I have completed my three AS level exam in this summer.I am very lucky to find this school in 2019 through my friend's recommendation. At first, I applied for the IGCSE exams in this school, which provides a good exam environment and affordable price for candidates.Afterwards，I began to study A-level in LBC. This school offered various of IGCSE and A-level subjects, such as Accounting, Further mathematics, Maths，Psychology，Chinese . There are various of high quality classes in small groups. Super nice and responsible teachers, a great learning environment and very harmonious school atmosphere, welcoming and helpful school staff. At this moment,I would like to thank my school principal Mr. Ahmed and Vice principle Ms Sandra， who are very friendly and helpful teacher. According to their advice,I successfully changed the two-year a-level course to the one-year intensive A-level course. I have completed 5 A levels this summer with this college and in this stressful exam period, this school was AMAZING!!! They where of tremendous help every step of the way. I also completed core practicals in Biology, chemistry and physics and the teachers were extremely helpful both in explaining and teaching. I can not explain how grateful I am to all the teachers and the supporting staff, they where all so lovely and the environment was extremely friendly and the students are so welcoming. I am especially grateful to Patricia and Roshni for always making me feel so welcome. Best college in the world 🌍 . All personnels are incredibly knowledgeable , from the Principle to the Receptionist to the Teachers.( without Patrica, Roshni, Sana’s help I couldn’t register mange my lessons and exams, special Thanks to the receptionists). The college employees & the teachers are so experienced. My Maths teacher was so patient with me throughout my exams and evidences. Mr Haemin in one a kind. You can not find a Maths teacher better than Mr Heamin in London. He uses different pen colours, he draws drafts and diagrams and until you don’t understand he won’t move to the next subject. He also save his students time & money. I diffently recommend everyone to enrol here if you want to get A or A* . If you are applying for Medicine 🩺👨‍⚕️👩‍⚕️🦷or Dentistry this is the place.They are very flexible with their tutors. If you can’t afford to pay for the whole subject just book as a private candidate, study at your leisure and come to college for private tutor. I GRANTEE 💯 % you will pass with a fantastic results. I completed my IGCSEs at London Brookes College and had a wonderful experience. The teachers are highly professional, are friendly and considerate, and do their outmost best in order to help the students succeed. The reception staff are always nice and welcoming, and are ready and eager to help, whenever you have a question or a problem. The director is caring for the well-being of the students and whenever I was faced with a difficult question, he would listen and help me with it. My daughter is doing her A level Chemistry and Biology at London Brookes College. Her teachers are very supportive and give her plenty of guidance in the required practicals and other aspects of the course. The Principal and support staff are also very friendly and professional in their dealings with students and parents. Our daughter sat her A-Level Chemistry and Maths exams at London Brookes College this year as well as completing her A-Level Chemistry practicals and submitting her UCAS application here. Our experience of dealing with the teachers and staff has been overwhelmingly positive. The staff here are very friendly and supportive and addressed our every need. The chemistry teacher who led the practicals was very thorough and made the experience enjoyable for our daughter. The college was very efficient in terms of communication whilst dealing with our enquiries and paperwork. We are highly satisfied with the outcome of our daughter's A-Level experience. As a parent that had struggled with my son’s A-level education, I was relieved to find London Brookes College. It was the only College that offered what my son needed. They helped him prepare for two A-levels and one AS in one year. I must say that I found the staff very, very friendly in all departments who really went out of their way to help him with his unique needs. Needless to say, the teachers were excellent and always approachable. With the college support as well as support from home, my son’s life has completely turned around. He was deemed a failure by a state school and was told to do an apprenticeship which made him very depressed. Thanks to London Brookes College he is now completely transformed child and extremely happy to get a place at a very good university. I found the fees to be quite reasonable and flexible in terms of the level of support you need and can afford. Certainly worth every penny. THANK YOU ALL AT LONDON BROOKS COLLEDGE. My experience at London Brookes College has been one of a kind. Initially, upon my arrival to the college I was nervous about meeting new friends, building relationships with my new teachers and simply 'fitting in'. However, the college allowed me to feel comfortable and confident immediately. Personally speaking, this college has amazing English and Politics teachers who explain concepts to the depth, my English teachers provided me with all the resources needed to achieve the best grade possible. In addition to this, my politics teacher was able to elaborate and explain complicated current affairs in detail, giving me a broader understanding in the world of politics - I even managed to attend the House of Lords 4 times this year based on a programme which I was put on.

I personally disagree with "ultra 2416" . My three children attend Saturday tuition in all different levels. All the teachers includind those mentioned are professional, helpful and make the lessons interesting and enjoyable. I care about their education greatly and this is one of the reasons my children go to tuition. It helped them to achieve good grades and confidence. spectacular college with teachers who care not just about students academic progress, but also about how well students deal with stress and how to revise effectively. I’m in one to one as well as class tuition, but in both scenarios, students are treated like people, rather than numbers/letters on a results sheet. Highly recommend this college

At the age of 18 I can confidently say that A-levels had been the hardest period of my life. Both academically but also as an individual. As well as managing the workload and revision that Chemistry, English Literature and Psychology demanded, I also needed support. This support I don't think I could have found at anywhere but London Brookes College. I attended Saturday tuition sessions where my chemistry tutor academically challenged me and brought to my attention the importance of purposeful and targeted study, he would never let me go without giving me new things to try by myself at home. My english tutor would bring in extra reading material that widened my knowledge and extended beyond the limits of our specification; allowing greater understanding. They exhausted all possible resources both inside and outside the classroom, whether it was by emailing me solutions to tricky questions or forwarding useful articles. I went from around BCC before I started London Brookes to collecting AAA in English Literature, Psychology and Chemistry on A-level results day 2019. The biggest thank you!

SO disappointed with LBC. Chose this college for tuition with groups for my children, I used this college since my children were starting secondary and till GCSE this year. At the beginning no problem, everything was very good but past few months every Saturday has been a huge disappointment in terms of bookings arrangements because they changed times without confirming it with student or family. Very rude response from ladies at reception if tried to tell the problem. Payment in advance and you get treated with absolutely no respect or not willingness to help or accommodate you. No complaints with teaching but communicating with admin is important and they made me feel bad and many times upset about payment. There was same arrogance when dealing with one of them for exam. Asked my friend’s opinion and is same. DEFINITELY won’t be coming back for A levels. EDIT Hi Owner, it's nice of you to apologise, thank you and I accept your apology but fact remains I was humiliated and bullied from private college staff. If they didn't mean to be rude they can't be staff because they don't know what they say and not professional because of nastiness. I'm sure you know that rude and arrogant people should not be allowed to behave like that. Inshallah this aspect of college changes for better because teaching is very good so three stars now. Thank you for offering discount but maybe our children will come back and I will not email you because I don't want you to know my details and take chance that staff is still there.

I enrolled at London Brookes College in October 2017 to sit the required exams in Chemistry, Biology and Physics for entry into medical school. As a mature student not living in the UK, I initially struggled to find a suitable exam centre where I could take the required examinations; I am delighted to say that all of my struggles came to an end when I found London Brookes College and I am eternally grateful for the help that I received from several staff members at LBC for streamlining my test taking and learning experiences. I am particularly thankful to Mr. Ahmed (the Principal of the College) for his support and encouragement during a stressful exam period, which I will never forget, Dr. Dixon who spent his valuable time coaching and guiding me with some of the advanced A level Chemistry concepts, Dr. Claire for her guidance and support in Biology, Mr. Roshan for teaching me A level Physics and last but not least, Sahil for being an amazing point of contact for all those times when I needed to call upon her managerial abilities. This is truly a fantastic place to not only learn, but to be inspired to achieve great success in whatever you intend to do. The teachers are highly qualified with PhD degrees (Dr. Dixon for Chemistry and Dr. Claire for Biology) and the atmosphere is relaxed yet inspiring. I definitely recommend London Brookes College to all of those people out there who are serious about achieving their goals but need the right environment to make it possible.

I used to come here for tuition and the help i received was amazing. I did private tuition so the help was very specific and targeted my weaknesses. The only thing i would possibly change was for the teacher and i to have set extra time to do more pass papers so i could achieve a better grade.

UPDATE: REVIEW WAS CHANGED FROM 1 TO 3 STARS. SEE BELOW I took my A-level exams at London Brookes as an external candidate. My exchange with them should've been quite clear-cut; pay for my exams, turn up on the day, take the exams and leave - no additional fuss - however, assuming the 1-star (now 3-star) review doesn't immediately imply otherwise, the process wasn't so pleasant. Instead of pouring my anger into an unstructured rant, I'll summarise my woes as succinctly as I can in a few bullet points: - I needed an additional bit of important paperwork to be completed and processed by LBC prior to my examinations. Sahil, the person who was in charge of handling it for me (and completely aware of the importance of the document) forgot to e-mail me regarding the fact that it had gone through properly. Weeks of unnecessary anxiety, exacerbated by the fact that his excuse was that "I thought I had already sent it to you". He said he'd e-mail me as soon as there was a change, and he didn't. - For my second physics exam, I was made to sit beside a girl who was typing up her English A-level on a laptop. First of all, this isn't supposed to happen. Every school/centre I have taken exams at have made an effort to isolate the people writing their exams with the people typing. The reason most exam competent exam centres do this is obvious to anyone - the last thing you need when attempting to recall a formula, compose a paragraph or calculate a result is a constant 'clacking' adjacent to you. It didn't help the fact that the student herself was typing unnecessarily loudly, smashing the keys down as if her grades were dictated by the amount of noise she created. I complained to the invigilator who promised she'd look into it. I also e-mailed the exam centre to get my complaint in writing. No response. (EDIT: see bottom) - The staff are rude and inattentive, the building itself is cramped and worn; the tables wobble, the floor creaks, and exams are taken in a room facing the street with a single pane of glass protecting you from the outside bustle (a primary school is nearby, so if you take a PM exam and it's longer than 2 hours you'll have to deal with a horde of small, noisy children walking along the road for 30 minutes). Exams are also quite expensive relative to other London-based centres. Overall, if you can avoid LBC, please do. I chose them based on their proximity to me. But I'd honestly rather travel the additional 30 minutes before each exam to the next centre if it meant I'd receive a service akin to the one I described at the beginning of this review. EDIT: I received a call from LBC soon after this review was posted. LBC did in fact make an extenuating circumstances application which was recently approved. In response to why I wasn't made aware, it was due to the process being automatic and student correspondence not being required. I haven't been told any details about it, so I remain skeptical, but I can at least say that I was contacted further to my complaint. Review amended from 1/5 stars to 3/5 stars.
