It is one of the few spots in Southampton where you can get close enough to the water and smell the Marine air. This is a commercial port serving for the isle of white and hythe. However, keep walking along the pier and spoke you find in the middle of the river. If you are lucky, you can admire beautiful sights.

Once in a life time I was here in called of duties, we go outside and drinking of beer, but it was cold night. We walked but I feel chilled that night going back to ship passing through a cemetery.

I’m quite late to review this, I have been here during July 2018 and it was a wonderful place. We had to stand a lot which wasn’t a very big problem. We were headed for Norway. On Royal Caribbean

Not the prettiest of ports, and not the most scenic of walks between port and city, so get the bus if provided. The city itself has a lot of history if you look beneath the surface. If you want to go look at the ships there are several vantage points but the best views of shipping movements are from Hythe Pier or Hythe Marina on the opposite side of Southampton Water.

Awesome location. This is the famous port where in 1912 famous Titanic ship left for his solo trip. Weather remain quite humid and hot and rain can be very quickly come and vanish with in 10 mins. During night temperature go down and there are lots of activities happens over the evening near to port and near by places. Really enjoyed being over there during our trip through Royal Caribbean during the month of May for northern European. Will suhh2 everyone to have a visit at least once.

The port is under Associate British Port. It has a few cruise terminals and ofcourse the legendary QE 2 terminal. A lot of cruise ships and large yatch. It is a huge commercial port with passenger terminal and cargo terminal.

Easy access and warming staff. Can be a very industrial zone but a lot of effort to keep users of the terminal away from the 'business workers'. Would like to use this terminal again in the future.

A deep water and mixed use port located on a natural inlet and with plenty of opportunities for recreational boating activities as well.

Great place, lots of bars restaurants with diversity of cousin, with free wifi and good prices for UK. Only problem is weather changes several times a day,as everywhere in UK, and late opening hours of most shop's... 10am

(Translated) Nice port, we were looking for the exact dock from where the titanic sailed (apparently it is the dock of gate 4) but it is not accessible to personnel outside the port so we could not see it in situ. What is possible is to see it from the docks where the ferries to the Isle of Wight and others leave right next to it. (Original) Bonito Puerto, estuvimos buscando el muelle exacto desde donde zarpó el titanic (según parece es el muelle de la gate 4) pero no es accesible a personal ajeno al Puerto por lo que no pudimos verlo in situ.
