Our family of 10 scheduled a private tour of Whitby and the North Yorkshire Moors on our two week vacation of the UK from the US. We didn't know what to expect on the tour or this area of the UK, but we were so incredibly delighted. Alan was our guide and what a treat it was to have him tour us around. He was amazing: kind, knowledgable, considerate or our time, engaging, and accommodating. We saw some of the most amazing sites of the coast and the Moors. He took us to one of the most phenomenal ruins we had ever seen - a complete surprise - we could have stayed there all day. These ruins ended up being the highlight of our trip for many of us. I can't wait to go back and picnic there one day, maybe we will see Alan there!! haha. Needless to say if you are looking for a great tour of Yorkshire, DO NOT hesitate to book here!! You will not regret it! You will leave the day with memories, full bellies and a new member of your family! Thank you Alan!

Fun and convenient way of travelling the York Moors and Dales National Park and villages. Trip was well paced, with many photo opportunities, snack and toilet breaks. Mark was a cheerful and knowledgeable tour guide. I had great fun during the trip.

I booked the full-day private tour of Haworth & the Yorkshire Dales, and I was lucky to have Mark as the tour guide. He was professional, knowledgeable and he would make sure you have the best experience and that you enjoy the trip. I never felt rushed or that I am missing on something. I applause BOBH for the measures they took to be COVID secure; I never felt that I was risking my health or being unsafe. My 83 year old mother and I took the Yorkshire Dales and the North York Moors\Whitby trips with Mark. We both had a great time. Mark is the perfect guide--very clearly spoken, with tons of interesting and fun facts about the region. Of the two trips, we enjoyed the North York Moors one the most. That might be just because the weather was so awful on the Dales tour, but I think the North York Moors\Whitby one benefited from a nice long stop in Whitby so we had plenty of time to explore on our own. The whole BOBH operation seems very well run. My only suggestion would be to have some sort of email the week before the trip saying "Looking forward to seeing you soon" as a friendly bit of reassurance that the trip is running as planned.

My mother and I went with BOBH to visit Haworth and the Yorkshire Dales. Brilliant tour from start to finish, Chris was extremely knowledgeable and gave us interesting anecdotes about the places we visited. The tour size was good (only 15) and that meant we could take our time meandering through the different places. The bus was comfortable. The amount of time we spent in each place was perfect and we didn't feel like we were rushed.

Very pleasant experience to get away from the town and explore all the countryside surroundings around Yorkshire. Very polite and well spoken tour guide, plenty of time to spend with yourself wondering around in the villages during the stops. Beautiful scenery and smooth road. Highly recommend.

We did all three trips on offer in June 2019. Each in a small bus with driver/guide. Pickup was timely in each case. Different guides with different styles but each was friendly, welcoming, and courteous. Two were more entertaining and knowledgeable but the third was still very good. We went out into the Moors and Dales and also to Whitby. Quite stunning. Do not miss! Very good value for money; tours take several hours, parents might need to keep children entertained between stops. Safe driving. Highly recommended.

The trip was really interesting and fun. We would like to thank Mark who was very well informed and we learned a lot. He also had a great sense of humour. We would have liked to spend more time in Whitby but have decided that will be our next trip. It was interesting and fun to go on the steam train and see where some of the Harry Potter film was made. Wonderful day in the dales!! Mark gave great information as we drove which both entertained and educated. Our only disappointment was not enough time in Hawes to see more--but the scenery was incredible, we had a terrific time, and will just need to plan a return trip!

Thoroughly enjoyed the day trip to Haworth and Bolton Abbey. It was small tour group on a comfortable bus giving it a very VIP feel, especially appreciated the air conditioning as it was a hot day. Our bus driver Chris was very knowledgeable with lots of interesting facts about the Brontë sisters and Haworth, and he also knew lots about Yorkshire and its village life! Chris also gave the group tips of where to go and what to see at each stop which helped us to get the most out of it. There were plenty of shorter stops between the bigger stops at Haworth and Bolton Abbey; we loved that each shorter stop was in a picturesque village, one even had a hidden waterfall! It made a perfect picture moment for me and my girlfriend! We will be going on another BOBH tour next time in York.

I am from India and in York for last two months. Every weekend I am exploring a new place at UK. Two weeks ago I went with Bobh tour. The host and driver Mark is an excellent person. He has travelled many countries in the world. At first he introduce himself, as well as we were asked to introduce ourselves. I have found many positive things about this tour- 1. Car and Driver both are excellent. 2. Guide mark gives many informations. He does not talk unnecessarily, just gives information which is needed! 3. He does not stuck always with you. Just arriving to a spot, gives some informafion and then disappears, giving you ample time to explore the place alone. The negative side- I found nothing bad. I will be happy if they lower price a lottle bit, at least for the students of University of York. In this trip we were two from Univ of York. If they give a little discounts, we may recommend to other students also. In a nutcell, you will be happy with Bobh tours.
