The dormitory is generally pretty good. Although the room is not big, it is enough for one person and the facilities are quite complete. If there is a problem with room facilities, the minor problem can be solved the next day after filling out the scheduled maintenance form. The east and west floors are relatively high, and the scenery inside and outside the windows of some rooms is better. Overall it's pretty good.

Kaplan is a really nice accommodation to live in. It’s close to everything in the city and only a minutes walk from old Market Square. The staff are great and help with any issues regarding maintenance or other things. There are cleaners who help keep the communal areas nice and tidy. The rooms are great and have enough storage space and spacious bathrooms however the windows are a bit small and don’t open fully, which is frustrating when it gets too hot. Other than that Kaplan is a great place to live

This is a good place for living while you study. I have the most simple room. However, it is quite big, i have a beautiful view on the city. It has a really good and speed internet. All home staff are working. Never had a problem with Kaplan. But, i make only four start, because in comparison with other accommodations or your own flat the prices are quite big, and it can be lower.

Good place to live for your first year until you get a hang of things. Its right in the middle of the city so everything is close. The room size is pretty good for me and I managed to fit in all my clothes in the closet despite it being a little on the small side. The reception people are really kind and friendly too.

Nice building, spacious rooms, and the team is always nice and ready to help. But the only one thing is that the girl who work at receptionist when I first moved in she was very unfriendly ( she look like Chinese I don’t know her name ) . everyone being nice even the cleaner but not her .

Jason dance processed the booking very quickly and swiftly. Chris at the reception was really very helpful with everything. No complaints, just loved and enjoyed my stay at Kaplan. Would surely recommend this place.

Room was nice after I did a bit of decorating. Needed a bit of a clean when I first arrived tho. Very helpful and friendly staff. Pretty loud/party central but that's to be expected from student halls. Smoking area has a peng view looking over some older victorian buildings to the council house dome in the city centre.

This is one of the only accommodations who provides a short time stay thats a plus point. Also its located perfectly, its in the city centre and from a walking distance from NTU. The staff here are so nice. The rooms are well equipped and modern. There are alot of international students so you will for sure find your group of friends. Great accommodation!!

I'm a freshman at NTIC and currently staying at Kaplan Residence. The overall experience is positive as the necessaties are present in the room , however the space turned outed to be much smaller that I expected due to bizzare placement of the bed that takes almost 2/3 of the whole room . However ,this depends on the budget option you've chosen. Additionally at the first arrival the room was filthy ,covered with dust , so I had to clean it by myself (aka vacuum cleaner and a mop are very handy ) Finally ,you can always leave a complaint at the reception and the mainatince team will be send to fix stuff for you (they are not always effective but this is a different topic to discuss) In general I would give it 3/5 for relatively cheap pricing and close positiong to the city center

I live in the east building, but I often listen to their stories because I am close to my friends living in the west building. Friends living higher floors especially had a harder time because both lifts had been broken. The eastern building has more population capacity, but the eastern building has also broken down, so it was inconvenient to wait much more inconvenient. And the man who worked at night on weekdays was really unfriendly. When I first came to this residence, I was guided by him, and he treated me with an irritating voice from the beginning and threw the documents under the plastic guard. Since then, his unknown behavior has continued several times. Every time he inquired, he often repeatedly said he didn't know, which was experienced not only by me but also by other students. So even if I had a suggestion at night, I would endure it and ask another employee in the morning. Please change the staff for next year's students.

i've been in kaplan for almost four months now, and it has been a wonderful experience. From the cleaniness, to the security, some fun sports equipments like the pool table, tennis table, the available free tv's, the freedom, the very spacious rooms that are worth the value of your money, the free maintainance, the first floor: centre of all parties for those who like to, the rules and regulations to keep so people donot go astray, the free welcome and christmas parties, the spacious rooms for chilling, the peace and quiet if you want, the loud and crazy for the willing, and most importantly you never get bored. of course it has its flaws, like sometimes the elevators going out of order, but that's about it. it is so cool even some people from out side with friends in kaplan are always here. and some times spend the night here. it is a really good place if you are just arriving oin nottingham as a student, and you are looking for a good student accomodation to live, or you already livr somewhere else and you are looking to change your accomodation, or you're just really bored of your place and looking for somewhere fun to stay, or even if you are the type who just wants a safe quiet study good safe place to stay. And don't forget, its really close to NTU, NTIC UON etc, so you don't have to worry about being late to classes.

Nice standard nottingham accommodation, rooms are quite spacious in comparison to other accommodations. Right in the city centre so it’s convenient for students and anyone in city campus in NTU. Good on maintenance and celebrates holidays which is very sweet

I am here in kaplan since september and the service was excellent! Every time there is an issue the support service at the reception provides immediately to solve it, I feel really pleased about that. Moreover the kaplan's team has organised many common events during these months, like barbecues or championships (like ping pong) in order to group cohesion. Infact thanks to that I have met so many people in kaplan! Adding to that, I think that kaplan is in a very strategic position because it's close to everything: university, clubs, pubs, restaurants and the square, of course, it's like if every place is only 5-7 minutes walking far from kaplan, that's crazy! I really recommend this place if you have to study in Nottingham, 100% satisfied.

It’s been a tough year for many students, but my step-daughter has quite enjoyed living here. I would say the lengths in which Kaplan have gone to make this unprecedented time a little bit easier is quite evident. When we first moved in, we had a few issues with the lock, but staff were quick to resolve the issue and Lisabel has not had any issues since. This really gives me a point of comfort, as it gives me the impression that the staff are always willing to help when they can. I have only been to one room, but they seem to be a fair price. ( you get what you pay for £) Really appreciate the service and effort Tam puts in to accommodate my step-daughter, and the level of service she has frequently provided. ( Friendly, polite and concise ) Tam set a great example of how the team work at Kaplan. I can only assume that the rest of the staff are the same. All in all, this is a good place to stay for first year students to meet and make friends, as the group are now going to get a house together for 2nd year. Thanks again

Love living here! The friendliest staff ever, and any issues I’ve had have been resolved quickly and with discretion. Rooms are bright, clean, and well laid out - actually nice colour schemes that don’t feel overly ‘studenty’!! So much storage in the rooms (huge under bed space, storage system around & above desk, built-in wardrobe, extremely deep cupboard!), plenty of plug sockets, and really good heating & water pressure (my experience with a classic room.) Great facilities (common area, study rooms, laundry room, smoking area, terrace etc.) Really appreciate the lengths they went to at Christmas & Valentine’s Day to decorate the ground floor, made it feel really homely and happy and showed that the staff care - never seen more fairy lights in one room!! They also run events I.e. free gift bags, sweets on Valentine’s Day, hot drinks, etc. They've offered zoom calls to those who want them throughout lockdown to discuss any issues they’re having with the flat, which is really useful for people who have been self-isolating. I always get replies to my emails within anywhere between 10 minutes to 24 hours depending on how urgent it is, never been left waiting! Cannot recommend enough. Thank you Jason & everyone else for making Kaplan a lovely place to live, especially during a pandemic!

Lived here for 6 months during my foundation term and generally loved it. The studio room was spacious and there are useful facilities such as the laundry and study areas. The location and staff were also excellent. Only complaint was that the lifts were down regularly.

Some of the reviews I have read are extremely exaggerated to a point where I had to do my own review in order to give a plausible account of living in global point . I have lived here from September 2018 until now,April,2019. -The location of the accommodation is very good. - The room sizes are not as spacious but it is enough for one person. The beds are bigger than a single and also quite spacious. -Shared kitchens are dirty due to flatmates and they are cleaned once a week but obviously your flat mates being dirty is not the accommodations problem . - Upon moving into the room ,it was extremely dirty and didn’t look like it had been cleaned after the last tenant. -The staff is helpful most times and there is always someone by reception . The only problem would be that the whole year my mailbox has not been fixed. - When something is broken and you report it, the accommodation is extremely efficient in getting it fixed . - I agree that the elevators are a big problem and most of the time there is only one working on the east side. - The WiFi is always working, there is always hot water . - Noise once again is something that cannot be blamed on the accommodation, it is the other tenants, but this noise is controlled by the accommodation when it is in excess. Overall if you want a big luxurious room then it is not the place to stay, but anyone looking for comfort and a decent place to stay and meet some very good people , this is the place. I have had a decently good experience the past months!!!

I would recommend for anybody looking for an accommodation central to the city centre as it’s a short walk away from everything. The staff are friendly and happy to help with any problems you might have and the rooms are a nice size.

It's been a tough year but for me the staff have been friendly and helpful. They have lots of covid rules in the building but i havent caught it so i guess the rules help with that. Parties can't happen, visitors arent allowed but the government have said thats what has to happen so its not the staff's fault. Unlike some other accoms the staff really try to help people with issues and i've been away for a while and theyve sent an email saying im getting a refund (which is nice because they dont have to give one). they have been running events like hot drinks, free goodie bags, sweets and other stuff, they put in effort to brighten up reception for christmas (which looked incredible - a bit like santa's grotto but it cheered me up). i wish my first year experience would have been better but the building and the staff have been great, i would stay here again if i could.

I have spent a fair amount of time now at Kaplan and all the staff have been brilliant for my needs. My post have always been collected by reception staff and the app used to track it has been efficient. I've never had a problem with washing. To be fair there has always been at least one lift working in the time I have been here. The location cannot be faulted. Want to say a massive thank you to the Kaplan staff for their support and listening ear during my time here, really pleased. Would be happy to squat here post contract

I would like to stay here at next year as well. 시티 중앙에 있어서 어디든 쉽게 갈수있고, 학생 공용공간도 크고 많아요. 특별한 날마다 공용공간을 장식해주는데 그것도 예쁘고 좋아요. 부엌같은 공용공간에는 매주 청소하시는 분이 청소해주시는데 깨끗하게 잘 해줘서 너무 좋아요. 방에 문제는 없는지 한번씩 와서 체크해주고 고쳐줄때도 있어요. 시설같은것도 나름 괜찮아요.
