Great location, Decent Price, Lovely Vibe. This place feels like home. Highlight: Sean is such an amazing manager, a good egg! He was very helpful and always brings positive energies. Another manager Zoey did a lot for this student accommodation and built really great relationships with tenants. She was truly fantastic! Highly recommend this hall if you are looking for one in Newcastle :-) 5 stars!

Having stayed in The Foundry for one year 2019 - 2020. The place is suitable for students. Room is a little small if you are claustrophobic. Shared kitchens are spacious and if kept clean, feels like home. The common area could be much better equipped with facilities such as games etc.. To Sean, thank you for all that you have done for me and my friends. It was great to have you around.

Between back and forth, I spent 2.5 years in Foundry. Nice and modern interior design. Compared with other student accommodation, the Foundry building is very solid and good sound insulation. The temperature of the room is comfortable in all seasons, warm in winter and chill in summer. Friendly, helpful and responsible Chinese receptionist and staff. Very convenient. Sainsbury and Renhe Chinese grocery stores nearby.

Have been at The Foundry for the last 1 year whilst studying at Newcastle University (no more than a 15min walk away), and it has been an extremely pleasant stay. What stands out the most are the very happy and helpful members of staff - always there to answer any questions or solve any problems, and always happy and open to have a chat about your day! The rooms are sizeable and comfortable, with a large shared kitchen with plenty of amenities. I can't recommend The Foundry enough for a more welcoming and enjoyable accommodation experience!

Very good building, very functional and practical living areas. The staff, including Sean, Sharon, Stacey, Zoey, and Kelland are extremely friendly and helpful. The social events set up by The Foundry are very enjoyable, the community here is a wonderful environment to be a part of. The included washer/dryers and dishwasher in the kitchen are extremely useful, and help save so much money on a regular basis. I have loved my time in the Foundry, and would recommend it as a great student accommodation to be a part of.

The Foundry is an excellent student accommodation and I would fully recommend other students to stay here. It’s close to both universities in Newcastle, the city centre and all the staff are so helpful and supportive. In an area where there are lots of other student accommodation buildings the Foundry stands out from the rest due to staff actually caring about what your doing and on hand to offer advice or help unlike others. You should consider staying at the Foundry, you won’t regret it :)

Best student accommodation in Newcastle in terms of quality and facilities. Love my contemporary Studio flat which is situated really close to University and shops withing walking distance. Also if you've ever got any problems, Jerry the building manager is just a call away and deals with all of your problems in the best and quickest way. In general, a great place to live. Look no further in Newcastle

Great place for students. Great staff. Good distance to northumbria business school (5 minand 10 min to city centre). Common room - 1/5 Morrisons and Saintsburys nearby for groceries. Flats are luxurious. Studios can be lonely for introverts. 😂 But it is great value for money.

The Foundry is a fantastic student accommodation, for many reasons: The rooms and kitchens are very spacious, its close to both Northumbria and Newcastle University, and the staff are extremely kind, friendly and helpful...especially Sean, Kelland, Zoey, Stacey and Sharon. I would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone wanting to stay in Newcastle.

Nice rooms and the studio is decent except for the tiny kitchen. Great table with 3 spacious drawers and a shelf. Bathroom is nice. No common room to socialise though.

I have had great experience at the Foundry...I really have no complaints. The building is cleaned regularly, well maintained, and the building manager, Jerry, is fantastic. He is always there when you need him, and is unlike any other building manager that I have come across. The Foundry is definitely recommended!

We had a very good experience there. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Kellend/Karen was particularly helpful and understanding. She works hard to organize opportunities to socialize. I hope I can stay there longer but my student life finished in the end of 2017. What a shame!

This accommodation is a nice place. The communal area has been cleaned at all time. I like all the facilities in this building. The building manager (Jerry) from the landlord is very friendly and responsible. Great experience.

The whole place is exceptionally well maintained and lately has even taken to adopting a homless cat who now sits on his own cushion in the main reception. Parking is a little difficult but then that's the same for anywhere in Newcastle city centre. The centre itself is easily within walking distance.

I had a studio and it is very functional The room is very well isolated from the sounds so it is very nice. I would definitely recommend this student accomodation to my friends

I lived here for one year and had a pleasant stay. Only 15min walk from Newcastle Uni. The closest grocery stores are Sainsbury's and Renhe. The staffs are also very helpful & friendly.

The location is near the northumbria business school. You can go to the campus, a Chinese supermarket, Sainsbury and tesco within 5 walking distance. The security can be guaranteed and the staff are all friendly and willing to help you. Especially Sean and zoey and kelland. They are patient and very nice.

Good location (close to Newcastle Business School) Tidy room (Premium En-suite with big space, but the showering space is small and there’s no door for wardrobe so dusty clothes) Fair price (Cheaper than the student accommodation nearby) Though there’s no public space for party or gaming but the shared kitchen is really big enough for cooking and dining Staff are kind and every Friday there’s a kitchen clean which is good Disadvantage: heaters only work at nighttime and every Wednesday there’s a fire alarm test which is annoying
