Rather expensive, especially the laundry. Sometimes run out of hot water in shower. Not bad location. Quiet environment. Friendly staff.

I am an overseas student and chapel heights made me feel home like here. I saw many student accommodation, but by far this has actually been the best in all areas, the rooms are beautifully made, we have so many things here like gym, cinema room, common room where we can chill. And there are so many amazing events where we could meet new people and have fun. if someone is studying at Durham University, I would totally recommend this place.

one of the best accommodations around Durham, Rooms are much better, well furnished and spacious than other accommodations, last but not the least amazing staff and people to be around, However it could be a bit far for some subject students. good gym and great cinema and common rooms. great place to stay.

Am having a wonderful time living here. It's a good in-between distance from town and the larger shopping areas to the west, in addition to a series of bus stops nearby depending on where you need to go (including the train station!). The staff are super friendly and willing to help with anything. Being from a different country I initially had many random questions about English life in general, to which they were more than helpful. The room is a decent size, and has plenty of space for random storage.

Beginning with an emphasis on the location, it's PERFECT with all necessities and entertainment within 0.6 miles and things like gym and Cinema room and a super cool common room inside. Access to public transportation is another great factor. Talking about the accommodation it actually meets all your expectations and trust me it's exactly what's been shown on all pictorial descriptions. 100% recommended.

its a wonderful experience, amazing hospitality with amazing refreshments. Room is more beautiful than anticipated with bang on high speed WiFi. It's 20 minutes walkaway from Durham University and also just 10 minutes away from city centre.

I have loved living at Chapel Heights since leaving uni halls. Everything is in such good condition, like new, and lovely and modern. Everyone who works here is so nice and makes it feel really homely. Being able to have peace and quiet and my own space as well as a common area and gym makes it good all-round!

Super nice place. Very close to the city centre. Like 5 minutes. Not too loud. Great events and friendly staff. Helful as well. Helped to sell out my room as i could not be there for all the dates i paid for. Room support is great too. You have a dishwasher!!! I found out only after 5 monts😅😅😅.

i love here so much i dont wanna leave! I love my room-fantastic view!- i could see the train running accross the mountain from a distance/ trees/ fields/ sunset/ sky/ fogs. Great Staff! the room is very warm also. You can turn on the heater 24/7 Plus on the corridor also warmed up with heaters. Great facility system-gym-movie room-common room-clean-new. The rooms are not too crowded/ nice space and modern design. Near Bus stop/ Also you need a key card to access the Building/Room. Also very safe because CCTV 24/7-monitoring all the time-great place for students far away from parents. only 15 mins to Town/Tesco. 30 mins walk to the University library. You can always go talk to the reception if you ever feel lonely, they also organize social events from times to times. It really feels like home here!

Great location and best value for money you will find in Durham. Staff are amazing and understanding. They engage residents in various activities which is great for socialising eg quiz nights (with lots of free pizza), halloween parties (with lots of snacks and cocktails), movie nights (which include popcorn), a beautician who comes and gives services like facials, massages, etc The suggestion box is taken very seriously and they act upon residents suggestions. Loved my time here.

I have been living here for more than a year now and all I can say is that you will never find a great place like this around. The location is great as it is only a walking distance to city center or even tesco extra, Bill Bryson Library. That means if you prefer taxi, it would cost only 5 pound to those places. Staffs are superb!! Super responsive, nice and treat us as their own family. I feel like I have siblings living here with me. Most of all, you will never miss your parcel if you live here. For the room, it is absolutely worth the money we pay as all the convenient stuffs are provided i.e. oven, dishwasher, tv, vacuum, ironing board and machine. So, this is the best home you can ask for!!!!!!

Nice spacious rooms at a decent price. Even comes with a dishwasher! While it's not the most central, everywhere is still only a 10-20 minute walk, so easy enough.

Accommodation is the best i've experienced across 4 years in 2 different Universities. Facilities are great including cinema, common room area and a fitness room for free! People are friendly and the staff are very accommodating
