I am in love with this place. It is my second year at Student Roost -St Davids. The staff is cheerful, accommodating and kind. I find my room to be spacious, comfortable, well lit and ventilated. I get the best of both worlds, i.e. privacy in my bronze ensuite or many opportunities to interact with new people, make friends and make the most of my university life. My favourite places are the study room, the social hub, the theatre room and the gym! ( in that order)
Kindly scroll down, and you can find a picture of the breathtaking view from my room’s window.

You’ll be persuaded to come and live here with a free bus pass and having a bus stop right outside the building to take you to either campus. However, this doesn’t really matter since hardly any buses run, don’t show up on time or don’t show up at all. There’s even been times I’ve gotten halfway to the university and the driver has pulled over and told everyone that no one will coming to take over. This isn’t really student roosts fault but if you want to actually go to your lectures, I’d suggest moving closer to the campuses to either walk or cycle.
There have been times staff have lied and said someone is moving into the flat only for us to waste our time making space for someone who will never arrive. Other student roosts in the UK make you feel like you’re at home but this one makes you feel like they’re the ones paying rent. Some staff can be lovely and others can be rude or unhelpful.
I can’t see anyone wanting to stay longer than a year before moving to a house with friends. Block F flats are lovely and modern but you have to pay more, even though these types of rooms are standard in other roosts.
It wasn’t a terrible experience living here but I think with all the transport and staff issues, I’m ready to move on.

The best student accommodation in swansea. Very friendly staff and the rooms are upto standard. I love the entertainment amenities set up around the apartment blocks. The study rooms are also very functional and warm. I would recommend any international student looking for accommodation to check out St. Davids as there's value for your money.

Fantastic facilities, excellent location right opposite the station and I must give a shout out to their friendly staff who dealt with my sons issue promptly

Stayed here for the first year of university, and overall I'd say it was a good experience. I met lots of people through Student Roost who I wouldn't have met otherwise, which I am very grateful for. The rooms are very secure, and there is plenty of space for belongings. The accomodation is a little bit expensive, even with the cheapest option. Make sure you read up on their cancellation policy as once you've entered the contract it's difficult to get out of.

I absolutely feel at home at the Roost since the first day I arrived here! The staff is so lovely, friendly and helpful that any problem I had encountered with was easily and so quickly solved. I was always able to get in touch with someone whenever I needed, for anything I needed. They are so easy to communicate with and I am so grateful for all the positive vibes they give. Other than the absolutely amazing staff, the Roost in general is amazing as well. It is so easy to make friends and be socialized in the common areas, I especially love the garden. It s a great place to just chill and meet people, enjoy the rare days when it doesn’t rain ☔️ Plus the wifi works great and the rooms are absolutely comfortable. I am honestly so glad that I chose the Roost to be my new home.

My room is located beside the kitchen where most of the other floormates will be partying. So, I can't get a peaceful and good night's sleep.
But of course, it's different for other flatmates or floormates and the staff are really friendly and kind.

I'm currently living here in a bronze room, it's not massive but there's plenty of space for all my stuff. The whole complex is amazing with a gym and a couple of places you can hang out. It's only a five minute walk from the station and about ten/fifteen minutes to town, which is great for a night out. What's also great is how safe you can feel because everything is locked unless you have access to a key. Your key will get you into the buildings and into your flat, but only your key will get you into your room so you know if you lock it that no one can go in there while you're out.
