Took Child #1 (who is actually an adult now) to view UEA on its open day. While we were escorted around the student accommodation by a couple of students a woman drove her car over the concrete reservation in the road outside and knocked down a 'no entry' road sign. The symbolism seemed too apposite to ignore.
