Travel is, without question, my favourite thing to do. What is not my favourite thing, is spending pain-staking hours scouring the web to find the perfect trip. It therefore, often gets left until the last minute, I expect costing me dearly. However, thanks to Marie and her efficient expertise, my 2018 is already shaping up to be a fantastic year. She has recently helped me to organise my annual R&R trip to Dubai. Having visited friends in Dubai for many years, I was pretty sure of where I wanted to stay and Marie very quickly planned around my specific hotel and flight requests. In addition to this she had a few alternative suggestions for me and, although initially very sure of my hotel choice, her ideas were hard to ignore. I am delighted to say, that thanks to Marie’s expert knowledge and research she has set me up in a stunning hotel which rivals my original plan for a fraction of the cost. Complete with preferred flights and transfers. The whole process from our initial chat through to the booking was extremely smooth and kept my administration input to an absolute minimum. The entire booking is held within the Travel Counsellors App on my phone which, I know will be invaluable when I’m standing outside Dubai Airport in 50 degrees of heat wondering who the transfer is booked with. I’d highly recommend anyone to speak to Marie, not only to take the stress out of organising their travel but to inspire all of their future travel adventures. I'm normally an independent traveller, booking and organising everything myself but I was persuaded to use Marie for my recent weekend break in Madrid and I'm so pleased I did. Not just great attention to detail but really listening to what I was looking for, hence the hotel she found was perfect. Right in the centre of the city within walking distance of both the main sights and the funky neighbourhoods, with a lovely little balcony, swimming pool and awesome rooftop bar. While she couldn't organise the weather (a bit damp!) she did organise excellent, efficient transfers and offered to check us into the flights - but my independence reasserted itself on that one! A great service, I'll be using Marie and Travel Counsellors again.

Booking my holiday through Marie was an absolute pleasure. My brief was dark skies and Marie was able to give me 5 days of luxury along with some of the darkest skies in the world. I was able to do some “deep space” photography thanks to Marie, something I’ve wanted to do for years. I came back relaxed and motivated. Marie offers service with genuine care. I cannot thank you enough for booking Lydia (my other half) and I a superb holiday away to Malta in June 2017. After giving you a very open brief (by simply listing the country I would like to go to) you made the whole booking process a breeze and displayed excellent knowledge whenever I had a question about my holiday or the country itself. The whole process was incredibly reassuring as previously when I have booked a holiday by myself online, it hasn’t always gone to plan which causes issues on the holiday. Booking through yourself was nothing like this and I didn’t spend the flight worrying about the state of the hotel or panicking If I’ve forgotten to book something. On the day of arrival at the hotel we did have a slight issue in that our hotel had accidentally put us in the wrong room, but this was very quickly rectified and the hotel even compensated us with a free full day excursion. I am positive this is because we booked through Travel Counsellors as when I displayed my booking details on the Travel Counsellors headed paper to reception, the manager dealt with the issue with the utmost professionalism and efficiency. Other than that, the hotel was fantastic and really suited us – the cave bar was particularly epic. Pick up and drop off was so easy and the flights suited our needs fine. What I am most impressed by is your interest in getting to know your clients and finding their desires for what they want on a holiday. This gives you a complete edge over any online business as you can create a bespoke holiday to your customer needs which they will love. Not only am I happy to continue recommending you and the brilliant service you offer, but you have gained yourself a new long term client! We’re already in talks for my next holiday.

Due to the coronavirus situation, booking holidays and finding out relevant details can be extremely confusing, especially when loads of articles are stating different things and government websites not simplifying how things need to work. Hey Marie, We had the best time! The accommodation at both places was spectacular, even to go further & say that on Praslin Island they upgraded us to a beach front apartment due to lack of guest numbers. So you can imagine our surprise & delight at this kind gesture. The staff at both accommodations were friendly & helpful & very attentive. So many times I have approached her with ideas of where I want to go and where I want to stay, very shortly after our consultation she has had my entire holiday sorted for me. I struggle to remember is it left hand over right shoulder, right hand over left shoulder, standing up or sitting down, eyes open or closed. It’s said that throwing coins in the Trevi Fountain will ensure you return to Rome. Lesley and I have a much better plan. Leave it all to Marie. She knows the great places to stay (in our case about 30 seconds walk from Trevi). She makes the whole process stress free and secure. We were met at the airport, no hassling or concerns about taxi fares, public transport challenges, especially as we arrived like the typical bewildered tourists on a first trip to the city. The hotel was lovely and excellent value for money. The flights were conveniently timed and our seats pre-allocated – no worries about getting dragged off the aircraft. A holiday is supposed to take away the strains of life, to allow you to relax and recharge. In Marie’s safe and expert hands we achieved all that and more. I have just returned from a trip of a lifetime around the beautiful island of Sri Lanka and I'd like to thank you for organising such an amazing trip. To be honest, I was a little dubious of the value of using a travel agent when you can book everything yourself online but now I see the light! From the moment we left to the moment we came home, everything was taken care of. We had a busy 2 weeks planned but didn't have to think about anything at all as it was all taken care of. Our friendly driver new our itinerary and punctually chauffeured us in between and around the 6 destinations we visited. We were warmly welcomed at every hotel which were all of superb quality, from the hotel in the middle of the jungle, to the beachfront resort, each was uniquely outstanding.
