S. C.Great halls of residence, each room is well laid out and comfortable enough (think mini hotel room). The facilities for the residents are great, TV, cookers etc. A few niggly maintenance issues but hopefully they'll get sorted soon enough.
There's a lot going on in the area for students so expect some late night fun around the halls!
Fairly regular inspections are good to keep an eye that the place isn't getting trashed.
J. B.The bedrooms and en-suites are lovely but the temperature control is really bizarre. You can't open the windows so it gets really really hot in summer. Also the water saving feature in the shower, I get why they do it but it's really annoying because it times out after about 30 seconds.
J.Aberystwyth university accommodation, absolutely fabulous. My son loves his room and the communal space.
A. C. H. P.I only popped in to return my sons key. The car park was full and 2 employees were walking across the car park. They pointed to an area for me to park and advised me not to pay and display as I was o ky going to be there for a minute or 2.
A lovely lady greeted me and was very nice and friendly. I didn't see much of the building but what I did see was very clean and smelt good too.
A. S.The best accommodation for the university. Modern with large rooms and double beds. Good access to campus and CK's (but avoid the latter unless you want food poisoning) Pricey but well worth it when compared to the slums of PGM. Tends to get noisy during the weekend but weekends are for the sesh after all.

A. l. b. o. e.rooms are great, modern and spacious, very noisy place to live (what do you expect with flats full of students), a CK Foods across the roads and a fish and chip bar make for good late night stops. Easy to find your way around and have a cafe area based in the reception. very student friendly.

J. M.Rented here for my first year, enjoyed the benefits of my own toilet, didn't enjoy the fact I could smell my toilet from my bed. Enjoyed a nice big kitchen, didn't enjoy sharing said kitchen. Loved the double bed, wish it didn't break every time it got used. Overall, highly recommended for the first year students, but think about moving to town after a year, inspections can get annoying when your paying this much.
S. C.The best student accommodation we've seen on all our open day visits. Good sized rooms, great facilities, nicely spaced out on the site with open green spaces throughout and a safe walk to Uni campus.
S. M.The rooms and kitchen are lovely however there are no opening windows which causes the rooms and kitchen to become airless and hot, also you are unlikely to get you deposit back. The communication with the accommodation offices is not overly pleasant - I felt the students were treated like children and not young adults - fridge and cupboard space is very limited dispute the large kitchen

S.High standard of accomodation catering for the university students,but available for the private use during the summer holiday with shared communal kitchen and dining room for six individual self contained flats, with each flat having its own shower and toilet.A very high standard of hygiene and cleanliness was a pleasant surprise.Peaceful and private with zero street noise because of it not being in an urban environment.I would have no hesitation in recommending to my friends and relatives looking for a staycation

J. W.It is lovely accomodation, with state of the art door security, meaning there is no worrying about being unsafe. The rooms are great and spacious, and lots of room to put your belongings. En suite barthroom, is really handy to have no need to share.
Shared kitchen and living area is also really great. Enough allocated space for each person. Overall induction cooker takes a while to get used to, we had to experiment a couple of times.
Overall really great accomodation!
V. M.Absolutely amazing place to spend first year at uni. Double bed, ensuite, large kitchens all perfect for getting to know uni life. Only two cons: cost of washing machines and the distance from the town centre!
J. W.Best choice of University provided accommodation for first year students. Only downside is that it's fairly expensive (approx. £135+ a week, inc. bills), and the non-student accommodation staff are quite unhelpful - the student staff are great though! Also, the maintenance contractors (Balfour Beatty) are very helpful. Non-student staff are also very pedantic when it comes to final room/communal inspections - so don't expect to get your deposit back at the end of it. Also, bare in mind that the fee structure for Fferm Penglais involves a 1/3 payment in May, which is just 1 month before a vast majority of students finish their exams and lectures, etc. This is unavoidable regardless of university accommodation, however it's good to know.

D. S.Stayed here during music fest week, and I have to say it is absolute luxury compared to my old uni halls! I imagine it's rather expensive as a student though
E. S.If you wanna be in halls but enjoy luxury this is it. However, they're still halls so they're still noisy, echoey and feel just that little bit like a hotel. Also people steal post.
