Gertrude Bell was here!
Visited once and had a lovely Sunday brunch with friends in its beautiful garden.

Handsome and serene college and gardens, although I'm not the most objective critic. I'm sad I missed the wildflower spiral quad this year. It will be even better when all the talented groundstaff return.

Excellent
Beautiful setting and grounds

One of the friendlier, more welcoming colleges. Beautiful grounds running down to the Cherwell. Loved to see how they’ve changed the “sterile” quad grass that many colleges in Oxford have into a beautiful wildflower meadow. Such a nicer welcome to the college and a better example of its values to the world.

Located a convenient 75 miles from Oxford's historic centre, It's a great base from which to explore the city provided you have Concorde. Its rustic setting provides a monastic atmosphere in which to contemplate what form the courgettes will take in the next meal at hall.
For any 'leave' voters who worry about the implications of a remain vote on national security, the college lies comfortably outside the blast radius of most modern weapons and is currently constructing further defenses, portcullises and gates in case They come on foot.
I was particularly impressed by the visiting fellows who certainly improve the profile of the college when they're visible. Alan Rusbridger's success in recruiting Nearly Headless Nick, Hamlet's father, Casper (the friendly), and the ghosts of christmas past, present and future was one of the reasons I applied to the college after my rejection from 'I'm a celebrity get me out of here'.
At first, I found the college's attempts to garner prestige through its pastiche of Roman architecture nauseating but the interior balances this
dizziness with the impression that you are on a ferry to Bestival.
Overall, totally sound college with great mates and a really chill vibe. Utterly dope.
