We stayed at Gillyweed in Noss Mayo. It was right on the water front and had fantastic views. The cottage was great and was exactly as described by Rest Assured. Patsy from Rest assured was very helpful which made the booking process and the stay perfect. We will be going back as everyone enjoyed it

Have just had a wonderful Christmas at Knot In Hope Cove with all the family including some from New Zealand. What an amazing location with so much room for everyone. We had lovely walks, saw seals playing in the cove. Went to midnight mass at the beautiful little church across the road. The local Pub was fabulous very friendly. It was a truly wonderful Christmas with memories made to last forever. Thank you Rest Assured would definitely recommend to anyone

We stayed at Cheldon, in June with our 2 young children (both preschool age) and it was incredible. The views from the house are stunning and it’s just so peaceful. We would 100% recommend a stay here for those with young families as the house is spacious enough for them to bound about and we even had the grandparents to stay a few nights and still felt we all had our own space. It’s a very short walk down to a very clean beach with lifeguards and there’s also a little fish and chips place. The open plan kitchen and seating area is lovely (the pictures don’t do it justice), with the French doors out to patio and BBQ going you really could be somewhere in the Mediterranean. It was just so relaxing and we will be booking for next year!

We had a lovely holiday through Rest Assured and would certainly book through them again. Patsy is very helpful and interested in getting things right, and she found us the perfect place for a group of 7 adults. It’s good to be able to book with a business that has local knowledge and where you can always contact someone who will actually sort out any glitches rather than make excuses. All the admin was very straightforward and efficient.

We stayed at West Park and were thrilled with the house and its surroundings. The swimming pool was greatly appreciated by the children. We were a mixed age party of 10 (aged 1 - 70) and the house and its facilities were perfect for all of us.

We rented Myrtle Quay for a family Xmas and we all loved it. Weather was very wet but the huge windows and views over the estuary made it the perfect place for storm watching. It was well equipped for 8 people - we loved the big fridge. We would definately recommend it.

Stayed at Hillcott Cottage in Newton Ferrers for a week. A lovely cottage with excellent facilities and walking distance to the Dolphin pub and the Co-op. Easy access to the SW Coast Path with some lovely walks. We will be going back. A great service from Rest Assured Properties.

We stayed at The Lookout in Battisborough Cross near Mothecombe Beach. The property was gorgeous- spacious, clean and well equipped.The location was ideal for a relaxing beach holiday. I would highly recommend booking through Rest Assured Properties.

Beautiful cottage in a lovely location. Newton Ferrers and adjoining Noss Mayo are both charming little villages and strolling around the area is a joy. Great walks along the side of the Yealm estuary on both sides. Very pretty. The three pubs are all worth a visit, all different but all good and very welcoming. There are also many great beaches a short drive away, the South Hams really is a delight. The cottage itself is beautifully decorated and equipped, couldn’t fault it in any way. We are regular Air BnB users, all over the world, and this was the cleanest, best equipped and decorated one we’ve used. Parking is a bit of an issue but no big deal, we managed to park in one of the 4 spaces outside every day and though it does say there’s a time limit no one seems to enforce it. A great little cottage in a lovely location, enjoy!

We spent a wonderful week at Cheldon. The views from the house across the sea, and to Burgh Island, were spectacular. The house was like home from home with every need catered for. I have never found another kitchen so well kitted out! We were made to feel so welcome. The dogs enjoyed Bigbury Beach which was a short walk away, and we enjoyed the café on the hillside with its delicious cakes, sausage rolls, and ‘meze’ on a Friday evening (need to book early). We also had lovely dog walks at Ayrmer Cove and Wonwell Beach which were a short drive away. We came back completely relaxed and refreshed, and can’t wait to return.

Stayed at Frog-i-more Cottage in Newton Ferres. A lovely cottage right next to the pub and easy access to Noss Mayo. Cottage was clean and well appointed. A delightful stay. Good communication from Rest Assured Properties and would recommend using them.

We had a lovely stay at Dormouse Cottage. The property was tidy and clean with everything we needed. The winter sun flooded in to the living room bathing it with warmth and light. Great to have a good sized bath with integral shower. The tennis court is well maintained. Lovely walks along the coastal path and down to the picturesque village of Noss Mayo with its great pubs. Will definitely visit again!

Very helpful agent. We returned to this property in Thurlestone as it's very peaceful and comfortable. There are good places to eat locally with no need to get the car out unless you want an excursion. Plenty of walking, lots of wildlife

We stayed at Witheridge as first guests and has recently been renovated. It’s has been refurbished to a high standard and was lovely to stay there. We have stayed at many properties in the area and this was a great location and a fabulous place to stay. Patsy and Ken at rest assured are very helpful and look after all your needs with bookings. The boathouse at Witheridge and the jetty, bbq, pizza oven are great and just across the road from the cottage and a place to enjoy the ambiance of the river and watch the boats go by. The yacht club is next door and was fun watching the sailing lessons and competitions for the kids on the river. The Dolphin pub is literally just 30 steps away is convenient for a drink and food too. The property sleeps 8 and is very well equipped. My only reservation is parking as there really is only one space to park just above the boathouse and parking a bit limited for other vehicles but the property is worth the visit and fabulous location. Rest Assured are our go to company for booking in the area and have a wealth of properties available and they are always available for you during your stay and with advice and experience of the area before booking to provide you with with peace of mind when booking for a great vacation.

My family and I stayed at the wonderful Cheldon house in Challaborough Bay in May 22. It was a wonderful week spent in a fantastically comfortable, well equipped home with incredible views out towards Burgh Island and the sea. The south west coast path is a few paces from the house and the beach is a 3 min walk and so we found it to be a perfect base for days down the beach, walks, runs and road cycling too. Even when the weather was less kind, Cheldon had everything we needed to keep everyone in the family entertained. We very much expect to stay there again - a real home from home!

This is a lovely holiday rental. The house is equipped with everything you need but feels uncluttered, light and airy. Sheep in the next field, the sound of pheasants as you wake up and a very cosy atmosphere inside. The house was spotless when we arrived and the instructions left by the host were spot-on; accessible and easy to understand. Would highly recommend.

Had an amazing 10 days in April staying at the beautiful Cheldon in Challaborough. With 4 adults, 4 children and 2 dogs the house was a perfect size to be together & this was without the use of the annex. We all loved the close proximity to Challaborough and Bigbury beaches, the dogs were in their element and so were the kids. The back entrance and utility area is great for drying wet sandy dogs before they enter the house. The shop and pub in walking distance is great and with the cafe’s and surf school in Bigbury also a short walk away the location is perfect. The house is well decorated, has great quality of linen and towels and it has the best equipped kitchen I have ever found in a holiday home which enabled us to cook everyday with ease. The patio to the front of the property is the most beautiful setting to see the sun rise and sunset with gorgeous sea views and we ate breakfast, lunch and dinner there most days. The Tesco delivery drivers also thanked us on both occasions for our orders as they enjoyed the sea views while we unpacked the shopping! We have already booked for a week in the summer for 12 of us and this time with the use of the annex. We are all so excited and are counting down the days until we can return.

We had a great stay in Honeysuckle cottage in Noss Mayo. The house was perfect for a family with two teenagers and a dog. It had every you need and in a great location. Close to an amazing pub and easy access for great costal walks. Easy to book and great communication from the owner.

We had the best Christmas at Gooseneck. The cottage was fantastic and we could walk to thr beach. We loved the light, open plan layout which was light but always warm.We even had home baked mince pies left. The location was perfect..only 15 mins walk to the beach. Patsy at Rest Assured is always brilliant and I always try and go back to her to find a property as she is efficient, friendly, goes out of her way to be helpful and communicates continually when needed.
