a. t.Your bus driver's were brilliant today. Me and my mate had to go to southampton hospital from the iow and had no idea what's so ever of how to get there. Four of your drivers were very very helpful and because of that I didn't miss my important appointment and my ferry home. Nice one guys.
E.Often long queues at unilink office and more often than not renewal of annual pass not put on Key card correctly. Bus service overall good but can be overcrowded.
A. D. R.The office sells bus ticket passes for unlink and the bike shed pass to park your bike in the provided sheds at the University, which is £5 per year. Furthermore, they keep a limited stock of bike accessories, such as helmet, lights and locks.
Particularly at the start of the academic year, you may find a long queue there.
P. G. (.The Uni Link busses are accessible for anyone, and will take you from the docks all the way up to the airport and Eastley station. While it is annoying that the bus stops every rough 200 yards making you think whether that was necessary, only to maximise revenue for the company.
Looking at what zou get for your 2 pound sterling single ticket and up (e.g. day ticket), it takes around 40 +/- 10 min. to get from the docks to Highfield Campus at the University of Southampton. The bus will stop throughout the city centre and around student accommodations in the North. As a student, you can get an annual ticket (price not known) saving you money if travelling by bus is your only option.
