S. B.I’ve had children stay at both Glasgow University and Strathclyde University student apartments. The James Young building seems the best so far. The rooms are well equipped and comfortable. There seems to be be a good response from staff if there are problems. I do feel it is a little overpriced for the standard of accomodation. Whenever I visit my child it is extremely noisy which you would expect from student flats. There is also an issue with James Young being on campus and therefore being so near all the promotional booze activities. People have been sick several times in the entry way to the building which does not make for a pleasant visit. But overall I think the James Young building does what is expected in a relatively safe and comfortable way.
