We would definitely recommend Motorhome tours for any escorted trips. Our hosts Giles and Linda are passionate about the service they provide and always go the extra mile to ensure your time away is as enjoyable as can be. We joined them on their recent Norway adventure where we had a fantastic 40 night experience. The routes were well planned together with quality campsites in great locations. Additional ideas for daily trips were provided via the Lyfshort app which they use so we were all connected and kept updated on activities or changes. We were free to do our own thing or join in with a group walks or drinks. We will definitely join Giles and Linda on another adventure soon and wish them well for their upcoming tours.

Well where do I start? From beginning to end (and still ongoing) we have had a marvellous time on this Norwegian Adventure with Giles and Linda and the amazing group of fellow travellers ❤️We’d always wanted to do this sort of journey but were not that confident booking ourselves. Linda and Giles’s meticulous planning and organising meant we could just enjoy the breathtaking scenery and join in the events without all the worry. They are a great couple who made everyone feel welcome, you could join in with as much or as little of the trips they planned . And as for our fellow travellers ? Well we’re finding it difficult to say goodbye ….some of us have joined forces on the journey home …today from 20 we are 6 ☹️ And many of us have booked again for another trip next year…think that says it all❤️ So thank you both for making the last 5 weeks such a blast 🤗 PS The girls say thankyou for all the treats and cuddles 🐶🐶❤️

This is our first experience with Motorhome Tours as we have booked an extended Christmas Rally in the hope that it would be an enjoyable experience. So far, we are absolutely delighted with the trip. Our ‘escorts’ are Giles and Linda (who also own the company) and they have completely surpassed our expectations. Very friendly, yet professional they have kept our group entertained, interested and safe. Nothing has been too much trouble and they are great company. As a measure of how pleased we are, we have booked a further tour which we are very much looking forward to. We would recommend Motorhome Tours without any reservations. Do yourself a favour and give them a go!

We are currently 3 weeks into our Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia & Herzegovina Motor Home Tour. The experience has hugely exceeded our expectations. As this was our first Motorhome Tour we were curious and a little apprehensive as to what to expect. Well…….. we have been blown away by the experience. Giles and Linda had professionally planned everything to ensure a hassle free trip. It was so great to have everything arranged so that we just thoroughly enjoy our trip. We have met a fantastic group of people and made some life time friends. Giles and Linda are so enthusiastic, approachable and great fun to be with. Joined the 2022 tour of Germany, Poland and Czechia to gain some experience of touring mainland Europe. Experience was better than anticipated. Sites were well located for accessing the towns on foot or by public transport. Stops were a mix of durations and well known/should be better known locations. Arranged tours were well chosen and Linda and Giles also supported activities on other “free” days, which were well supported. In summary, was a great way of gaining experience, seeing new places and meeting people. The experience for our dogs was also amazing. Thanks to Linda and Giles for dog sitting twice.

We loved the Christmas rally experience. Giles and Linda certainly helped us in every way. Organising events and excursions in a very efficient and friendly way. I must say, I didn’t expect such a great experience coming on this motorhome rally, from the start Linda and Giles have been amazing!! Such attention to detail is their game and quality is their name!! We have had so many tours and street parties, so many classes and things you either join in, or you don’t, no pressure!! I cant say a bad word about this company! The tour has been absolutely amazing and has taken us to some magical places. Giles and Linda are so knowledgable, personable and such great fun to be around. The group meals have been in some stunning locations, with delicious food, and all the trips have been top notch. This is our first organised Motorhome Tour, but definitely won’t be the last with this gem of a company. Where to start with a review of this fantastic Motorhome Tours tour!? First off Norway is endlessly beautiful so if you love stunning scenery and the great outdoors a road trip is definitely the best way to see this fabulous country. Secondly, Giles and Linda who are themselves experienced motorhomers, are excellent tour guides. They took away all the stress and headaches of researching and booking everything from the Eurotunnel and campsites, ferries, tolls and tags, to organising sightseeing trips, hikes and occasional meals out, which you could opt in and out of to suit. We had regular daily updates about any social activities as well as travel details for the following day. In addition, they’re really nice people with a great sense of fun and adventure and nothing was ever too much trouble. Thirdly our travelling companions who, up until the start of the tour we had never met but who have since become friends for life. As the saying goes, it’s not the destination it’s the journey and we had so much fun and it was such an enriching life experience that we’ve booked more tours with Giles and Linda for 2023; actions speak louder than words! Thank you so much Giles and Linda.

Only 12 more days left of a wonderful experience…touring Norway with Linda and Giles. Never having been on an organised tour, we were unsure of what to expect and what our fellow travellers would be like. So far we have had a fantastic time. Linda and Giles make a great partnership, each bringing their own expertise to the party, to produce a smooth running, well organised tour with which it’s hard to find fault. The venues and campsites were well researched and none was to be missed. Everyone was slightly saddened when the last day arrived all too soon!

We knew that a motorhome tour of Norway would give us the opportunity to ‘take in’ awe-inspiring scenery and a taste of the historical and cultural heritage of the country, but never dreamed that we would enjoy such a fantastic and outstanding holiday experience. Thank you Linda and Giles for planning, organising and leading our expedition with such enthusiasm, commitment and drive. Our introduction pack contained a knitted Viking Hat, which we were all asked to wear (we wondered what sort of trip we had signed up for!) but we all obeyed and it was not long before the ‘ice had melted’ and we were in conversation, sharing amusing experiences with each other. A ‘Vikings on Tour’ WhatsApp was created and very soon we were exchanging photos and stories. We were so surprised that the twenty of us (and we mustn’t forget the five good natured and amiable dogs who added an extra dimension to the trip) could gel so well and establish a friendship group which is likely to last forever! The success of our wonderful holiday was very much down to Linda and Giles, who in their own informal, composed and friendly way supported and guided us during our thirty six day quest of Norway. The well chosen campsites provided everything we wanted and many were rather special - some had great views of glaciers, from some you could see and hear the fast flowing waterfalls and some had beautiful views across fjords. Impromptu pizza parties, the enthusiasm and verve to celebrate the Queen’s Jubilee in the rain on a campsite in Norway and regular evening chats and singsongs around a fire pit (with melted marshmallows!) all added to the enjoyment and merriment. Motorhome Tours is a relatively new venture for Linda and Giles and we have every confidence that their business will thrive - their own individual qualities complement each other and they are keen to please. An extraordinary Norwegian expedition in our motorhome which brought us immense pleasure - dramatic snow capped mountains, incredible glaciers, cascading waterfalls, deep valleys and the immense size of the truly magnificent fjords will live in our memory, together with our new ‘Vikings on Tour’ friends. Well done Linda and Giles.

This is the first time I have been on an organised Motorhome tour outside of “club organised” events and have thoroughly enjoyed it and would certainly recommend the company Motorhome Tours. Traveling as a singleton concerned me as most others are couples but I was more then welcomed into the fold and would suggest that any other singleton’s should not be concerned with joining in one of these tours. Giles & Linda are great hosts and had the whole tour of Germany, Poland & the Czech Republic well planned even down to organising the various toll “gizmos that we needed. They organised walking tours of a couple of venues which I had not done before and found them really good and would certainly do more on my travels. All the campsites we stayed at were excellent and to a good standard. What also made it an excellent trip is that we stayed at places I would not have thought of staying opening new vistas for me. I would certainly recommend them and looking forward to a trip with them next year.

Currently on the 5 week Xmas rally organised by motor home tours ,having purchased our first motor home this year we were complete novices so decided to go with motor home tours and what a great decision it was,even before we left Giles the owner was always happy to help with what was needed to drive abroad and spent ages on the phone answering our many questions,we’re now 3 weeks into the rally and it’s been an amazing experience with something being organised every day from coach tours , meals out , street parties , Xmas dinner, Bike rides ,walks etc. etc.all included in the price and your not obligated to join in if you’d rather do you own thing.the whole group have had a great time and we’ve made lots of new friends ,I’m sure this will be the first of many adventures with motorhome tours and would recommend them to anyone for a hassle free rally or tour.

The Norway Tour is my first experience of a motorhome Tour and what an experience ! Mountains, Glaciers, Fjords , Waterfalls, campfires and new friends. Every site has been carefully chosen and each has offered something different, whether it be overlooking the sea, beside a waterfall or Glacier or near a town to explore. Hi, I'm David. I am with Giles and Linda on the tour of Germany and Poland. As the tour is about half way through, I thought those interested in a future tour might appreciate a few thoughts on how things are going, and why I chose to do this. My life changed dramatically last November, but I was determined to carry on motorhoming solo. I saw Motorhome Tours' Facebook advert, and was interested in the (now postponed) tour of Northern Spain and Portugal as it seemed to fit what I was looking for. So I booked, even though back in March and all through early summer Covid was wreaking havoc on all travel plans. This of course meant that many interested customers didn't like the uncertainty, so Giles and Linda came up with an alternative plan that also suited me - a tour of countries on the green list, Germany and Poland. I don't intend to give you a list of what we have done so far - have a look at Motorhome Tours Facebook page for that (I'm the guy usually in the red jacket) but I can say without hesitation that it has been a hoot! It has been relaxed, informative, interesting and just....fun. I'm really looking forward to the next half. If I were to describe how being with Giles and Linda is, it would be like meeting other motorhomers at a rally, and deciding to go off on tour together as you get on so well. Linda is the organisational brains behind it all, and Giles is the Front man mellifluously smoothing the way (yes that is a word, look it up!). So, should you go on one of these tours. Most definitely! Seriously, you don't need to know any language other than English (in Poland, English was the language that all Europeans used to communicate with each other). As all campsite fees, day trips, and a load of meals out are included, you only really spend money on fuel etc. Go for it. You won't regret it.
