Visited Royal College of Physicians for the first time for a graduation ceremony. Very nice listed venue, with friendly staff every step of the way.
Some teething issues as they open to in-person events gradually, but everything was conducted in a very covid-secure manner.
Would love to come back next year when the Museum opens to explore it in greater detail.

Not difficult to locate within central London. Great interior. Welcoming staff. They make you feel quite comfortable. Within the building, there is certainly a rich history of Academicians! Truly inspiring in the field of medicine!

Grade I Listed attributed to Denys Lasdun, completed in 1964 and later extension.
Housing the HQ, library, archives and historical collection.
Over 500 years old this august Institution also hosts exhibitions, seminars, workshops, courses, lectures and training Faculties.
A massive cantilevered facade overlooking Regents Park imposes and impresses with sculptured geometric shapes and holds it’s ground amidst the grand sweep of Nash’s cream terraces.

I went to the Careless motion: William Harvey’s experiment exhibition; and although I wasn’t fully mesmerised by it; I was very impressed by the building; it is a Grade I listed building and considered as a ‘building of national importance’; inside it is equally impressive, I particularly loved the Dorchester Library on the first floor and the central ‘floating’ staircase.

Always enjoy the ADI meetings I have attended here. The venue is great and I believe this is why the ADI keeps using it as a venue for their annual National Forum events.

A lovely place to explore and see when using leeches was standard medical practice rather than ...
I only attend conferences here.
There's paid on street parking for 2 hours max (i think).

This was a fantastic free museum experience in London, located close to Regents park tube station.
The museum has interesting information about the history of the college of physicians and it's traditions. There are interesting facts about the history of medicine and how technology has affected the practice of modern medicine.
The best part was the anatomical tables on the second floor which were fascinating to see and experience and listen the theories about their origins.

The William Harvey exhibition in the museum room is well thought out, exhibits, interactive displays, an introductory video and unique insights into early medicine. The treasure room contains fascinating medical equipment covering 500 years of European medicine. The building itself is an architectural masterpiece and worth looking at in its own right.

Every summer, numerous private squares welcome the public to browse the immaculate gardens and share their little secrets. This spectacular gardening event is called the London Open Garden Weekend. I am curious about plants of medicinal values, so I visited the Open Garden Weekend hosted by the Royal College of Physicians.Nearest tube stations are Warren Street and Great Portland Street. Thank you.

A great building in contrast to the rest of the Nash architecture around the perimeter of the park... The garden is a wealth of medicinal herbs and flowers to inspire the amateur physic. Conference facilities are always good and well run.

Attended a three day conference at the venue and was throughly impressed with everything the venue had to offer. The lecture hall was great along with the food and staff that service that event througout. Turned what could have been a dull event into something rather enjoyable.

Dr Henry Oakley gave a fabulous tour of the gardens outlining the uses, and origins, of different plants with knowledge and humour. The party from Primrose Hill appreciated our introduction to this lovely setting and Dr Oakley’s warm welcome.

Great conference venue in historic environs (institution rather than age of building as such). Great for members as well as public for various lectures.

One of my Christmas party a few years ago was here and I thought it was a beautiful building; I came yesterday to see the exhibition and had a wander around the whole building - very impresive.
