service!!!!

I visited the clinic last week for my occupational health appointment for university and the experience was amazing. Went for a blood test at Nomad and was very nervous! Very friendly staff, nothing is too much trouble. Everyone has travel experience and are very happy to give advice on absolutely anything travel related. The nurses in the clinic are very thorough, knowledgeable and kind. I had 3 pre-travel injections and purchased the ultimate first aid kit, all with Danielle who was very supportive and informative. The staff in both the clinic and the shop will do anything they can to help and are very honest, not just trying to make you spend as much as possible. I visited the clinic today regarding my occupational health check for university. My whole experience with nomad was very positive from the telephone consultation to the injections i received. The day prior to the appointment nomad called as a small reminder and checked i was still able to go. All of the staff were very helpful and could not do enough for me, i got there very early and they were able to see me straight away and i was out within 10 minutes. I visited the clinic recently to get injections for a university course. I was very nervous about getting the injection but the staff were brilliant and made me feel so comfortable. I can't remember the name of the lady doing my injection but she was so lovely and made me feel very calm. When I started to feel sick and light headed she was very attentive and made sure I was feeling better before I left and did everything she could to help. I have to go back in 4 weeks and I don't feel nervous about coming back after my first visit.

I had to go to Nomad clinic for blood tests due to my university course. I was anxious about the blood tests as I often don’t respond well to any sort of injection. However, I was greeted by a lovely member of staff who got me into my appointment earlier. The nurse who took my bloods was extremely understanding and patient with me. I'm actually looking forward to my second and third vaccinations in the course rather than dreading it like I normally would. After being let down by the NHS countless times its so lovely to be in clean safe surroundings, all the staff are lovely and they even phoned to warn about a protest going on that could impact traffic on the day of my appointment. I had an appointment at Nomad for my pre-placement vaccinations required for my nursing programme, My first visit was for a blood test then followed up with a appointment to receive my vaccinations, the staff were all very helpful on both occasions, from the reception to the clinical room. I'll start off by saying I have an extreme phobia of vaccines, so much so that its taken me a good couple of weeks to even work up the nerve to write this review! I recently attended a nomad appointment for my occupational health check and was seen by Danielle. She was immediately welcoming, depsite the fact that all she had to do was ask me how I was for me to burst into tears! She's been the only nurse I've ever had that has taken my phobia seriously and taken the time to calm me down before doing anything at all. She even let someone come into the room to hold my hand when it was being done because my boyfriend wasn't allowed in (extra special thank you to Marianne for doing this for me, you have no idea how much it helped)! Danielle really took her time with me and allowed me to adjust and calm down before she even went to fetch the things to do it. I can't say I'm looking forward to my next vaccines at all, but I do feel much less anxious and far less stressed at the prospect, especially knowing Danielle is going to be the one doing it :) Thank you very much!

I have booked a last minute trip to Bali and the waiting list to see a nurse at my doctors was ridiculous. Therefore, i chose to go to Nomad for my travel vaccinations and they were able to book me in the following day. I wasn’t sure of which vaccinations I needed and I also didn’t know if I was able to have them due to my endless list of allergies. The nurses were very patient and thoroughly investigated the ingredients of each vaccine. The nurse I saw (Alice) even phoned the pharmacist and asked another nurse to have a look at the vaccines just to be 110% sure. All vaccines apart from the rabies were approved but a second nurse came into the room whilst I had them just to be on the safe side. I then had to wait until the nurses heard back about the rabies vaccine. My next appointment was booked in with Danielle. I changed my appointment so many times (because we hadn’t heard back from the vaccine distributor) and I also had a million questions every time I phoned up. Danielle was always so friendly, informative and understanding. Id just like to thank all the nurses and staff at Nomad for making me feel extra safe and delivering exceptional care!

They have your best interests at heart - it not about making a quick £ here. Danielle made sure I had everything I needed but also kindly let me know which vaccinations I could get on the NHS too. I went to Nomad in Manchester to get the post exposure rabies vaccine after having contact with an animal in Indonesia and having the first vaccine there. I contacted them while I was away and was able to book a phone consultation for the first day I was back! I spoke to Danielle on the phone who was really helpful - she explained the whole process and made it as simple as possible for me, arranging my second vaccine for later that day. She then arranged for my remaining vaccines to be sent to my GP so it would be as convenient as possible for me. Everyone there was very friendly and very efficient. Would definitely recommend!

I am terrified of needles and injections. I shake, sweat and cry if I know I have to have one. I get very upset just thinking about the topic. My friend recommended Nomadi Manchester. I called in to check it out and see if I could make an appointment. I said up front I was nervous and Rob the gentleman making the appointment was so considerate. The next appointment was in an hour so he went to check if the nurse Danielle could fit me in so I didn’t have to wait. Luckily she could! Danielle was kind patient and sympathetic, she talked through my travel plans to check what I would need. There was only one vaccination thankfully. Danielle was careful not to show me the needle and it was also the best injection I ever had, no build up where you wind yourself up about it, just quick and professional. For anyone else that finds injections a challenge I would 100% recommend Nomad. Thank you so much! I visited Nomads asking for help with injections for Australia and Bali; plus I have a fear of injections. Alys was amazing with me and really put me at ease. She was also very helpful and gave me detailed advice. She also let my lay down and another nurse came in too check I was okay. I ended up having 2 injections, they were both really quick and I didn't feel a thing - very gentle and quick. The team at Manchester Nomad Travel Clinic were brilliant, they were calm, friendly, experienced and most importantly they listened me as I explain what helps me feel most at ease. I get anxiety when it comes to injections, and by letting the nurse how I prefer the shots, they help me get through quickly. I like to keep my headphones on during the injection with loud music and keep my eyes closed, then the nurse can double tap which arm I need to keep still and just go for it, do it as quickly as possible - don't wait until I'm ready.. just do it! :) I had 2 different nurses in this clinic and they both really understood me, i think their names were Danielle & Karin Thank you !

Came here for a vaccination for my 3.5 year old recently. Was really easy to get an appointment quickly and the nurse we saw was fantastic. My son hates injections and she was really patient yet got the job done. The only thing is that as soon as the injection was done my son was in hysterics and I was shuffled out of the room to calm him down in the waiting area while the nurse wrote out our certificate, it would have been okay if there hadn’t been other customers around who didn’t give very sympathetic looks to the noise he was making. Perhaps some time in the room would have been nicer until he was a little calmer. Reception staff are very friendly. It’s a little expensive compared to other places and you are charged an extra £15 consultation fee. I would however go back in the future if needed.
