I just wanted to say how much I have appreciated the support that Steve Nichols has provided in teaching me maths. English is not my first language and he has been patient and kind.
He is a great teacher and passing this exam has given me a real sense of achievement.Rasa

I won't lie. I didn't have the best track record in this college- with around 80% attendance both years, I may not have been the most liked student by all the staff. However, despite this, most of my tutors treated me with dignity and respect. I did Level 3 Games Design, and I feel a need to give a good word to both Chris and Mark. You can really tell they're passionate about teaching, and that they really do care about the students.
With help from my teachers and their continued support, I was able to achieve a final grade of D*D*D, a grade much higher than my target grade of a measly DDM.
I can't give you my honest opinion on any other course, but I can wholeheartedly say that the Games Design course is one of, if not the best course which I have attended so far. 5/5

I studied Functional Skills English level 1 in 2011 at Preston's Course College,i enjoyed the course i found my English tutor Chris Forde to be very supportive i thought the course was interesting.I had to take a re - sit for the exam, which i passed on the next attemped.I also studied Functional Skills ITQ level 1 City & Guilds, which i was well supported by my tutor Tony Giles.
This course was a good acheivement, as i had to pass 5 modules in order to get this qualification.I 've have further improved my education and my prospects in general .My last academic year with Preston College was 2013,in that year i studied Functional Skills Mathmatics Entry Level 3 City & Guilds which i successfuly went on to pass the exam. The Tutors who taught me on this course were mike Perry and nigel Claire they supported me,j thought this was an excellent course. It really boosted my confidence in Mathmatics.I enjoyed my time studying these courses at Preston's College. If you want to brush up on different subjects, then i would definitely recommend Preston's College for a place to study. So get your self down to a Preston's College next open event & see what course's they have got to offer.

Just finished my second year on the adult plastering course and i cant fault the training. From when i started never touched a trowel to now the confidence to plaster any wall or ceiling is all down to the knowledge and skills ive picked up from this course the tutor Paul Morville is so easy to talk to and the knowledge he has about the trade is unreal, I can honestly say i enjoyed this course alot and would highly recommend anyone thinking of getting into plastering to enroll with preston college.

The staff are there to help and the environment feels safe, learning is encouraged by the atmosphere. There are smoking shelters and college bus routes.
