Oh goodness, where to begin! We had two absolutely delightful days with Louise. She's full of energy, full of knowledge and just so wonderful to be around. She's native to the area and it really shows - she loves where she lives, loves what she does, and is an exceptional guide. Thanks to her, we learned fascinating tidbits about all of the places we visited (did you know that people used to surf on coffin lids in Cornwall? We didn't either!). We also ate delicious local specialties (pasties from a local butcher shop, fresh scones that she baked for us and prepared as part of a beautiful sunset picnic) and enjoyed a bespoke visit of some of the nicest spots in the region. Inspired by her, we even went surfing in St Ives! (Lou is an avid surfer and can tell you about all of the local surf culture). With Louise, you'll ride in comfort, make exceptional use of your time and see/learn things about Cornwall that you'd never pick up on your own. We saw Merlin's cave, visited the seals at Godrevy (she even thought to bring binoculars!), took in a play at the Minack Theatre, walked past Doc Marten being shot in Port Issac, and meandered through the tin mines made famous by the drama series, Poldark. Knowing that I'm really fond of cows, she also made plenty of stops for me to admire them. Since our visit, I've become enchanted with Gorse - a bright yellow flowering plant that smells of coconut that you'll see all over the Cornish countryside. Thanks to Louise, I learned that is used in locally produced chocolate and heavens is it good! Don't hesitate to book her for a memorable trip that will ignite all of your senses and likely be the start of a new friendship and many future trips to Cornwall.

Did the Fantasy North tour and Louise was positively wonderful! Walked us through all the sights at the various towns at a comfortable pace. Very engaging, forever smiling and the most pleasant disposition. Complete with her lovely homemade scones for a peaceful little picnic stop before heading back. We had a great time with Louise. We are a family of five with 3 teenagers ages 12-19. Louise planned, organized and guided us for five full days in Cornwall. Picking us up every morning at 9 from our cottage returning at 18:00 with a lot of new experiences and personal touch. Louise is very knowledgeable about the area and its hidden gems. More important our kids loved her. Another important aspect was the ability to change the itinerary with respect to changing weather like adding swim days on very hot days. Hope we can come again...

I was visiting Cornwall as a solo traveller and booked Louise's Rosamunde Pilcher tour. The itinerary was bespoke to what I wanted to do, and Louise adjusted to my pace, which was amazing, as with larger group tours you end up getting pushed through sights you might to want to explore longer. The cream tea (scones made by Louise herself) were definitely a highlight! I really enjoyed my time including the nice conversations we had about our families and cultural quirks in Cornwall! My friend and I spent a wonderful day touring several places in Cornwall with Louise. Louise organised a wonderful individual tour catering for my interests and avaiilability.. From the magical atmosphere of The Lizard to the picturesque thatched roofs of a hidden away cornish fishing village, the time was totally brilliantly utilised. We even ended up in Falmouth so we had maximum time for the tour and Louise was close to home when we finished with a tasty cream tea overlooking Falmouth harbour. We spent three days for three separate tours with Louise and greatly enjoyed every minute! She is knowledgeable, capable and a lot of fun. We took her tours of the west, south and north of Cornwall and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Although I have been to the UK many times, this was my first trip to Cornwall, and I feel like I know the Duchy very well from our time with Louise. Recently had a trip with Louise at Experience Cornwall Tours and what an experience it was! I specifically booked Louise as I wanted a Company that would be sensitive to the needs of our party. My son has a disability and Louise was brilliant planning the itinerary to suit, every little detail was thought of. I knew from our correspondence that she would be reliable as she takes such care to ensure you have a good day and it is done in advance so she can focus on you when the day arrives, she is really organised and knows her way around. This for us was a key requirement and she absolutely delivered! Her vehicle is super clean, comfortable and her driving skills are exceptional around Cornish narrow lanes or parking spots. She has such patience and this most definitely helped with my son, meaning I could leave the vehicle for photographs and she even had binoculars to enhance my seal viewing! I couldn't have asked for anyone better, she has such a warm and friendly personality and makes you instantly feel at ease. She positively engaged with my son in a way that not everyone can, she most certainly has a gift. I will definitely be booking with Louise again and I would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone, I can't see how anybody would not finish the day with a smile on their face. As did we when Louise thought carefully about how she could adapt her normal end to the day with a Cornish cream tea, she converted her front seats into a table and we were able to stay in the vehicle and look out at St Michael's Mount. It was such a treat complemented with such lovely crockery. A perfect end to a perfect day but only because Louise puts so much time, love and passion into what she does. I feel so blessed to have discovered her to help our first ever trip to Cornwall go smoothly, we were only there for a short amount of time but were able to see so much due to Louise's expert planning. Lovely person, fantastic company, we will be back!

My family and I loved our tour of south west Cornwall with Louise. We booked it a few months out and Louise was super helpful in ensuring we had the right itinerary setup for the tour. We were all impressed with the different places on the tour, especially our spectacular picnic at Lands End which wasn’t part of the initial plan, but a fantastic suggestion from Louise. It was such a delight to have Lou as our guide in Cornwall. Although we had her for two days, I feel we have seen so much and experienced so much out of Cornwall. She has taken us to the MOST stunning and off-the-beaten-track spots in the region: seal spotting in Godrevy, Poldark drama filming set visiting in Botallack Mine, home-made cream tasting at the mind-blowing Land's End, just to name a few. We had an outstanding experience of Cornwall tours run by Louise. We are from India. We had hired them for 2 days. Louise is a very safe driver. She drives a big spacious and well maintained VW van. She is very punctual. She knows the whole of Cornwall very well. She accompanied us throughout the tour and gave us information about all sites pretty well. She is very friendly and a caring person. What touched our hearts was her arranging a small stool to help my wife get into her car which is a high elevation van. She was there everytime to help her get in and out of the car. Another outstanding gesture was to arrange tea and scones at Minack theatre. She had carried a briefcase full of variety of tea bags and cups and saucers. She also carried a mat with her. I had never expected having tea at Minack theatre in a proper ceramic cup when others were having it from paper cups. It was way beyond my expectations. Throughout our 2 days of tour with her we exchanged our family backgrounds and personal stories. She gave us a very homely feel. It was a tour we will never forget. Thanks a lot to Louise for all that she did for us being very kind, thoughful and caring. We highly recommend Cornwall tours to anybody especially for families.

A long overdue review (and a long review!)!! If there were more stars above, I would award them all to Louise! Initially, I only booked one full day tour in June this year (the 22nd), specifically to do a pilgrimage to the place where my Cornish grandfather grew up - at the Old Station in Camelford. His father (my great-grandfather) was the station master there. Louise tracked it down for me, as it stopped being a station at least 35 years ago, which is how long the current owners have been living there! The house and outbuildings were concealed from the road, but Louise had it all worked out. The very elderly owners were trimming their trees on the pavement and were initially reluctant to engage, even though I said that I had come all the way from South Africa to find my roots. Bold Louise charmed them into eventually spending quite a bit of their morning with us, showing us the relics of the station, and the old tracks, and taking us through all the historical docs and old photos and their vintage car collection, to playing with their gorgeous Siamese cat. We then strolled around Camelford - so eerie being in the place my grandfather had inhabited until the late 1920s. Louise indulged my nostalgia completely! we even came across a memorial stone for the young Camelford men who had died in WW1 - and there was my great-uncle Fred Thomas!!! I wanted to visit all the places (well, as many as poss!) that my grandparents had visited in 1974. Louise was so accommodating and we went way over time - I think I got back to St Ives at 6h30pm! We went on to Tintagel and clambered over the ruins, had a fab lunch in the town, and then a divine homemade cream tea on the beach at St Michael's Mount. Louise helped me find some Cornish beach pebbles to take home to my mom. I made a new friend that day. I had the Best Time. So much so that I booked Louise for another day! This time, we had a wild wet hike in the howling gale at Land's End, visited all the tin mines and the arsenic works, recapped Poldark, had a ball at the Minack Theatre, ate the best Cornish pasties in her car, and popped into Mousehole for tea. We spent ages at the old Church and graveyard at Zennor, where she kindly bought the little prayer book for my mom. She regaled me with the myths and legends of everywhere we went. She is very knowledgeable about the weather, the history, the terrain, where to get the best pasties and deals on souvenirs, the best ice cream, the best swimming, the best surfing... and she is fully prepared for every eventuality! including an amazing warm, waterproof weather poncho, without which I could not have managed the extreme conditions on the cliffs at Land's End! I promised Louise that I would be back someday soon to do a full hike there with her! With all my love to you, Louise, my dear Cornish friend. Those two days with you were the most memorable of my holiday. It was spending the day with a dear friend and kindred spirit - and not just an amazing, go-the-extra-mile, bright personality, can-do tour guide!! xxx

I've visited Cornwall a long time ago and loved it, this time however, was very different. When you're taken on a tour by Louise you simply live it! What a treat to be shown around the beautiful surroundings of Cornwall by someone so knowledgeable and in such comfort. This tour was the highlight of our visit to Cornwall. Louise is the best! She took wonderful care of my family and showed us fantastic sites. We learned so much and the whole day was thrilling!Louise thought of everything from taking us to a drive-through to get coffee and hot chocolate at the beginning of the tour to stopping in a little town to get us an authentic Cornish pasty to try. Louise offered our squad the Wild West Tour back in October 13th. Our tour day basically covered all points of interest like The Land's End, Minack Theater and St. Michael's Mount. But Louise went the extra mile by adding ons some scenic and historical spots like Zennor, Botallac Mine, St. Just, Mousehole and Newlyn. We just love every single place she brought us too! We were just in awe how accomodating, organised with the trip and well-informed she is everytime we raised questions about certain information. She definitely is a child of Cornwall! More to say, she got the patience waiting for us in every photo op we'd like to take in each spot we visited plus the fun when we 'forced' her to join our tiktoks! Lastly, the biggest treat we all received from her is not her bringing us to all the picturesque places, but her personally preparing an afternoon tea hamper with no less than a very legit Cornwall scones she baked herself -- and yes, that was by far the best scones we ever tasted! Worthy to mention - that effort of hers makes her standout and be the best from the rest! We really enjoyed our fun-packed day with her that when we finally realised the tour's ending, the whole group got some separation anxiety 😂 We highly recommend smiley and delightful Louise to be one's tour guide when in Cornwall! Her services is definitely no money down the drain. Compliments also to her mini van/bus that is very clean, comfortable and equipped with sanitisers! We did the Wild West tour and this was the highlight of our holiday. Louise was great. She let us do the tour at our own pace and nothing was too much trouble. She prepared every detail of the trip from the time we started till the end. I really enjoyed the part wherein she toured us in St.Ives and had the chance to explore different shops. I booked myself a trip as a birthday present to myself and wasn't sure what to expect. Louise arrived on time and was so warm and welcoming she put me at ease immediately. Her knowledge of Cornwall is second to none, she made the day absolutely perfect. I highly recommend everyone book one of her trips as they are well worth it and you will see places around Cornwall that you wouldn't know were there and you will learn the history behind these places too. Time flew as I was having so much fun and was kept interested the entire day. To end the day we had a lovely cream tea picnic on the Bodmin Moor, the scones were baked by Louise herself and they were absolutely delicious! Louise loves what she does and it definitely shows. What a great time we had with Lou from Experience Cornwall Tours! We booked a day tour for our family of 4 (two teenage daughters)with her and we all had an amazing day! Lou is lovely and has so much knowledge; she told us many interesting things about the area. She customised the trip to our liking and the yummy scones at the end of our walk along the coastal path where a real treat! We saw many interesting places like St Michael’s Mount, Mousehole, The Minack theatre by the sea, Lands End and lots of stunning coastal views. The van is very comfortable to sit in and Lou had also thought about some lovely details like a warm blanket and a bottle of water for each person. She’s an excellent driver as well! I used Experience Cornwall for an early morning photographic trip on June 3rd. Louise arrived to pick me up 5 mins ahead of schedule in her spotless VW Caravelle van and we had a great morning exploring the area around the Lizard. Lousie had prepared breakfast which was both plentiful and beautifully fresh. Nothing is too much trouble for her. On a couple of occasions she left me at a cove whilst she sprinted back up the steep hill to bring the van down to collect me! A mpst enjoyable day on the Fantasy North tour. While we have live in Cornwall for over thirty years, this showed us places we had never seen. We were picked up from our home by our driver/guide and taken first to Padstow, where we visited the National Lobster Hatchery - a fascinating place well worth visiting. After a look at the harbour we went on to see St Enedoc's Chapel beautiful, 12th century and still in use. It is now in the middle of a golf course and reached from Daymer Bay beach After a picnic lunch in Polzeath and a visit to Port Isaac, we arrived at the main attraction - Tintagel, which is so much more than a castle that it had to be seen to be believed. The day was completed by an excellent Cornish Cream tea prepared by our guide who has cukinary skills as well being a guide who gave us the facts to add interest to the day without overloading us. She then delivered us home at exactly the time she had promised

Can't recommend Experience Cornwall enough. Lou is an amazing host who really does care and have a passion for what she does. I wanted to do something different for my birthday this year and visit some places I haven't been before and I wasn't disappointed. Not only this but we finished with a beautiful homemade cream tea overlooking the sunset at Lands Ends (perfect way to end the day!) From the offset we were impressed, a friendly and professional service was provided on the phone answering all the questions we had, the friendly and professional service continued throughout our tour. Due to the current pandemic we were nervous about visiting "tourist hotspots", Louise quickly put our minds to rest with her vast knowledge of the area and suggesting a personalised tour catering to our needs. We were met at our accommodation by Louise, she was an engaging and enthusiastic host, and again put our minds at ease with a brief summary of our day ahead.We were then swept off on an adventure, from wooded waterfalls, through to a secluded traditional fishing village, and finishing with cream teas on a cliff edge, Louise's passion and knowledge shone through at every turn. We didn't want our adventure to end. Louise had the timing perfectly balanced, at no point did we feel rushed. Our highlights of the tour include: - Exploring woodland walkways packed with waterfalls and watermills. - Hiking an idyllic section of the coastal path. - The freshest crab sandwich from the secluded traditional fishing village - Louise's infectious enthusiasm - Homemade Cornish cream tea picnic on a cliff edge.
