Brilliant place to live, stayed here last year and decided to book it again for this year! All the staff are incredible. Stevie, Fatima and Mo have really made a lot of effort to make sure every issue is dealt with asap and have been so kind and welcoming from the very beginning :) Honestly the best Uni accom l've stayed at (plus the location is brilliant because everything is so close by). Thank you guys so much!!

It's a very nice place but my room was dirty, stank of smoke so they wedged a table in the door to try and get rid of it when I moved in, and unlike most student places you don't have pans, pots, or even a kettle. The buildings themselves aren't bad and I love the outside bit but was let down when i moved in, probably more the cleaning staff than anything but still.

My daughter stays here for uni and the building itself is great however there are issues with other students not cleaning up their mess in their space. My daughter had been away for a week and came home to a mouldy smell in kitchen as other residents hadn't emptied bin. The smell hit us as soon as door was opened. My daughter shouldn't have had to go back to that and clean their mess.

amazing accomodation, the studios are spacious and luxious, personally I think the staff make this place the best possible accomodation in Leicester. Fatima, Stevie and Rose are all such lovely people, and for that matter all of the staff are amazing people, every single one of them. They really make you feel welcome every time to speak to them.

Sakeena, Fatima and Stevie have been lovely during my tenancy with Lumis especially since there has been a change in staff. I felt that I was comfortable staying here than any other accommodation compared to the past 4 years that I have been staying in other university private residences. The location for this accommodation is close to DMU. The site is well maintained and secure with security. I have had no huge maintenance issues and had access to the common room whenever I wanted to chill with friends. I am glad that I chose to stay at Lumis and the staff do make you feel at home. Thanks again to the Lumis team for looking after us.

Its a fine place to love in really ridiculous that we cant get out packages till 1 tho. As we are adults and we should be able to get it when we want. I really wish the gyms were supervised more people will just show up and not actually work out and distract others . Common area are sometimes really gross over the weekened like the lift had an absolutely awful smell

Without a doubt, the best accommodation I've stayed in throughout my uni life. Well worth the money. To start, the rooms are brilliant, quiet, and clean. The reception staff learn your name and I only go to them when I have post but I'm always greeted by "Hi Sam". The staff are always happy to help. If I was to make one change, it would be that they implement a database where they write if someone has a parcel it will email them to come and collect it, because if I get a parcel from home, I won't find out until I go to pick something up that I would have bought from Amazon. Apart from that, I recommend this accommodation to everyone.

Love living there! The facility and apartment in Lumis are great. I had a really enjoyable experience during the last semester lived in Lumis. The staff worked here is very friendly and helpful. Sakeena is so kind and helped me a lot. Definitely recommend this apartment to others!

Stayed here for 2 years in a studio. Very modern and beautiful interior, spacious bathroom and a nice kitchen. There is also a pretty good gym for cardio, a game room and a film room. The only downside is the laundry room, as it is very expensive, especially for students. The reception team has always been very helpful and I have enjoyed staying here.

Fantastic student accommodation, especially for final years who are looking for somewhere quieter. I had a gold studio which was perfect for me, after 3 years of student accommodation I've never seen a studio so clean and well maintained. Staff are super helpful and even throughout the COVID-19 pandemic I received regular updates from the team as to what was going on. Highly recommend LUMIS if you are a DMU student!

Awesome accommodation. Since it’s a brand new accommodation built last year it does require one or two improvements like the radiators being too hot for itself, light bulbs burning out, locks coming off etc but the maintenance team are always on it super quick. Lumis is probably the most luxurious student accommodation available in Leicester. 10/10 would recommend

Living here this year. One of the greatest living experiences of uni so far. Great new modern accommodation with all facilities for your needs. Staff are amazing and helpful (Wendy is great). Would definitely live here again.

The accomadation furnishing is equipped to high standards and very comfortable. One of the best places to live in Leicester. The staff have been friendly and delightful to talk to. Wendy especially making me feel most welcomed, friendliest, supportive and the most helpful during my stay. She really understands the students. Thank you Wendy !

Place is lovely in general, at first I assumed I was getting my money's worth but whenever I had an issue with something in my room and contacted the maintenance team, I was completely ignored. The toilet roll holder in my bathroom broke as well as the strip lights in my kitchen, I filed a written complaint to the maintenance staff in November and was assured by the staff at the desk that they would come within the week to fix the issue. Nobody came to fix it throughout the whole year. Also kept a lump some of my deposit due to little pieces of dirt left in my room? Honestly felt like they were looking for reasons to keep my deposit. Would recommend Summit on Eastern Boulevard over this place. The security guard is also a weirdo.

Beautiful and modern accommodation. The staff are lovely, I was sick in winter and one of the staff members (Wendy) bought me some fresh bread and chicken soup which I thought was lovely. All the staff are friendly and I can’t wait to spend another year with them!

If you stay here, you don't just get a cool flat, you also have a free gym, games room, lounges, cool yard... and all of that basically right in the city centre.
