m. a.I remember when I was first looking for an accommodation, I was really skeptical about how to choose the right one. But ever since I moved in, I have been in love with this place. With well-designed and spacious rooms, organized and clean infrastructure, amazing events and activities, friendly and supportive staff, and an all time secure space , I have felt at home here. Being located in city centre, you have access to literally everything in walking distance, be it university, shopping area, restaurants, supermarkets, fests; thank you for making student life easier with the best facilities. The little things like printing service, 24x7 helpdesk, wristband for room key, free cycles, wifi and a beautiful river view mean a lot to me. Student castle is definitely the right choice and worth every penny. Highly recommended!
J. L.·The rooms are quite comfortably furnished and there is plenty of space to store items (superb storage cupboards)， colour of the room's design is lively.
·The staffs are always friendly. And there are lots of events will be held at different festivals. Mailboxes are individual for each room and privacy is guaranteed.
·The location is fantastic, there are at least 4 bus stations nearby, and it only takes an 8 min walk to the city centre.

Q. Z.I had a wonderful year at York student castle. reception prepares different gifts and food on different holidays and anniversaries, free pizza and sweets. Not to mention the facilities, everything that needed to be repaired was fixed within a day and the heating was so good in winter that you could wear a short sleeved t-shirt indoors all the time. The point is! The beds in the rooms are the biggest of any student house! I miss the sc bed every time I come back from a trip. The rooms have everything you need, plenty of storage space and a large kitchen. There is also a study area and a play area. We can play table tennis and pool downstairs and have a drink and a chat. It was a very memorable year. Thank you student castle!
S. K.Stayed here for 2 nights in November and would definitely stay again. Accommodation really good, clean, warm and plenty of space, even had parking on site. Staff very pleasant and friendly. Part of student accommodation so had all facilities which made it better than a hotel room. Situated inside the city walls so only a few minutes walk from the Castle Museum, the Shambles and York Minster. Excellent base for visiting York. Was disappointed with the Christmas Market though, which wasn't open at night, not sure if this was because it was raining, also I expected it to be larger. Hope to stay in York again, but would choose either spring or summer next time.

M. O.I Lived in student castle for my second year of undergrad and can’t recall having a single fault for my experience. The facilities are kept immaculate and the staff at reception are always so happy to help. Whenever there are normal issues that come with living somewhere, maintenance were also very prompt to help. An on-site gym membership, cycle hire programme and cleaning services all make the price you pay so worth it. Not to mention the comfortable rooms. Can’t wait to return next academic year!
