We stayed at Bar Wall Cottage for 2 nights. What a beautiful house! The attention to detail in both the decor and facilities were excellent. Yorguest made everything so easy, nice simple check-in, and lots of little extras to make our stay perfect. We didn’t want to leave!

I have stayed here on numerous occasions over a number of years in several different apartments and have never been disappointed. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with well appointed kitchens. Coffee, tea, milk and some chocolate (nice touch) all included. It's a good location, pretty close to the city center and the train station, just a 15-20 minute walk. The staff are very helpful and have gone out of their way to help. Whenever I go to York, these apartments are always first on my destination of choice.

Beautiful apartment with a view of the minister and all! Very close to city centre and self check in was simple and stress free. Central location to shops and bars. Fully kitted out kitchen and some lovely welcome gifts of tea and coffee with milk was lovely. Beautiful decor and sofas and beds were extremely comfortable. All the amenities you would need are in the apartment. Also extremely clean, couldn’t fault anything at all. Steve and Phoebe were very attentive with any queries we had and were quick to reply to messages. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. Will stay again when we’re next in York. Thank you so much!

We stayed at the cocoa suite in York, the place was stunning and in such a good location! The place was clean and had everything you needed, right down to the great coffee for the mornings! I will say though that we had issues with the parking and I tried both numbers that were given to me for the after hours emergency line, and the first person hadn’t a clue why we were calling them and they don’t help the building we were staying in and the other number never responded to my text! Definitely something you guys need to improve!

We stayed in The Drey (York) for the Jubilee weekend and it was a fantastic property in a great location. The property was clean, had a great layout with every utensil and device you need. There were also a range of tea and coffee to get you started, also a small cleaning kit which was a great help. The location is just a few minutes walk from the city centre with other bars and cafes even closer. All in all a great weekend was had by all.

Light, bright and spacious, this apartment is in the perfect location. Centrally located so everything is easily reachable but quiet so there’s no disturbance at night. Plenty of linen and towels, even shower gel and shampoo. I would definitely stay there again.

Unfortunately the house has a few maintenance issues and I'm guessing hadn't been aired before we arrived. It stank. From drains or damp or both. The shower room was excellent. The kitchen fan old and noisy and the light wasn't working. And we found a broken bowl in a drawer. Linen very good and generally clean. Amazing map on the wall. The location is perfect by a huge park and near the river.

Clearly Apartments Fabulous Find. Ideally located just a 15 minute walk from the centre of York. Lots of lovely independent coffee shops on main route into centre. Apartment has everything you would need and luxury towels and bedding. Check in was so easy via a lockbox. Steve the owner of the house was brilliant also. Would advise you book the permit parking on the link sent after your booking confirmation as this was a godsend. Will definately be back.

Lovely apartment very clean and very near centre of York Nice touch of coffee tea chocolate and milk when we arrived Quiet street Only thing I would say is the stairs in our apartment were rather steep and winding climb not for anyone who has restrictions with mobility we didn’t know this at the time. All was ok for us …but we were very careful especially coming down . But wouldn’t let stop us from saying here again (but maybe ground floor next time )

Thankyou for a great stay My sister and I stayed in Great Gate House View on Mickelgate York. The property was well decorated lovely and warm super clean and comfy, lovely comfy beds. Comprehensive welcome pack. Very central for all Yorks attractions. Maybe just a sheet with basic instructions on so don’t have to keep referring to messages.

Really nice cottage with 2 bedrooms, do keep in mind one is two seperate single beds with a beam in the middle but very comfortable, clean and warm! Free parking and just 15 minutes walk from the centre.

The agent, YorGuest's service and information was excellent - could not be improved. The house is modern and warm and close to River Ouse walks and 10/15 mins walk from York centre. A perfect holiday destination. especially the York Minster.

Really great property, really good price and staff responded immediately to my queries despite the weekend. I had missed a detail of paying £250 deposit under the 'important information' section, so do read everything in full, obviously. But would definitely stay here again on next visit to York!

Stayed at Rowntree One for a couple of days. Fab apartment in a beautiful building. Beautifully decorated, welcoming and super comfy. The apartment was spotless and has everything you could need. Tea, coffee and milk provided. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the fab shower. Comfy big sofa and Sky and Netflix. Brilliant location . . The Shambles is 2 mins away and York Minster around 10 mins walk. One of the best places we have stayed. Would highly recommend 10/10

We stayed at the locket studio apartment 5 minutes from York city centre, beautiful location,very quiet and friendly area. Nicely kitted out and a brilliant place to stay for a nice city break!

We booked a four night stay in a 3 bedroom house in York city centre through Yorguest. It was a great experience. The house was lovely, and the customer service was first rate and very efficient. The only mistake they made was to forget to invoice £25 extra for our dog - when I pointed this out, they waived the charge! Would definitely recommend, and use again.

Ideally situated for exploring York, 33 Coco Suites was a great base. Nicely furnished, everything you need for a relaxing stay. The only issues we found were not being able to use all the heaters, two out of three didn't work, dirty mugs and a broken glass. None of this stopped us enjoying our base. Would recommend staying here.

We were fortunate enough to stay at Woodlands Cottage last weekend. It was amazing. The cottage is beautiful and is set in lovely surroundings and the size and accommodation was perfect for our extended family. Home from home with everything you could want in a holiday home. Great correspondence with Lorranine and Hayley. Local pub food great and not too far away either. I cannot recommend enough.

We stayed at The Tannery the presentation of the appartment was exceptional very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. With little extras such as milk, coffee, tea which was a lovely surprise The location was great as it was only a 5 minute walk into York centre which was ideal. The secure parking was very handy. Really great house in a quiet and peaceful location. The house has everything you need for a weeks stay and the gardens were great for the dogs. The walks from the cottage and through the Nature Reserve were perfect. We used the Spa at the Oaks for a few hours and played golf at Boothferry and the Forest of Giltres, all spot on. York, park and ride was really convenient and York itself is a lovely place. Didn’t think too much of the Drovers but it was ok, the menu just suggested more than the dishes delivered. The White Swan at Bubwith was ok and we also took in a Turkish Restaurant in Selby which was really good. The curry at Bubwith was good and so too the butchers. Couldn’t ask for too much more all round. Would definitely recommend the House for a bit of R&R.

Just returned from a 3 day break away at the gorgeous Rowntree One in the centre of York…wow! Honestly one of the best places we have stayed, had everything you needed and the decor was beautiful. We have just returned from a lovely week at Old School View. It is a lovely house with all home comforts. The house is in quiet street around 20 mins walk into York. There is nothing to fault about booking with Yorguest, the staff are very helpful especially Lorraine.

The property was perfect for our family of 4, had everything we needed for a comfortable 3 night stay, was in a quiet location but only a 5 minute walk from York Minster!
