M. M. V.The City Block student residence in Reading is a very pleasant space to live in, with many facilities and a very friendly and active community. The staff is very attentive, it makes things a lot easier during the pandemic. The place is very well located; It has shops available nearby and is a 15 minute walk from the city center.
J. H.I have to recommend this student accommodation. It has a great location which is not too far from the town, near to the hospital and tesco express, so you can get everything you need and sleep quietly.
It has free gym and very neat and beautiful common room. You can hold a decent party with your friends there or catch up a group meeting.
Also, the price is reasonable for a studio comparing with others. Anyway, go for it.
W. I. W. M. S.The best accommodation for students in Reading. Everything about this place is well thought out. I appreciated the team that makes the place an enjoyable stay. In the midst of this pandemic, it was tough getting things out of my room because I am back in my home country but the kind assistance from the team at cityblock has made it a lot easier. How I wish I stayed here from the first year! thank you very much
K. W.My boyfriend and I are currently staying at CityBlock and I couldn't reccommend it highly enough. The staff are really friendly and go above and beyond for you! They create a really homely atmosphere, which you don't usually get in Halls/Private Halls which is lovely. The facilities are also amazing - it's great for entertaining friends and the gym is also fab (and included in the price). Whenever my friends from uni come over, they always say they regret not having looked around and booked on themselves!

Not only does it have a vast array of facilities (gym, communal area, cinema room, shared kitchens) that really making student living very fun, but the professionality and warmth offered by the staff, and especially Rachel, make living here a very familiar environment that definitely makes you feel less homesick.
I indeed look forward to spending the rest of the year here! :)

L. S.i completed my master degree in the university of reading. During my master year, i lived in cityblock. I think the staffs in cityblock are really really helpful. If you have problem with your living, they are willing to help. they are also very professional as well. i would say this is a prefect place to stay in reading.

c. m.Cityblock Reading is a brand new accommodation, all the rooms and facilities are new this year. it provides studio room, and also provides three big kitchens at ground floor, gym and study area pool table etc are all at the ground floor, a small food store just at the left side of mean entrance. The letting manager Rachel are very nice and helpful, she helped me to move my luggage when I checked in.
