An institution full of wonderful teaching staff with so much potential being dragged down by middle management, and jobsworths. Sad to see.

Having been here a while I'll change my review, I feel I've been overly harsh and given an extra year I think I can give a better one. Overall the tutors are good people, some seem to be a little overworked, either by them taking on too many classes or the college itself. However the course coordinator I have is a great person and made things work during lockdown and always tries to keep students up to date. All of the tutors really want students to pass, however a passing grade is the lowest possible grade in the course I'm on. That said 2/3 of the tutors want students to get the best possible grade and will help students towards that. Some of the tutors however just want students to get the bare minimum so that it doesn't reflect badly on them, but the majority will do everything in their power to make it so that students can get the highest grade possible, some practically bending over backwards to accommodate this. At the end of this year I should (as it stands currently) end this course with the highest possible grade. Occasionally I had to ask a couple (out of many) tutors to double down a bit and do more but overall they've gotten me through a course that I never thought I would pass, never mind excel in when I started. Though the college does have some issues most tutors (especially the ones who have a real passion for teaching their subjects) are great. If I had to rate it out of 10 it would be an 8.5. If there is some slack other tutors try to take that up and when I actually think about the amount of work they do it's not an easy job. So I've completely changed my mind when it comes to BMC, it isn't Harvard but it's a great wee college.

I done my apprenticeship here. You have to have certain qualifications to get into it. But it is a very good tech to get into. And the staff are always nice and friendly and helpful.

I love it. I'm doing foundation art and design and they couldn't be more supportive and helpful. As long as you put the work in they will do everything they can to help. The teaching is excellent in each class. I would recommend the arts courses to anyone!

Love Belfast Met. Have both studied and worked here. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to advance their academic career. The Millfield campus - while being an older building - is still on par with the Titanic campus, and offers the same quality of education and equipment.
