The wardrobe was broken even though it was an alright accommodation for students. Some students (I won't say who) were very loud at some points.

Good value and really modern rooms. Noise can be an issue which can be annoying if you're in your third year and need to study and sleep, but generally they are helpful. Reception is super nice and friendly, and there is regular events and such. Good facilities including games room, cinema, study room and more, but unfortunately no gym. Usually have really good incentives for booking in July/August time so it's worth waiting late to book unless you want a specific room.

Rooms are very nice, relatively cheap overall, situated right near a large car park as well as being less than a minutes walk from being in town and a weatherspoons. Staff are very nice, clean and nice flats.

Lovely clean accommodation, brilliant location (especially for Fine Art/ Graphics/ Illustration students), Lidl and Premier nearby for the essentials, close to town, and best of all the friendliest, most wonderful staff. Reception is manned nearly 24/7 and they’re quick to respond to any concerns. Go out of their way to make sure our experience is as comfortable as possible.

Amazing social spaces, great privacy- you’ve definitely got the option to socialise and if not your privacy is respected with minimal noise and no distractions making studying easier. Study rooms both group and individual study available and more relaxing spaces such as the cinema and art room (nice way to wind down after a long day). Often tea, coffee or hot chocolate is available in the common rooms, great for the cold weather. Many events, cheap prices and wonderfully welcoming staff available 24/7. Spacious rooms and various room availability for all your needs. If your struggling for choice Austen House is the place to be!!!

Good place to live ! The owner Amelie is a great owner always welcoming me with smile and hello, only suggestion I have is that they could respond to complaints better! But on the other hand the events Austen hold is great for socialising ! Not overly priced for what you get either as it comes with many facilities such as , cinema room , music room and many more which you can hire out

Really enjoy my stay at Austen House. Excellent location 15 minutes walk from University, and 5 mins from shopping centre. I feel safe and secure, and staff are really nice, and easy to talk to if I have any problems.

Recently been looking for the perfect accommodation for sept 2017, due to being in Wales I couldn't view the accomidation. I got in contact with austin house and Amelie Trizzulla did a Skype call showing me the most perfect accomidation after discussing over email what I was looking for. From then she has stayed in contact and helped me with every question I have from payments to guarantor info. Amazing service provided by Amelia herself. Extremely looking forward to living at austin house now in September

(Translated) The check-in was quick and friendly and the room was well signposted, but the path felt like a maze. A few more entrances would be really recommended here. The room itself was clean and the space was okay for one person. However, the room was sold to us as a double and it definitely wasn't. The bed was way too small and my fellow traveler had to sleep on the floor. Our luggage was stored with grumbling on the day of departure, but we were able to continue to use the common rooms out of goodwill. Incidentally, the location was really excellent. Supermarkets and pubs were within walking distance. (Original) Der Check-In erfolgte schnell und freundlich und das Zimmer war gut ausgeschildert, jedoch kam einem der Weg wie ein Labyrinth vor. Hier wären ein paar mehr Eingänge wirklich empfehlenswert. Das Zimmer selber war sauber und für eine Person vom Platz her in Ordnung. Uns wurde das Zimmer jedoch als Doppelzimmer verkauft und das war es auf keinen Fall. Das Bett war nämlich viel zu klein und mein Mitreisender musste somit auf dem Boden schlafen. Unser Gepäck wurde am Abreisetag mit Murren aufbewahrt, wir konnten jedoch aus Kulanz die Gemeinschaftsräume weiter nutzen. Die Lage war im Übrigen wirklich hervorragend. Supermärkte und Pubs waren in Fußnähe zu erreichen.
