Visited to see my cousin. Relatively clean accommodation with decent amenities and plenty of shops/cafes nearby. Parking was a little tricky and residences bit of distance away from entrance, making moving out process little tricky. Otherwise quite good residence in South Manchester with easy access to university and city centre

So far at my stay the staff have been super lovely, and my room is a good size with a nice and spacious bathroom. Clean upon arrival and kitchen has all the facilities needed (and it’s awesome that we get a TV).

Really enjoyed my year so far at Ropemaker Court. The bedrooms are a decent size each has a double bed and a large desk. The reception staff are all really friendly, and maintenance resolve problems quickly. Cleaners come once every 2 weeks to clean the kitchen, which is really good and haven't had any problems with the wifi. Also don't worry if you are coming in a group smaller than 6, as we got 2 new flatmates this year who are really nice.

Pretty good experience so far. Rooms are a decent size, the kitchen and lounge space is nice. Staff is super friendly and very receptive to your needs. Any maintenance queries are quickly and adequately resolved. The common room is nice as well with bunch of games and just a cool place to hangout. Highly recommended for students looking for private accommodation.

Moved into Ropemaker Court with some friends as I wanted a private flat for my second year, and so far have no regrets! It's super close to uni so I can have a lie in in the mornings, the rooms are a great size with plenty of storage space and the kitchens are spacious enough to not feel cramped with 6 of us. The staff have also been very helpful and the site feels pretty safe.

Ropemaker Court is a wonderful accomodation. It's very clean and has a great atmosphere! No regrets choosing this place for me. The student life here is respectful and fun and the same time. Staff are always very friendly and helpful. It's a very convenient place to stay as we've got loads of shops just around the corner so I always find it super convenient to make some last-minute errands :)

having only recently moved in I am really enjoying my stay so far. The kitchen and bedroom are clean, updated and of good size. I especially love how bright it is due to large windows bringing in so much natural light. Plenty of storage in both bedroom and kitchen for all of my things with extra space left.

I very much enjoyed my experience at Ropemaker Court this year. Despite the difficulties arising from the pandemic, the accommodation team managed to make the stay both fun and safe. The team were friendly and always inviting, making me feel very welcome, particularly Simon! The facilities at this accommodation are amazing. Arcade machines, football tables, tennis tables and a big TV room are examples of the recreational facilities available for students here. There is also a study room. The bedrooms are very spacious, equipped with great facilities, and the kitchen is more than satisfactory. I would definitely recommend this to people looking for a place to stay in the upcoming year!

I loved my stay at Ropemaker so much that I even stayed for 2 years. The maintenance procedure was always really quick and easy. Room size and bathroom size are great. One of the best parts is the location as it’s so close to transport links, supermarkets and uni. However, my favorite part about Ropemaker is the on-site team who were always very friendly, chatty and consistently went out of their way to help my friends and I!

I moved into Ropemaker this year and really love this accommodation. It’s got really good facilities and it’s in a really good location, near the shops and the bus stop as well as being a 10 minute walk to uni. I love my room and the ensuite as well and would definitely recommend it to anyone who’s looking for student accommodation in Manchester!

Ropemaker court is a great accommodation. On arrival I found my room and kitchen very clean & spacious. The staff are nice, friendly and always ready to help. It is also at a very convenient location as it is close to many stores such as lidl and is only a ten minute walk from University!

The room is really clean, but some of my furniture are broken. For the noise level, I face to the car washing centre so at 9-4 it is a bit noisy but it is fine. The common room and the kitchen is really spacious and everything works out fine. Got tons of restaurants and supermarket nearby!

My own room was very clean on arrival & the kitchen was near enough spotless, haven’t had any problems with the actual accommodation or reception staff they’ve been very helpful. My only issue in the beginning was with security entering our flat at least once a day but on a few ocassions was 3/4 times, I reported this to reception who said they would investigate further should it happen again and it hasn’t since. Overall enjoying the accommodation & closeness to uni

Ropemaker Court has been very efficient with communicating with me. Before arriving at the accommodation, they would keep me updated with the new developments. They would also reply to any of my queries very quickly via email which was not the case with my previous accommodation. Ropemaker also had a very nice welcome party for all us, it was very easy to make friends since I am new in Manchester. Lastly, the rooms are clean and comfortable.

Spent 3 years of my master's degree at Ropemaker court and it is great student accommodation. Probably the best location in terms of proximity to amenities and the university. Rooms and kitchen are nice and there is a regular cleaning service. All utilities and TV license are included, so you can't go wrong for the price really. Staff are friendly and always help with problems, shout out to Jane and Steve. They are also active on social media and hold a number of events through the year such as Christmas parties and BBQ's which are fun.

Great accommodation, it’s better then many other student halls and perhaps the best from a quality- price perspective. It’s clean, there is always someone on site, staff is super nice, it’s only 2 minutes from Tesco, Poundland, Lidl, Subway, Tim Hortons and bus stop (10-15 min walk to uni place). Highly recommended!

My experience at Ropemaker Court was overall a good experience. I felt that the accommodation looked stylish, the rooms were perfect size and the shared kitchens were nice. I thought the reception and staff were extremely helpful throughout my stay aswell as the security guards, in particular Scott. The only downside I had while staying here was that I found a mouse in our flat during winter. However, I understand that we live next to lots of restaurants and businesses where rodents would possible roam, and once I complained to the staff and maintenance, they quickly resolved the issues and no one in my flat came across one for the rest of the stay. If you are looking for a private accommodation in near fallowfield I would highly recommend Ropemaker as it is in a great location and has lots to offer for a student.

The common room has a massive tv with a very clear definition. I love the fact we can play arcade games completely free of charge. Right next to the common room is an amazing cinema room. What more could a student want in a common room? Oh yeah I didnt even mention the sick ping pong table and the fancy vending machine. As for the rooms, they're a good size. A nice little headboard and for all you gamers out there two ethernet ports in each room. This accom even provides free LAN cables! There's loads of space for clothing and books. It's very easy to keep the room neat. I love the size of my bed its like a double. All-in-all ropemaker would be an amazing experience.

Lived at Ropemaker Court for 2 years and I have really enjoyed my time living here! The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming and deal with any problems or queries you have. The room and kitchen area are both a very good size. Another great thing is the location- there are so many shops, restaurants and transport links nearby. It is also a walking distance (about 10 minutes) to Uni of Manchester. Will definitely recommend staying here!

Ropemaker court was a safe place to stay at, the staff were always kind and my room was given to me very neatly. The reception staff were always excellent and there to help with any queries, a special mention to Jane who always catered to anything I had to ask for within minutes and made the whole process from the start to me leaving in between due to the pandemic, all much easier. The location of the accommodation is right at the start of curry mile so you are never out of restaurant options and you have a bus stop right in the front to get to university. I would have expected a little bit more of a social situation, this can be improved. Overall would recommend to stay here :)

Although still a new student, Ropemaker Court is far has been a wonderful experience: the facilities are clean and modern, the rooms spacious with everything a student would require, and the common area stocked with a foosball table AND table tennis! Maintenance is also quick to respond to complaints, and so far there haven’t been many! So, I’m enjoying my time at Ropemaker Court!

Nice place to live. Located just opposite whitworth park and a 20min walk to AMBS. In the initial days of my stay, the fire alarms goes off often which was disturbing but I think it is sorted now.

Do you want a fire alarm system that goes off everyday for a week straight including at 5 o clock on a Thursday morning? Look no further than Ropemaker Court! Very sensitive and safe fire system that provides the utmost protection to its residents. 5 stars!! Definitely won’t die in a fire here!

I have recently moved into Ropemaker Court and feel as if it is a very good accommodation so far. The staff are very helpful and organised a nice welcome party for us with singer Sally Manson performing in the common room which was great! There was also a pizza van on site which was different to anything I’ve seen before! Thank you to the staff:)

For the welcome party i didnt have the pizza but the van smelt so good and the prices were decent for a authentic pizza ! The facilities and staff were great - everything I needed for a really enjoyable stay overall. I lived here for almost 2 months under lockdown and the premium ensuite room was the perfect size. Perfect location as well, opposite the Lidl/Tesco and also right next to the curry mile and Whitworth Park. Reception and maintenance staff were really efficient and responded very promptly every time. So glad I was able to stay here for my exchange semester!

excellent location, easy to access to city centre. bus stop is jst right in front of the accommodation. decent student area, variety of shops are a min away by walk, there is a gym 10min by walk as well. Rooms are very modern furnished and clean, heater is amazing, u never get cold in winter trust me! reception staff are super friendly as well n security guys work very well which makes you feel very safe especially at nights! for the price amazing service you get! you dont feel like just a customer here they welcome you like a family.

Have Lived here now for over a year and a half. There is only positive things i can say about the place. Rooms: I have a premium room with Ensuite and it is perfect. I have enough room for all my belongings including ALOT clothes/shoes! I have a shoerack in my room and it fits comfortably. I have enough storage under mybed and on the shelves. The rooms as well insulated during the winter so i have never felt cold in the manchester weather. Services: The Repair team are brilliant. Whenever ive had a problem with my shower or toilet it has been sorted and fixed either the same day or next day. Social: The social aspect of ropemaker i was worried about. But i was pleasantly suprised after i moved in how social the people and staff were. The common room is an awesome place to make friends and hold parties! I have booked out the common room many times and had friends over for parties. Staff: The staff at ropemaker is what makes it special. They are all so friendly and accomodating. They go out of their way to make your needs met. Honestly i am so grateful they have made me feel at home. The security staff are very safe and friendly too! I have built a friendly relationship with all staff and security whilst being here. 10/10 Would Highly Recommend.

No doubt the most clean, safe and modern student accommodation I have seen around Manchester, I'd recommend it to anyone.
